Normally this place is great. The food is always excellent. However, the last 2 trips thru the drive thru yielded less than excellent in the preparation. 2 tacos w/grilled chicken and NO CILANTRO. Requested, confirmed at the order kiosk and at the window. Got 2 tacos WITH cilantro. Yes, I can pick out the soapy tasting herb but.. Today, ordered 2 classic chicken burritos, no beans, extra meat. Confirmed it, twice. Got 1 burrito, no beans extra meat. Also ordered the chips and queso. Got a bag full of broken chip pieces, not a single whole chip in the bag. Hard to dip chip shards. No receipt in the bag or in my hand but I was definitely charged for 2 burritos. The kid at the window seemed REALLY new, couldn't find the button to order the Classic Chicken Burrito and asked someone. That's fine. The food itself was good but had to cut the 1 burrito in half to give to my friend instead of each of us having our own. Annoying. Won't stop going there but will definitely be sitting at the window checking every item closely from now on. Do better EPL Tracy!

The crispy tacos are amazing. I love them. The shell is actually crispy, not hard and stale. You know what I mean, I’m sure. You know how when you order a “crispy” taco sometimes the shell will taste as if it was fried last night and then put in a microwave to warm up. Well this taco is freshly made and it is obvious. If you haven’t tried their crispy taco you are missing out.

My crunchy chicken tacos was not good yesterday. Not sure if it was because it was Christmas Eve and 6:45 pm. Greasy, more lettuce than chicken and lukewarm. The only item that was hot was the churros🤔🫣.
I usually like El Pollo but today I ordered a 2 piece (breast and wing) combo and they skimped me by giving me the smallest wing I've ever gotten at a chicken restaurant.
They've downsized their menus. They no longer offer black beans. They no longer offer a shrimp. Mediocracy at its best
Seasoning not bad on chicken, but not juicy at all. Pieces were also very small. First time trying this chain, not in any hurry to return. Not worth it in my opinion.
I like el pollo loco because it's the only place that offers chicken that's not fried. But it's becoming like other places where you get less food for more money. They have reduced the size of the sides and increased cost. The chicken is about the size of a Cornish hen and is so small. The chicken is good so too bad you don't get a decent portion even when ordering a 4 piece. Wings and legs are so small there's no meat. The sides are ok but the Mac was less so. It's stored so hot that the cheese started to separate and the dish was overcooked.
Not to be a Karen but I ordered a double chicken tostada which is supposed to come with a salad sauce, avacado, and get this CHICKEN. Just broke this bad boy apart and I have no CHICKEN, avacado, salad sauce or rice anywhere. On another note I also asked for guac on the side, none of that anywhere either. There wasnt even any spoon of fork. That being said this is the first time this has happened to me at this place. Usually they do get my order right, and the workers are nice; but today im too salty to eat lol. Edit: The chicken on the side is chicken my mom gave me from hers bc she felt bad for me not getting any 😭
Haven’t been at El Polo Loco or should I say El Polo Joko for a while the flavor is different and the 8 pc meal for $30 was hard and tasted like it’s been sitting under the light all day. Not going back the $5 Costco chicken is better and juicier.

This isnt a terrible el pollo loco ive been her many times and have been satisfied but the other day I placed an online order for a 8 peice meal online pretty late maybe 30 mins before they close, the 2 salads were good and mostly fresh, but all the chicken was cooked, like 10 hours of heat lamp cooked!! Not much meat was salvageable from the dry chicken but I was tired and I just enjoyed the salad
Mashed potatoes were good but the chicken was really dry. My wing didnt even anything ediable left on it. One server came by our table and asked if everything was alright and we showed him the wing. He apologized but nothing was done to try and correct it. Weeds need to be pulled out front too
The guy at the window last night was very unprofessional. He kept talking and laughing with another coworker. He acted like he did not want to be at work. Survey ID 0113 24153 2673 The guys name was Orlando.
The flavor not is same like anothers pollo lo cos , and I request 3pcs and, Pico de gallo, avocado and cilantro sause and only give 2 pc and not any sauce. I don't like this place. And for replace the piece , I take a picture 😲😲😲
