I went in without much expectation, simply because it was a nearby restaurant that was open late. Having been fed up with the flashy, salty, and overcooked pasta typical of tourist destinations for days, I was delighted to find this place's simple yet cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I'm not a big eater, but I devoured the vongole pasta and grilled salmon without a trace. I plan to visit several more times during my stay in the area. I highly recommend this place to travelers seeking reasonable prices, a comfortable atmosphere, and a taste of authentic Milan.
The food is really good and home-cooked...the service is friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Simple restaurant, excellent value. Fresh, well-cooked fish; the octopus with potatoes was incredibly tender! Generous portions a la carte. The fried food is also good (giant cutlet!). Ample on-street parking, convenient for ring roads. Great for an informal evening with friends.
I went to this restaurant today for the first time. A very simple place, with a wide variety of cuisine. I had the tagliatelle allo scoglio, a masterpiece from the chef, as you can see in the photo. My companions had the beef tagliata (I stole a piece, very delicious) and the elephant ear steak with fries. Prices are affordable for everyone. The staff are friendly, professional, and delicious. I highly recommend trying it.
I ate fish and it was incredibly good. My partner had a pizza and I tried the Diavola Pizza, and I can only say that I have never (!) eaten such a good pizza. The service was very friendly. All in all, highly recommended! Absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, we only discovered the restaurant on our last day of our stay; otherwise, we would definitely have gone back.
Thank you so much for the lovely evening and the exceptionally good food. I haven't had such authentic and delicious Italian food in a long time. The culinary offerings here were, in a nutshell, simply Italy on a plate. You can feel the love for gastronomy and Italian cuisine in this restaurant, and how proud the chef is of his establishment. Highly recommended if you don't just want to eat, but also want to experience the taste of Italy in every bite.
Excellent place. I travel all over Italy for work and have rarely had lunch or dinner at the same place. Here I felt at home, and the cuisine was truly refined and varied. The fixed menu is always presented with four first courses and four second courses at a truly reasonable price, not the usual crap (arrabbiata, garlic and oil, carbonara, etc.). I highly recommend stopping by this place because you'll be very happy and satisfied. PS. In Milan, you can only dream of eating great food for little money (this place is the exception).
I went for lunch today, a Saturday, choosing this place by chance. We had a cutlet that was unimaginable, I assure you!!! Huge and delicious. The gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts were very good. For bread, they served focaccia, excellent (the pizzeria, with a wood-fired oven, was also working). Definitely good value for money. Friendly staff. Well done. Highly recommended.
Cibo molto buono e la cameriera molto gentile. Unico neo l'attesa per ricevere le pietanze al tavolo, però questo è giustificabile dal fatto che tra chiusure e covid ci sono meno persone che lavorano. Dessert da migliorare!
I had risotto with asparagus and... I don't remember... For the main course, cooked ham with sweet mozzarella, coffee, and a mineral water. I spent 14 euros. The risotto was good (a slightly larger portion than usual), but ham and mozzarella? No ham and two slices of mozzarella... I'd read about generous portions. In any case, the quality of the first courses was above average as well. I'll be back to try the 🍕 pizza!
Excellent for lunch. They offer set menus at an affordable price. Friendly staff. The products are pre-prepared and sometimes not the best quality, but I recommend it for the price, the location (just steps from the station), and the friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
For just €10, you can get a work menu with generous portions. The quality could be improved; the pasta could be a little more al dente. Overall, the food isn't bad. They also make pizza, but they only have 5 or 6 options on the menu; it could be better.
It's a decent place for lunch. Decent portions, average quality, and prices are average for Milan. A full menu for €10, including a first course, second course, side dish, and wine or water. A bit chaotic and crowded, but it's the only place in the area worth a lunch break. They accept tickets.
Excellent for a quick lunch break with a fixed price menu of 10 euros which varies very often. They also offer fixed price menus at higher prices, they always bring a focaccia (very good) to eat while you wait for the meal. Try the carbonara
Pizza…NCS…eaten because we were hungry, but it wasn't very tasty, greasy, and the dough didn't rise well, given the amount of water we drank afterwards…coffee needs reconsidering…
Wait times are too long. The meat needs to be reconsidered. A brief reply to the owner: a good rule of thumb would be to accept a calm critique. For a slice of steak—frankly mediocre—I waited 35 minutes (after two requests). This is unacceptable, under any circumstances.
Honestly, I was very disappointed by the staff's attitude: I mentioned my allergies, first when booking and then on-site the day of lunch, but they took it lightly. I was told I would be served dishes without dairy proteins, but upon tasting, I noticed the presence of cheese in my pasta dish. This negligence caused me to suffer physical discomfort until the next day, preventing me from continuing my afternoon of study without any problems. I strongly advise the owner to be more attentive to these dietary issues in his customers, as I avoided the worst thanks to the medications I had with me.
Atrocious... we left everything: Fusilli alla Matriciana, half-cooked and half-raw, with tough meat. Conchiglie alla Parmigiana, which Giuseppe Verdi turned over in his grave...stripped beef drowned in meat broth, not even my cat would have eaten them, and finally, melted calamari with melted peas. The two first courses were also served within 15 minutes of each other, but if we had gone to the Caritas soup kitchen, we would have eaten better. Highly not recommended. P.S. I think the positive reviews are from the previous management.
