I just moved to the area on Lake Street and tried four different coffee shops to try to find my go to Interlude was by far the best within the four block radius. I really enjoyed talking to the owners and the coffee is just simply fantastic. Now I know why my neighbor strongly recommended this place above all the other shops.

Such a great experience! I loved my coffee and haven’t tried the pastry yet so I’m excited to try it. Also I liked that the staff was friendly and communicative. Can’t wait to come back and try more! PS please bring a location to the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood :)

They have an amazing vanilla latte! Their menu is concise, but that also means that everything on it is amazing! Inside is very clean and cool feeling, and the staff is friendly and certainly knows what they’re doing!

The banana biscoff matcha was amazing and unique. Will definitely get it again but also eager to try everything else!

Absolutely love this place! The coffee and matcha are both amazing, and their blueberry muffin is one of the best I’ve had. The service is always genuinely kind and welcoming it makes such a difference. Interlude is definitely a favorite!

Coffee is excellent and I’m quite particular. Furniture in the space is nice and minimal. I love the outdoor seating option. Vibe - just minimal, simple vibe. I also tried the gluten free raisin cookie, it’s a nice sweet treat if you like sweet 🍪

Took the pup for a walk and stumbled across this place. It’s super modern and chic inside and gives off a great, cozy vibe. The Starr was friendly and was helpful when I asked about the menu. I went with the specialty Cadenza. It’s shaken espresso over ice and Mexican coke with heavy cream. You also get the bottle and you keep adding coke as you go. Very interesting combo but was delicious.

Everything here is amazing! Their drinks are very smooth and without being overly milky or bitter. Their pastries are also very yummy, especially their sesame loaf! Will need to come back to try some of their signature drinks. The store space here is also very modern and quiet, really nice place to start your morning!

Waited over 2 years to visit this place due to covid closings. Didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, good coffee and great selection of house made pastries.

I love Interlude! The matcha is so good, I buy it to make at home, too. They’ve been wonderful with shipping to us during the peak of the pandemic as well. The coffee is also great, but I don’t order it often because I’m obsessed with the matcha. My husband usually gets the coffee, though, and is never disappointed. The treats are also so yummy, the rice krispy treat is a favorite, which I’d never have expected, but seriously, it’s so good. The people are also so lovely! The space is light and peaceful. Can’t recommend enough!! (Side note, not sure why all these great reviews only give 3 stars while noting how perfect everything was?!?!)

Beautiful little coffee shop with plenty of friendly staff and top notch coffee. The decor is fresh and light, seating is limited but it gives the place a roomy feel. There is some counter space and a few pew-style seats along the wall. Overall definitely worth going out of your way (if you're in the area) for some quality coffee.

Beautiful new Tribeca spot for coffee, tea, and incredible homemade pastries. Friendly, inviting atmosphere with several small tables where you can sit and catch up / enjoy coffee. Clean, modern aesthetic with marble, white and gold accents. The coffee and matcha are wonderful and quality - especially love the “flash brew” coffee which is hot coffee flash chilled and poured over ice. The pastries and sweets are baked in house every morning and super creative. I’ve tried the blueberry maple muffin and the savory scone (broccoli / cheese), both are delicious. Highly recommend stopping in to visit while it’s new and lines are shorter! Matcha Tonic is also great - refreshing and different.

Amazing. Great service and Matcha. The place has a super clean and minimal, yet warm design. Hard to achieve, and they nailed it. My wife and I were sitting for a long time and one of the staff brought us complementary water with ice, SO NICE! This kind of touch is what separates the good from the great. Thanks, Interlude!

Sleek and minimalist spot with a few outdoor and indoor seating. Lots of natural lighting and overall peaceful vibes. The matcha americano drink was nice.

Pluses: good selection of teas (not just coffee), they take matcha seriously, the pastries are good, the minimalistic design with oriental vibe. Minuses: the ceremonial matcha is $15 and it was only a half cup shot. I normally get ceremonial matcha for less than 9$ around NYC. For this price it could have been served in a nice ceramic cup not a paper one. Not much choice of vegan baked goods.

Cozy and chill place that you may stay a little bit to enjoy your own time. (But no restroom, just a reminder for ya.) everything was slightly expensive. Their coffee were on the mid-light side which tasted more sour and fruity. Scone was not a classic style, but the honey butter one was good. Cookie was… ok? It had a chewy texture but not crunchy. Good but not the first choice I’ll say.

Nice sunshine in lower manhattan, but the ice tea included too much ice, I can barely taste the tea

review for matcha only - got an iced matcha latte and it was incredibly disappointing. they skimped on the matcha so it was really more like milk with a bit of green coloring. i also had honey as a sweetener which was just spread over the inside of the cup so it was really hard to mix with my drink (let alone it being mixed in to begin with).

Matcha wasn’t strong enough at all despite the color being pretty green

Iced matcha latte was mediocre and tasted quite watered down. I wouldn't have been as disappointed if it wasn't called the "best matcha in Tribeca," which it clearly was not.
