Señor Tequila

Living in a small rural town there are not a lot of options to go out to eat, but when my family does get to, we always choose Senior Tequila. They have phenomenal authentic Mexican food. The staff is so kind and they really take good care of you.

The owner and staff were so hospitable and courteous and the food was so good. They accommodated our large family so well and made us feel very welcome in their small town. I think that we tried every kind of taco that they had and every single one was impressively tasty! They even have Jarritos and Mexican Cokes to top it off. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Very good restaurant. Every previous positive review was spot-on. If you want a Mexican restaurant with mariachi bands and lots of cheddar cheese, stay away. If you appreciate home-made Mexican staples like tacos, replenish and tortas, give the Senor a shot.

Great food and nice stop on our way to Reno. We had burrito, tacos and guacamole. Medium burrito was a good sized portion and very tasty. Chicken taco had lots of meat. Al pastor taco had excellent flavor. Really liked the chunky guacamole; I think I'll start making it that way at home. Very fresh ingredients . Clean facilities. Will stop again when we're back this way.

Delicious food! We found this little family owned restaurant on a drive from Klamath Falls to Reno. We were hungry, stopped in. The food is authentic with local-ish ingredients, and very very tasty. Family owns small business and we will definitely eat here again as we drive back through.

This was the BEST Mexican food I have had for a long time! They were extremely friendly and kind. The food was delicious and authentic. The restaurant itself was cute, clean and tidy. I would highly recommend eating here any time you are in town.

We chose wisely of three choices for food in Tulelake. Service was great. Place is clean and the food was delicious. We had chicken enchiladas and the pork chop special. Will try the shrimp cocktail next time. It was highly recommended.

Delicious homemade tortillas and wonderful burritos! We had a chicken burrito that had a really great taste and wonderful spice, and the shrimp burrito which was also delicious, although a little less spicy. Added some hot sauce and it was perfect! Great place to stop on a road trip!

This place is sooooo FREAKING GOOD. If you are passing through you have to stop here. I ordered the shrimp burrito and veggie burrito and it was so perfect and delicious. Big portions and great prices. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. 100 percent recommend this spot!

Everything here is homemade by the Abuelas in the kitchen. Hand made tortillas are excellent. Chips and salsa also excellent. Great authentic flavors and great value too. High quality food. Good fast service. Nice people.

We started going here and have told so many people about it because the food is amazing!! The owners are very nice and great customer service. We have went twice this week and I am already wanting to go back!

You want a team that works hard at providing the best Mexican food around? This is the place! Roger and his team take immense pride in providing the most mouth watering food and comfortable dining experience possible. Even when these guys get slammed, food still arrives quickly with all the attention to quality anybody could expect. Don't take my word for it just because I'm a local, look at all the other reviews from people who make this place part of their travels when they pass by the town that is Tulelake.

Family owned and operated with authentic Mexican food. Simply the best handmade from scratch tortillas. Very attentive and concerned about our needs. I want to go back when they obtain their liquor license as the drink I had will be amazing with some good tequila. I will be back the next time I travel through. Please support this business as they deserve to succeed.

Delicious handmade corn tortillas and the horchata is fantastic! I will be sure to come back here whenever I drive through this area! It also doesn't hurt that their chips taste fresh and salsa is top notch.

Great eficcient customer service and not expensive at all had there carne asada and also the grilled chicken chorizo plate with melted queso on top very satisfied with everything.

Great service. The food was very good. I ordered the camarones a la Diabla. They were very spicy I put some ketchup to help with the spice. I would definitely order them again.

In an area where any restaurant is hard to find, sits this little gem of a family Mexican restaurant. Don't hold the location against them, however; Senor Tequila could hold its own in any large city! The food is outstanding! The service is just enough. Someone, likely a family member, is there if you need them, but they are not constantly interrupting your conversation. Prices are just right for the area. Honestly, staying afloat in this rural area can't be easy, but the quality of the food, excellence of the menu, and hometown ambiance makes it the easy number one choice for locals and passers-by alike, those who know it is there, at any rate. I would confidently recommend Senor Tequila to anyone who loves Mexican food. Look out for their green sauce, though, unless you like it spicy! For whimps like me, salsa roja is the way to go!

Surprisingly good, after a day of caving in the lava beds national park eating here was the best; the atmosphere felt very hom-y, the food was delicious and the service was even better. We had the Tequila Special, choriqueso and the mariscada which had a lot of seafood :) Highly recommended

Living in this town and having a restaurant such as this is incredible. It has never ceased to please my food cravings. The meals are delicious and affordable at that. Not only that, but they have chicken strips if you aren't a fan of Mexican food. I recommend stopping by if you're passing through.

What a hidden gem! Having lived in Southern California my whole life and being spoiled by an abundance of tasty Mexican food, Señor Tequila has some of the BEST Mexican I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the chile verde! The pork is super flavorful and soft and the chile is *chef’s kiss* I literally felt like I was eating my mom’s food, I couldn’t believe it. The rice and beans were delicious too. If you’re ever in the area, I HIGHLY suggest you stop by and grab something to eat here.

Friendly service. Excellent food. Not your standard freezer to fryer fare here! They hand rolled the flautas to order. Dude, does your grandma cook here ‘cause this food is good❤️ Worth stopping for! We ordered: Burrito Supreme, Chicken Flautas and Pollo Loco. Whole family was happy!

I love this place! Downtown Tulelake is the last place I expected to find great food. Nothing fancy, just big smiles and a happy atmosphere. I highly recommend the street tacos. Excellent!

Great little place with tasty food! Me and my wife were so hungry and found this place to be quite enjoyable...the man taking our orders was very nice and conversational. There salsa they bring out with the chips is pretty legit as well! Definitely recommend stopping by if you are close. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they can't serve liquor lol other than that 5 stars.

Well, they don't actually have tequila, so that was misleading. It doesn't really make sense to me, but ok. They also did not have prices on their menu, which was off-putting. We left without ordering anything.

The food we had seemed dated to what Mexican restaurants offer. With that said Great service. I would suggest if you like 80s and 90s Mexican food this is your spot.

More employees than customers there on a Saturday at 12:30pm, they took 25 minutes to make 4 soft shelled tacos. My fish tacos were grilled and flavorful. My wife's shrimp tacos were too salty for her taste. The tortillas were about 5 inches in diameter and overflowed with cilantro, cabbage, and fish. There's a self-serve fridge with soft drinks and beer (no Tequila). The nearby city park was a peaceful place to eat our takeout order with giant oaks for shade and an irrigated lawn in this apparently deserted town.

I recommend the ala carte carne asada street tacos. I wasn't satisfied with my Huevos Mexicano scramble. It had a chorizo taste even though there isn't any chorizo in the description on the menu. I'm almost certain my dish was scrambled in chorizo fat. I'm not a vegetarian, so I finished my meal.

I recommend the ala carte carne asada street tacos. I wasn't satisfied with my Huevos Mexicano scramble. It had a chorizo taste even though there isn't any chorizo in the description on the menu. I'm almost certain my dish was scrambled in chorizo fat. I'm not a vegetarian, so I finished my meal.

I don't get it. Everyone raves like children at recess about this place but it's literally the worst Mexican food I've ever had. And this is in an area populated with so many of some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. And I used to live in New Mexico.
