Una opción rápida cuando estás de paso por Tulum. Los tacos están muy buenos, pedí dos de pollo y dos vegetarianos por un total de 100 mxn.
Antojitos La Chiapaneca es de esos lugares que no necesitan anunciarse con fuegos artificiales para ganarse un lugar en tu memoria. Ubicado en el centro de Tulum, este espacio sencillo y sin pretensiones ofrece comida yucateca auténtica, hecha con cariño y tradición. Fui a cenar y probé salbutes y panuchos de pollo, res y carne molida. Todos estaban buenísimos. Los sabores son caseros, honestos, directos. Nada está disfrazado ni recargado: aquí todo es lo que parece, y eso se agradece. Las tortillas se sienten frescas, los ingredientes bien preparados, y el sazón es justo el que uno espera cuando busca una experiencia local de verdad. La carne molida, en particular, fue una grata sorpresa: jugosa, sabrosa y muy bien acompañada con sus respectivos vegetales y salsas. El pollo también estaba bien sazonado y suave, y la carne de res tenía ese sabor clásico que remite a cocina de casa. El lugar es bastante relajado, con mesas sencillas y un ambiente muy local. Es ideal si buscas comer rico sin gastar mucho ni entrar en la onda “instagramera” de Tulum. Aquí se viene a disfrutar del sabor y la tradición, sin poses. En resumen, Antojitos La Chiapaneca es una parada obligada si quieres cenar auténtico, sabroso y sin complicaciones. No esperes lujos ni decoración fancy, pero sí una experiencia muy real, rica y reconfortante. Volvería sin pensarlo.
Es un lugar bastante popular y sorprendentemente con unos precios bastante accesibles, se encuentra en la avenida principal de Tulum a muy pocos pasos de la terminal de ADO lo que la hace un lugar perfectamente funcional y que se agradece exista en ese lugar. La atención es bastante buena en lugares espacioso tiene mesas tanto en la parte de afuera sobre la banqueta como en la parte de adentro, no esperes lujo pero sí amabilidad a la hora de ser atendido además de buen sabor en sus platillos. Yo pedí tacos de asada, así como de pastor también pedí una tostada chiapaneca y una empanada rellena de asada y de queso, todo acompañado con un agua de horchata todo lo anterior con un muy buen sabor.

Fuimos a este lugar empujados por las opiniones y las Review existentes y la verdad que no fallaron. Restaurante muy lindo con las paredes pintadas y mucho colorido donde se puede disfrutar de comida típica mexicana. Además aquí van a comer extranjeros y también nacionales con lo que puedan una idea de su calidad, se puede comer al restaurante o comida para llevar. Los camareros son amables, buen producto y precio competitivo. Recomiendo tacos al pastor y pote.

Es un lugar que debes de visitar para que disfrutes de sus ricos taquitos, gringas, panuchos, tortas, empanadas, salbutes, etc. Son muy amables y sus precios son buenísimos, encuentras donde estacionar tu vehículo por fuera del negocio, muy recomendable.
Su fama está justificada, muy buena comida a muy buen precio. Dentro encontrarás tanto a locales como extranjeros comiendo. Tiene muchas opciones para elegir de comida típica mexicana, y también varias opciones de bebidas. Se puede aparcar en la misma calle, yo en dos ocasiones pude aparcar en la misma puerta. El servicio es rápido y atento.
Se come rico, muy económico, super recomendado, si te quieres hacer una idea,por ejemplo, los tacos valen 15 pesos delicioso
Es muy bueno excekente ubicacion. Comida rica. Nada caro para ser tulum. Les recomendaria poner musica en vivo y esto jalaria mas gente porque es muy local y mas turismo vendria. Mucho mas.
Precios imbatibles para Tulum. Tacos pastor y de carne de res deliciosos. Agua de Jamaica, cervezas varias, guacamole (que vienen con tacos), todo maravilloso. Volveríamos.

Pésima atención. Tardaron en pasarnos a una mesa y en cuanto nos pasaron nos olvidaron sin tomarnos la orden, pasaron a otra mesa después de nosotros y a ellos de inmediato se la tomaron. Les recomiendo que no vayan a comer ahí.
I’ve been to tulum a few times and just found this hidden gem. Prices, quality, service are all outstanding. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone that wants real Mexican food without the outrageous tulum prices! Would definitely recommend
This was our first food stop in Tulum. Slow roasted Al Pastor is cut fresh off the spit. Great menu, super great prices, we had to come back a second time. The nachos are huge. Great for sharing.
La Chiapaneca is a great place with delicious food at very good prices. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Definitely worth trying — highly recommended! 🌮👌

Simply the best in Tulum. It’s popular for a reason. I’ve tried 10+ places this week and the al pastor here is always my favorite. I’ve been coming here for 5+ years at their old location, and I was worried when I saw they moved. I was happy to find that the tacos are just as good, if not better at the new location! Their back garden area is very nice
Probably the best tacos I’ve tasted in Tulum. They have a big courtyard at the back of the restaurant and even though they have 4 options beef, pork, chicken & vegetarian they all taste so different based on the bread you have it with. My favorite was the asada tacos, there was a slice of grilled pineapple which made it burst with flavors!

This restaurant is towards the end of the main road that goes through Tulum. This is a must go to spot for people who love Al pastor (pork) in any vessel! The flame spit in the front roasts the pork fresh. We ordered an Al pastor torta, pollo and asada salbutes, al pastor tacos, Al pastor tostadas, guacamole, and some Jamaica juice. The star of the show is the pork! While the chicken and beef were also good, we kept ordering more Al pastor in different forms and even ended up buying the pastor by the kilo to bring some back to our hotel! The green and red salsas have great flavor, with the red one having a great kick from the habanero peppers. There is also a small salad bar for you to top your meal with onions, cilantro, radishes, or cabbage. We are so happy we found this small little spot, and will be enjoying the 1 kg of pork we bought to go (which came with tortillas, salsa, and the fresh veggies).
If you choose one spot to get tacos in Tulum Puebla, make it here. The al pastor tacos were so flavourful and fresh, we particularly enjoyed the added sauces and being able to choose fresh toppings to add to it. This was our first time trying micheladas and we highly recommend!
Really solid tacos, especially for Tulum. Stop by for a few beers (50 pesos each) and 4 al pastor tacos (20 pesos each) and hang out for a bit in their back courtyard. Staff is very friendly and attentive, but I do recommend looking up a few Spanish phrases to make your visit a little more seamless.
I first discovered Taquería La Chiapaneca two years ago while staying in Tulum, and I was so excited to return in 2025. This place is absolutely fantastic! They’ve moved to a new location, which now has a beautiful inner yard where you can enjoy your food outdoors in a relaxed setting. The menu is available in both Spanish and English, so ordering is easy even if you don’t speak Spanish. They offer a great variety of beers, plus sodas and water, and the prices are very reasonable and affordable. I truly love this place and will definitely come back whenever I’m in Tulum. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic tacos and a great atmosphere!
5 delicious tacos for 70 pesos! Amazingly filling and very tasty for the best price I have found so far! I ate one in the pic. Ordinarily I would never eat pineapples with my chicken, but it was so scrumptious. I was full after eating 3 and continued eating the rest, because I couldn’t help it. Lol

Great authentic place! This place wasn’t touristy and definitely felt like a local neighborhood restaurant. The tacos were really good from the ones that we got. Also very inexpensive. I would definitely go back here again.
hands down 5 star favorite taco place. It’s not about the price. Even if they are 30 each I still think it’s one of the best place in town. Fast service, friendly staff, street seating is really cute. Love the salad bar. Hands down best in town. Do not miss this place. And if you go, go twice. Their pickled pepper is second to none. I ate here 4 times and each time happier.
Excelente lugar para no extrañar los tacos de la CDMX, aunque faltan los de tripa, el sabor y variedad en sus platillos son muy buenos. Los precios muy accesibles y super atendidos .
Rica comida mexicana. El pastor tiene un sazón especial. Está rico y hay variedad. La masa de los salbuts está muy buena. Las salsas les dan in gran sabor. A pesar de estar súper lleno, son muy atentos y hay buen trato. El precio esta súper bien, el lugar es grande.
Un lugar barato y concurrido en el centro de Tulum. La carne no es de la mejor calidad pero el sabor es bueno. Los tacos de al pastor cuestan $10, la cerveza $25. Recomiendo si quieres comer algo local, rico y rápido.
Cool taco spot! They have vegetarian options for everything. We tried the al pastor tacos which were fantastic, and the vegetarian ones. Great prices for the tacos and very clean interior too!
He ido varias veces a comer los taquitos y e gustan pero en esta última ocasión me negó la chica mesera el menú me dijo que solo tenía de res cuando a los de la mesa de alado les ofreció el menú porque eran extranjeros eso sí que fue de mal gusto y con al sabor de boca, que pena que no traten al local ya que cuando no hay turistas los locales somos los que frecuentamos sus puestos 😓
Unbeatable prices for Tulum. The Tacos al Pastor were really good, but we can’t recommend the beef ones. It was quite busy, and the staff could have been more attentive – we had to wait quite a while and were seated right next to the restroom. Probably better for takeout.
Todo mal. Llegamos y tardaron en atendernos. Pedimos algo y nos trajeron otra cosa. Nos quisieron cobrar lo que quisieron. La comida no es rica. Si sos extranjero NO pienses que vas a comer un taco mexicano acá.
La verdad que los tacos muy simples, la carne asada no sabemos de qué animal sea 🐶, los condimentos muy malos, salsas aguadas, la quesadilla con quesillo sin sabor. El servicio pésimo y hasta la cuenta la suman mal. Honestly, very popular but terrible quality of food and service, you get what you paid for, dollar taco.
Don’t eat here, got food poisoning. They must have bad higiene wile prepping the food or past due ingredientes. This is a BIG TOURIST TRAP!!
Was really bummed by our experience here tonight. We did a large takeout order for our group of 6. Not only did we find 3 black hairs in one of our items, the guacamole they gave us was brown, and they forgot our empanadas order. Super disappointed. After we found the hairs we couldn’t eat anything more. One hair can happen- but we found 3. Only took a pic of the last one, after throwing the other ones away. Hate to leave such a bad review, this was multiple errors…
