This restaurant, beautifully located in the stunning Hotel Muaré, offered a memorable dining experience. The food was fresh, flavourful, and masterfully combined ingredients. The experience was made all the better by friendly, attentive staff, which elevated the entire dining experience, making it thoroughly enjoyable. This restaurant was also dog friendly, and the staff were very kind and considerate of our four legged friend.

I will never be tired to repeat that this place is the most beautiful in Tulum. I can not give any bad comment even if I wanted. It is a hidden gem. When I came here on the first evening, it was too late and the kitchen was closing. The receptionist was very sorry about that. He was so welcoming and nice. He recommended another restaurant, which is very kind of him. I decided to come back here again on the next evening, because I loved Gaudea at first sight. Everything is perfect here. The food, the service, the ambience. There is a nice view around the restaurant perfectly designed. The whole scenery is surrounded by cozy houses and trees in the background. Such a peaceful and balanced place that preserves the nature while being modern and confortable at the same time. For sure, very classy and chic. I also appreciated a nice selection of music, that was not too loud. It is very important, because we are all looking for a quiet place. The drinks and food were very delicious, prepared with love and passion, which is very difficult to find in Tulum. It is obvious that the employees of Gaudea are happy with their position and they do like their profession and give a lot of efforts to please their clients. I would like to thank sincerely the whole team of Gaudea for creating such a beautiful place and maintaining its high-quality level. You make part of my best memories of Tulum :-)

What an amazing place!! Beautiful small restaurant overlooking the pool and garden. We had a romantic candle lit relaxing dinner. Amazing taste in decoration as well. Very friendly staff with a unique vibe. Food was also really good - fresh and tasty mexican with a little twist. 10/10 experience! Just wished for them they had more reviews already so more people would know about this place.

Everything about this restaurant was perfect! We liked it so much that we had visited it two times in a 3 day visit to Tulum. 😊 We actually didn’t know what to expect because we chose restaurant on the basis that it was walking distance to our Airbnb, but when we walked through the gates we were blown away by it’s absolutely stunning ambiance. So very romantic and peaceful. The food was also incredibly delicious - we had beef and shrimp tacos, ceviche, burger with fries, tuna burger - everything we tried was superb. The service was also outstanding - friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special night out without exorbitant prices.

Perdus au milieu de la jungle, nous sommes tombés sur un hôtel. Magnifique. L’atmosphère qui se dégage de cet endroit est semblable à un paradis. Nous n’avons pas eu besoin de réserver, étant en basse saison ça nous a rendu la tâche plus facile, et l’endroit était pour le coup désert. Nous avons donc décidé d’y manger le soir même. Le restaurant est proche des zones touristiques et des hôtels, ce qui, pour nous touristes, est une aubaine. Certes les prix sont élevés, mais le cadre se paye. Les plats que nous avons pu tester (pâtes et gnocchis) étaient excellents. Testez les pâtes à la sauce huitlacoche ça en vaut la peine ! Le personnel a été très sympathique et très attentionné. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Anoche fui a cenar a Gaudea y para esto nos habían reservado una mesa cercana a la fogata que se me hizo de lo más lindo. La atención muy buena y siempre atentos, nos recibieron con lindas sonrisas. Todo lo que ordenamos nos gustó en cuanto a sabor y presentación. Empezamos con un platillo sencillo, vegetales a la parrilla con romesco el cual a mi me gustó bastante pero lo que nos encantó fue el pulpo frito con esquites. El sabor del epazote y la trufa dieron un bonito balance al platillo. La cocción del pulpo perfecta, crispy por fuera y suave por dentro. La presentación de las bebidas muy lindas, se nota la calidad en cada detalle desde la garnitura hasta en el hielo, y digo el hielo porque no todos te sirven un Negroni en un buen hielo. Muchas gracias Chef Julio por la atención y el empeño a su trabajo, se nota el amor que le tiene a la cocina. Igual a Daniel en barra que amablemente me preparó una bebida off the menu, el salty dog de gin con mermelada de piña y jengibre hecha en casa me abrió bastante el apetito para poder deleitar la cena. Gracias a Nico y a Nidia por su atención tan cálida, nos sentimos apapachados y con ganas de volver.

Food was amazing, atmosphere beautiful but unfortunately service was bad. We waited 40 mins for a table (they weren’t busy at all) then we waited another 40 mins for food and they messed up the order, didn’t offer anything and proceeded to charge $150 pesos for water which is $10 for water … after messing up our dinner. Anyways, great place but bad service. Also, I had medicine on my plate and I don’t know why someone picked up my plate and I lost my medicine. Portion was very small of food as well and expensive but tasted amazing.

We spent more than $50usd on 2 lattes, one slice of avo toast and the tiny smoothie bowl.
