Large portions, reasonable price, spacious and service is attentive
Not gonna lie this food was amazing and the tacos are not some tiny bs u can eat in one bite. Guac was super fresh and the place had good vibes. Tamales on point. Def going back 🤜🤛
2025 update. They have a buffet and price is now $15. They don't have a golden Corral selection but it's still definitely worth the price. 100% cheaper than el paso grande If only feeding yourself or your date. Food is amazing. Can't get enough of their tortas here. Yea a little steep in price but can get a full meal here for $14-$18 dollars or go to McDonald's, Arby's or Wendy's and spend $14-$18 there too just for one meal too. I recommend least trying it out.
excellent service the food is delicious and the waiter is very friendly knows a lot about everything a little explains I like this place 😉
My new favorite Mexican restaurant! Big portions, good price! The owner always takes good care of us! Thank you!
My friend and I ordered 3 steak tacos with avocado, cilantro, onion, and sour cream. The food was delicious, and the price was okay. We also enjoyed our chips and salsa. I will be back soon,
They have a neat selection of food to choose from in the buffet. I loved the steak in green salsa, the beans and the tamales
Mi rancho is delicious! The Al pastor burrito is my favorite and its nicely seasoned, just the right amount of greasy! I usually feel like a Mexican restaurant's rice and beans are a good indicator of its quality and theirs are fire 🔥
Discovering Mi Rancho was like finding a diamond in the rough. The strip that it's in doesn't face the road and you wouldn't expect anything to be back there, but what is there is my favorite Mexican food place in Oswego. The food is good, the folks who work there are lovely people, and they just added a buffet! The buffet was an interesting new experience. They had Mexican standbys like beans, rice, mole, and fresh fruit, as well as stuff I wouldn't expect like taquitos and meatballs! The server also brought us taco meat and warm tortillas upon request, which was delicious and let us build our own tacos right at the table! He also brought us out a small bowl of spaghetti to try, which was honestly much better than I expected. If you're in the area and want authentic Mexican food, Mi Rancho is a must. It's the classic food you know in a comfortable setting.
Pastor burrito was a fantastically greasy, savory indulgence. Very pleased they gave us plenty of salsa in bottles to use generously on all the food, that's A+ for a Mexican restaurant. Tortilla chips were a little thicker than I prefer, but overall a satisfying meal. Would definitely consider coming back if I'm ever in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way - just a little too pricey for the portion. But they have plenty of options on the menu, so I'm open to it. I shan't levy my Indiana prejudices against the higher pricing of Illinois at the door of Mi Rancho, but I'd be hard pressed to pay more than $12 for a burrito dinner again, even in this economy.
Such a great hole in the wall Mexican/American place to eat. Small inside. Plenty of food. Service was good not a lot of tables. Sears maybe 60 I would go back again. Warm inside. You use the door closest to the kitchen to enter so diners don’t get cold from that door opening.
Very nice place with a wonderful staff. My wifes steak fajitas were abdolutely amazing! I had a burrito there that was pretty decent for rhe price just needed more seasoning to be honest. Was 12-20 dollars a person depending what you order. But I must say I was very impressed by the fajitas. Great onion absorbed tender steak🙏
Very nice people over the years I've visited this establishment under different names and owners, with each visit it has gotten better over time. The food is good, great service with a clean facility. Why go to taco bell when you can have the real thing 🤔
Be ready to pay high prices. Nice small family business. They have a great selection of candies, desserts, drinks, and food. However if it wasn't for the tepache that they sell, I would not plan in going back. I understand food prices are going up and all but they went to the extreme. I didn't mind paying one time just to try. However, I would not eat frequently there. Way too pricey for what it is.
Nothing like taking a bite out of my chicken burrito and biting into a 2 inch metal strand of something!!!!!! Unacceptable, immediately stopped eating my food and told management, who apologized of course, still charged us, and now I will never be back because of that!
Tbh I gave this place alots of changes my rice smelled expired beans to and my tacos way to greasy and wanted give me store credit sorry sr I don't want get food poisoning I threw up what I ate
