We live in San Francisco and were visiting Turlock when friends recommended David’z Tacos — and wow, they were absolutely right! This was hands down the best tacos we’ve eaten outside of Mexico City. • The Al Pastor meat was my favorite — perfectly seasoned and cooked. • The chalupas and soft tacos were just excellent. • We loved the little area where the truck is parked — it adds to the charm and makes the experience even better. The food was so good that we ended up eating here three nights in a row. That probably says it all! We really hope David’z Tacos continues to thrive and maybe even expands someday. Honestly, we’d consider making a special trip from SF back to Turlock just for these tacos. 🌮🔥

Taco truck food quality in Turlock has gone downhill at a lot of places, and I was honestly starting to lose hope. Then David’s Tacos came to town. The prices are great, the food is consistently solid, and the customer service is outstanding. I had a mix-up with an online order on a day they weren’t open and was still charged. When I called, they got back to me within five minutes, explained exactly what happened, and made it right without any hassle. That kind of responsiveness says a lot about how much they care about their customers. Because of that experience alone, I’m a loyal David’s Tacos fan. I actually had this today and it was fire. I came here once before and i was still amazed 👏 the chalupa was good. I had the chicano which i really loved. Anything in a flour tortilla is bomb . I do prefer regular tacos over the street ones but thats just a personal preference . The salsa are bomb. The jalapeños aren't spicy and i like that bc i actually ate them 😋. I also love that the whole family is in the business. They also have the tres jefes taco truck so if you like them, you will definitely like davidz

We go out of our way to go to Turlock for their burriots. The meat is great quality, and no weird textures. The carne asada is BOMB. 👌 Their food truck is at a lot with some public tables which is very convenient. The area is quite neat.

The service was good, and fast. The tacos and chalupa were really good. But the sauce was disappointing, it tasted sweet. Kind of like ketchup. I get that some people like mild sauce but they should have a spicy sauce as variety. Also the lemons I got had no juice.

Best burrito supreme in town! Only negatives would be sometimes having issues with service. Personally, I was waiting in the pickup line, then a new customer comes and orders. Wasn't recognized until after that customer was helped, so my time was wasted even though my order was already ready prior to the new costumer, I guess stand in the order line not the pickup line even if your coming for pickup so you don't get looked over and have time wasted

Good food, but attention to special requests needs improvement. I’ve ordered from here a few times, and the food is consistently tasty. However, I’ve noticed that special instructions often get ignored. For example, I recently asked for no salsa on the tacos since they were for my child, and also requested some sides I was happy to pay for. Unfortunately, the tacos still came with salsa, and the sides were missing. It seems like the kitchen or whoever handles the order slips isn’t always careful with the details. I’d love to keep coming back, but it would really help if they could pay more attention to custom requests!

They need to fix the online ordering process. When you place an order online and pay for the food, they don’t actual make the food till you show up. So waiting 20-30 minutes for food to be ready for pick up actually turns into waiting another 20-30 minutes there for it to be made… which makes ordering online pointless.

Don’t go here!!!!Disappointed didn’t get our order correct the burritos were not supreme and we asked for no salsa on one only and they didn’t put salsa on all three , the burritos were labeled incorrect and we asked for 4 chipotle sauce they only gave us 1 I called them they said we only got charged you for 1 but that’s besides the point…..the point is they didn’t get or order correct.
