Patogh Restaurant Turlock Reviews
Eating at this restaurant is always a very pleasant experience. The service is excellent, the food is extremely tasty, the place is beautiful and cozy. The food dishes bring a great amount, which makes this place even better. I recommend it 100%.
First time in here. Food great Services great Location great Place great I will be back again. Good job and thank you.
Hands down the best chicken kabob plate I’ve had in Turlock! The meat was tender and juicy! Their hummus with a slight kick of spice was phenomenal! Jimmy waited on us and was pleasant, welcoming, and absolutely awesome and a pleasure to interact with. The service was fast and the ambiance friendly, casual and welcoming (especially with kids). We will definitely be back for more Turkish coffee and baklava (truly recommend) :) !!!!
So happy I stumbled across this gem. The owners showed so much hospitality. The dishes were beautifully plated and delicious. Will definitely be returning!!
Wonderful, such a pleasure being there. Service was informative, and she made excellent recommendations. Fresh food, with such flavor. Welcoming spot to enjoy a quiet dinner with friends or family, or business meeting. We tasted so much, I forgot to take pictures of everything. Delicious!
Husband and I are visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 so our friends who live in Los Banos drove us out to this restaurant because of its delicious food. We ordered the koobideh entrees and hummus dish as an appetizer. Our food had flavours that were “spot on”, was served hot, fresh and timely. Owners were friendly and caring. Atmosphere was refreshing, open and modernized. Their deco wall was very cool ⭐️! Definitely coming here again.
Food came out nice and hot. Didn't have to wait crazy long. I got the koobideh and baklava. Koobideh has a very nice flavor and the baklava is good/unique. The waitress was very friendly too Definitely coming back
I had a wonderful experience here with my mom, and besides the food being wonderful, the staff were wonderful too. I had kashk-e badamjan, dolma, beef soltani, and zereshk polo. The dolma (a filling wrapped in grape leaves and stewed) were my mom's favorite and I loved the kashk-e badamjan (an eggplant dip made with dried, fried mint, fried onions, and topped with keshk, which is a salty fermented whey product, a Persian analog to yogurt). The beef soltani, which is tri-tip and koobideh (ground meat formed around a skewer and cooked) was very yummy and very generous. The chicken was perfectly cooked in the zereshk polo (a dish made with saffron and burberries - somewhat like a dried cranberry, sour and sweet) and very tender and juicy. .The service was on point as well. It was really soooo good. It's an awesome surprise to find such good Persian food in the valley!
Updated with written review: I am Armenian, my wife is Assyrian. One of the best kabob places we have ever tried (Top 3), easily up there with Mini kabob in Glendale, not fair to compare as both have different products. Their Soltani is the best I have had. Good portions, good prices, great atmosphere. Will stop here during every road trip I take.
We had a great dinner here. Started with kashke bademjan and garlicky hummus. Then 3 of us shared a lamb shank, kubbideh, and chicken skewer with rice seasoned with barberries (kind of like small dried cranberries, but more delicate taste). The lamb could be cut with a fork, very tender and delicious.
They are so kind and friendly. I love the lady who serves us. She is knowledgeable about the food.
Wonderful place. Very clean, quiet, cozy. We were greeted very warmly and fed very tasty! Quality and service - super! Thank you very much!
SO GOOD! Really nice atmosphere and staff was super friendly. Would recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. The service was impeccable, attentive without being overbearing. Every member of the staff I interacted with carried a genuine warmth that made the entire experience feel special. Food is excellent. The flavors were layered and memorable, the portions generous without being overwhelming, and the presentation beautiful in its simplicity. This is the kind of place you want to share with loved ones. I cannot wait to return.

This place was really good. Everything we had was full of flavor. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The Gyro sandwich was fresh and savory. Heck even the water was good. I will definitely return and now I can add Persian food to my list.

Used to be so good. I’m not sure what happened. The ingredients were not fresh, for example, lettuce was wilted, walnuts were frozen and chewy, bread was stale. You could tell that the bread had been previously frozen. Such a disappointment because the bread used to be so good here. Yogurt was watery without flavor and hummus was not like true Middle Eastern hummus. Meat was also way too spicy. Our drinks were never refilled. Hope there is improvement in quality of ingredients.
