This was the best meal I’ve ever had, and let me break it down for you: Upon opening the menu, I was met with a delightful assortment of choices, all 50% off. This place does not know the rule of quantity over quality, but rather follows a different one: quantity AND quality. I ordered the volcano roll, the spider roll, and the onion blossom roll. All three were a symphony to my tongue, and my life is forever changed. Not to mention, the quick, professional service, combined with a special disco experience for peoples’ birthdays. Thank you, Sake 2 Me Sushi, I will be back hungry for more.
50%off The dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic! From the service to the food, every detail was satisfying. Our server, Pedro, was very friendly, attentive, and efficient in bringing out the dishes. As for the food, the Premium Sashimi (12PCS) was definitely the highlight—extremely fresh, melt-in-your-mouth, and absolutely delicious. The Cajun Albacore Roll was also amazing, perfectly seasoned with a hint of spice, making it a must-try. The Baked Crawfish Roll and BSCR Roll were equally impressive, delivering satisfying flavors in every bite. Among the appetizers, the Jalapeño Popper and Green Mussel had rich textures and bold flavors, while the Softshell Crab was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—a delightful surprise! What made the experience even better was the 50% OFF discount, making the meal incredibly affordable! Enjoying such high-quality food at such a great price is unbeatable. Whether for a casual gathering or a special dinner, this place is a top choice. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back!
I recently visited this local business and had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me find exactly what I needed. The space was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere that made browsing enjoyable. Prices were fair for the quality offered, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family.
I’ve been here 4 times now and we always come to celebrate someone’s birthday! It’s good sushi for a very affordable price and you don’t have to worry when splitting the bill in a big group. Their rolls are good and we usually only pick from the 50%off 😄 they turn off the lights to sing you a happy birthday song too, so it’s kinda cute and fun for pictures. Service has always been very courteous and friendly. They get pretty busy so a little wait is expected.
Sake2me Sushi is a hidden gem! The premium sashimi and sushi were incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth—top quality all around. The grilled squid was also a standout: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Great service, chill atmosphere, and generous portions make this spot a must-visit for sushi lovers. I’ll definitely be back!
I saw a lot of old comment back in years ago mention "all you can eat sushi," but this branch does not have all you can eat sushi I just want to let people know. The AYCE is in Newport Ave. Would I recommend new people to try this place out? Yes! But I wouldn't recommended my friends and family to eat here in special occasion. Don't get me wrong, the place is very decent, service is superb, and the owner care about customer opinion. The server put on a smile always and they are super patience. HOWEVER, personally, their dishes are not to die for not only for the quality but also the price. They have the 50% for sushi and rolls dishes, which at first glance make you think 2 piece of sushi for lower than 5 dollar and 5-8 piece per sushi roll for 5.95 and above are cheap. Arguably, the rolls are cheap in my opinion, but the sushi are not. You could have go to a conveyor belt sushi and get 2 pieces of sushi for less than 4 dollar, and the quality would be the same or even better. Their sushi are (I apologize to the chef and this is not an insult, just my personal experience after eating lots of sushi) very average, even the tamago sushi doesn't taste quite right. Also I couldn't help but feel like there was something wrong with the size of the 2 piece sushi portion. That alone make the 50% off feel very wrong. If you think about it, if 2 pieces per dish from conveyor belt cost lower than 4 bucks, and their sushi (after 50% off) also cost lower than $5-$4 bucks but with arguable quality, it just not make sense if the original price of their sushi is about $9-$10 per dishes. With that, I feel like the 50% off is a kinda like a scam. If you there for the rolls, I recommended wholeheartedly because of the cheap price after 50% off. If you want sushi, just go to conveyor belt one instead.
We came here for the AYCE sushi dinner (about $37 per person) and it was such a great value! The menu has a huge variety—most sushi, scallops, octopus, and different fish can be ordered multiple times, and we got full just from the first round. My personal favorites were the tempura eggplant and mushrooms, which were crispy and flavorful, along with the seared sushi (especially salmon belly, tuna belly, and scallops). The no-rice rolls with crab meat were also delicious and not heavy at all. We also enjoyed the appetizers like seaweed salad, miso soup, and marinated sashimi (limited but very fresh), plus the grilled mussels and scallop skewers were really tasty. Service was friendly and helpful, and the staff explained clearly which items had limits and how to order each round. Overall, for around $40 per person, this is an excellent spot for sushi lovers to enjoy a wide variety of dishes and leave completely satisfied!
Sake 2 Me, but hold the sake and let's talk sushi! Let's start with the main thing anyone who's familiar with Sake 2 Me is thinking... no all you can eat?? This location is not an all you can eat sushi spot; BUT they are 50% off sushi (including premium sushi), rolls, and hand rolls! I have been told that I eat an impressive amount of food; and how much food I ordered here compared to the AYCE location, the bill was about the same (I never ordered a la carte at the other location). The sushi was great for the price. The fish was fresh, the cuts were good, and premium selection was acceptable (no toro ). My only complaint was that the sushi rice would be better (usually the case for me with these kinds of sushi spots). Rolling onto the rolls. The rolls here are what you'd expect. Delicious and filling with a wide selection. I prefer sushi over rolls any day, but I always end up getting a couple of rolls because they look so good. I was pleasantly satisfied with my stomachs decision on getting some rolls.
The best affordable sushi I’ve ever had! The uni is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the salmon is soft and melts in your mouth. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious — and the prices are surprisingly good. Portions are generous, so you can eat well and leave feeling full and happy!
This is absolutely my favorite sushi place now. The quality of the sushi is amazing and the prices are even better! They have all sushi rolls 50% off which is a steal. I got 4 rolls, an appetiser, soup and drink for $51 and the fact the quality is so good, it can’t get any better I definitely recommend!!!
I randomly tried this sushi spot in Tustin and was pleasantly surprised! Many sushi rolls are half price, which made it super budget-friendly. We ordered a wide variety — uni, sweet shrimp, eel hand roll, baked craw fish roll, and more. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The place is clean, service is friendly, and the portions are generous. We were stuffed and still had leftovers. Around $40 per person — such a great deal. Highly recommended!
Went to Sake 2 Me Sushi – Tustin with the kids yesterday and had a really nice experience. The vibe is a bit dim, perfect for a casual drink and chat, and the sushi chefs at the bar were focused and professional. 🍣 Highlights: • Salmon Sashimi – fresh with pretty plating. • Rolls – larger than usual, generously filled. • Beef Udon – rich broth, tender meat, kid-approved. • Avocado Salad – light and refreshing. • Grilled Salmon Collar – crispy outside, tender inside, great with rice. ✨ Many items are half off, and four of us ate well for about $100 – good value for the quality and portions. Overall: cozy atmosphere, nice presentation, fair portions. A good spot for family dining and photos.
Heard there's a Japanese restaurant in Tustin offering sushi rolls at half price all day? As a money-saving pro, I had to check it out! Wow, this place not only has stunningly beautiful sushi rolls, but the taste and price are also incredibly surprising Perfect for photo-taking and hanging out with friends, I just want to share it with everyone after eating! The menu has two full pages of Rolls, with so many choices it's dizzying, and the best part is every single one is 50% OFF! If it weren't for my limited stomach capacity, I'd want to try them all Roll: Premium Trio: Thick slices of three types of fish, melting in the mouth with a sweet freshness Bluefin Tuna: Rich in fat, smooth like cream Uni: Sea urchin lovers rejoice, sweet and silky, super soothing Yuzu Albacore: Citrusy yuzu aroma + grilled white tuna, tangy and refreshing Dynamite Roll: Crab and shrimp for ultimate satisfaction, rich sauce Tustin Blossom: Fish + avocado, layers of flavor perfection Grilled Squid Crisp outside, tender inside, juicy and bouncy, paired with mayonnaise, so delicious I can't stop! New Recommendations 3 new items: Spicy BBQ Albacore Carpaccio / Spicy BBQ Albacore Roll / Cucumber Salad I tried the Spicy BBQ Albacore Carpaccio, tangy and spicy, love at first bite~ Sushi is discounted, but the appearance and taste are not compromised, this place is literally heaven for sushi lovers + a must-visit for deal hunters!
This sushi spot is absolutely incredible! The presentation of each roll is gorgeous—so colorful and creative—and everything tastes just as amazing as it looks. Every bite is packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. From the perfectly torched rolls to the spicy toppings and fresh salmon, it’s clear they take pride in quality and detail. I also love the variety on the menu—there’s something for everyone! The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re a sushi lover, this place is a must-visit. I’m definitely coming back to try even more rolls next time!
My kids kept talking about this place, so I relented and we went for dinner. Wow was the food awesome. What impressed me the most is the fish was super fresh, the dishes were very creative. Their taste pallets that they offer were very eclectic and modern to the traditional Japanese specialities. But probably the best thing of all is they have specials that were so much affordable than other places. If we had eaten at another restaurant of comparable quality, the food would easily been 2 to 3 times more in price. It’s no wonder this restaurant is crowded and there’s normally a wait to get in. But if you look at the line of people waiting, that’s just a testament to what good food, fresh food, and value this place offers. If you just look at the photos of their rolls, which are extremely creative and tasty, that says it all. I did notice that this place tends to attract a younger crowd of patron, but they were families groups of friends couples all enjoying the food. You gotta check out the photos and check this place out. I know you’ll be impressed just like I was. Judging by how crowded the places there are a lot of impressed customers there. And we all think it’s worth the weight.
We checked out Sake2Me Sushi in Tustin and it’s a solid spot if you like sushi but don’t want to spend a ton. Everything is 50% off all sushi and rolls, which is honestly a nice deal for the quality here. We tried the mackerel sushi, yellowtail sushi, spicy scallop roll, Sake2Me roll, firecracker roll, and Mexican handroll. The mackerel sushi and spicy scallop roll were probably my favorites of the night, the Mexican handroll was surprisingly good, and the Sake2Me roll is another one worth trying. Portions are good, the fish is fresh, and there’s enough variety to keep things interesting. It’s an easy spot for a casual dinner with friends, a date, or just trying a bunch of rolls without feeling like you spent too much.
Sake 2 Me Sushi is our go-to spot whenever we can’t decide what to eat—and it never disappoints! I highly recommend the Omakase Sushi Combo—everything is super fresh, which are always a treat. The sushi rolls and hand roll are 50% off, which makes it an amazing deal. They have a huge variety to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. Great food, great value, and always a solid choice for a family meal.
Took a friend to the airport in Irvine and found this sushi spot and did not disappoint me. Sushi and hand roll are 50% off which is not expensive. I came by myself and the server was really friendly. A lot of ppl came to celebrate their bday when on lunch time which surprised me. The atmosphere was great and would came again with friends.
The Omakase combo was a highlight, featuring incredibly fresh bluefin tuna and uni. The baked Dynamite Roll was rich and flavorful, and the yellowtail collar was perfectly grilled. Even the affordable lunch bento offered great value. Highlights include the fresh Omakase sushi, especially the scallop and salmon belly, and the unique Albacore Onion Chips. The baked Dynamite Roll was superb, and the yellowtail collar was a must-order grilled dish. Must-orders are the premium Omakase combo, the flavorful Dynamite bake roll, and the perfectly grilled yellowtail collar. The takoyaki and albacore sushi were also excellent starters.
We had dinner here the other night. There is so much parking available. The restaurant is charming and inviting. We got an order of mixed tempura. It was nice and crispy on the outside. So flavorful and delicious. We got an order of salmon collar. I love that you get two pieces instead of one piece at most restaurants. The salmon was moist and delicious. We also ordered a green goblin roll and a red goblin roll. Nigiri and rolls are always 50% off here. The green goblin has spicy crabmeat and cucumber on the inside and avocado and cilantro on the outside. It was delicious and very refreshing. The red goblin has spicy tuna on the inside and albacore, bbq sauce, crunchy garlic and red onion on the outside. The combination of flavors works so well together. We also ordered a Love Boat. It had nigiri, sashimi and a rainbow roll and an onion blossom albacore roll. It was so fresh and delicious. A wonderful meal with great food and friendly service.
It’s been a while since I went to the beach near Irvine, so I decided to make a perfect day out of it: sushi for lunch at Sake 2 Me Sushi (Tustin) and then catch the sunset by the ocean. 🌊🌇 This spot is an All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushi restaurant, and it totally lives up to the hype: • Generous portions: the fish slices are so thick they literally cover the rice. • Great value: fresh quality with big cuts, but still very affordable compared to many other places in SoCal. • Wide selection: classic sashimi, nigiri, creative rolls, plus miso soup and salad — all well-prepared. • Fast service: food comes out quickly, which is great for group dining. • Casual vibes: warm wooden interior, works for both friends’ gatherings and date nights. ✨ Must-try dishes: • Sashimi platter: super fresh and thick cuts — very satisfying. • Sushi platter: variety of fish in one go, generous portions. • Specialty rolls: creative and flavorful. • Seared salmon: with a touch of lemon, perfectly balances out the richness. 👉 Overall: This place is basically a “sushi heaven” for anyone who loves AYCE. Fresh fish, tons of choices, great value — no wonder it’s such a popular spot in Tustin. Pair it with a beach sunset afterward, and you’ve got yourself the perfect SoCal day. 💛
This spot is SUCH a gem in Tustin and 50% OFF Sushi menu was honestly a nice find for us, while out shopping we were craving sushi, and stumbled across Sake 2 Me. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so warm and welcoming, the vibe alone makes you want to stay awhile. Perfect for lunch, dinner, date nights, lunch dates, or even a cute girls’ sushi date. It really works for every mood. We ordered the Love Boat, Beauty & the Beast Roll, and of course my personal fave, the Philly Roll — everything was insanely fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can taste the quality in every bite. The portions were great, the flavors were on point, and the service was so friendly. Honestly, this is the kind of place you end up coming back to over and over again. We’re already planning our next visit so we can try more from their menu, if you’re in the area, definitely stop by.
If you love sushi, this place is a must-visit! 🥢 The fish was incredibly fresh—every bite melted in my mouth. The rice was perfectly seasoned and held together beautifully, and you can tell they put real care into every piece. We tried a mix of nigiri, sashimi, and a couple of their specialty rolls. The nigiri was pure perfection—simple and elegant—while the specialty rolls had great flavor combinations without going overboard on sauces. The presentation was gorgeous, almost too pretty to eat (almost!). Service was warm, attentive, and fast, even though the place was busy. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it perfect for date night or a casual dinner with friends.
This is our go to sushi place. Well I’ll never dined in, we always order out and they have great deals for sushi rolls which make it very affordable. We probably order from here at least once or twice a month!
When considering AYCE sushi in Orange County, Sake 2 Me is arguably the best quality for the price point. Every specialty roll, hand roll, and izakaya option is solid. We usually go for lunch, and despite no carpaccio for this time slot, we never leave disappointed. Best of all, the service is attentive, friendly, and fantastic.
I love this place!! This is my absolute favorite Sushi place to eat. Upon entering, everyone is greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and the cozy, intimate atmosphere immediately set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Love it when the lights go on and the music... great place to celebrate your birthday!
Have been a customer for a couple of years by now. For the price you pay - it's definitely 5 stars. Have been dining in for a couple of times, all good, take outs every week - same thing, all good. Fish is fresh, quality of the food is more 4/5, take out rolls are usually poorly rolled, but still good value for the price. Managers and the team are usually very busy, but do a good job. If you need a place to eat - definitely worth it. If you need an upscale fancy place - look elsewhere.
My kids Resturant that they want to go to every week. Good food. Great service. Kinda wish they had a reward system for the amount of times we’ve been here
Service tends to be very friendly and attentive. The server went over how the AYCE works, made recommendations, and checked in on the group periodically to see if we needed water or other extras. The timing of dish delivery was reasonable not rushed but not too slow that you start getting bored hiding waiting either
It's off the 17th and Tustin st by the 55 freeway. Its awesome. Had all you can eat. Which is about $25 a person plus drinks come out to $60. Fair price for great service we had. They were kind and always on top to fill our drinks and to cater to us. The food was amazing! We ordered so much food, and it all tasted great, fresh and professional. Wow. This is a place to definitely try out if you enjoy sushi. Its awesome. Also they have a strobe light they did for the night time for someone's birthday, that was cool as well.
The sushi quality is very good, you can tell how fresh are the ingredients. Friendly staff and good service. They haveany options to try. What I didn't like about the place is a bit small for larger groups.
Objectively the best sushi place in OC. Prices are great, staff is fantastic and theres always someone having a birthday there which is a fun spectacle.
This is a great restaurant. Prices are average with other sushi places but thier menu is huge. Great place for a date or family night out
Came here with the whole family and left absolutely stuffed! ⚡️Unlike the Newport location, this one doesn’t have AYCE, but all sushi and rolls are half off – amazing deal. We tried the Mixed Sashimi Platter (generous portions, fresh, and way more than 12 pcs), the Sushi Combo (huge, fresh, and comes with salad + miso soup), the Chuck Norice no-rice roll (great for low-carb), and a Beef Teriyaki Bowl for our kid (tender and flavorful). ✨ Spacious seating, family- and group-friendly, and they even give a free dessert for birthdays. Fresh fish + great value = will definitely be back!
Been here a few times—always worth it! This Irvine location doesn’t have AYCE, but all sushi, rolls, and hand rolls are 50% off. Super fresh, and the crawfish sushi is a sleeper hit. Great value (around $20 per person), perfect for lunch if you want variety without stuffing yourself. Parking is easy, but weekends get busy—go early if you can. If you’re near Irvine for school or work, it’s a solid go-to!
Wow such a cool place!!! The music is like throwback 2010’s pop and it’s amazing 🎶 lol. The food is great. Lots of options. The sushi was half off so it was very reasonably priced. The only thing I wasn’t really a fan of was like this crunchy fried fish salad thing. But the sushi itself was amazing🍣. Large portions and yummy. Also someone had a birthday 🥳and the celebration was such a happy surprise, even as an onlooker. It was so funny and unexpected!! I loved it! That was the best part. The vibes were great. 😎
Sake2Me has been a work favorite for our team for a while now and I am just getting around to reviewing their dining establishment, so apologies for that. Their menu is VERY extensive and offers all the popular sushi and rolls for the SoCal area to include some of their own snazzy creations!! I am more partial to their regular sushi, but I do get wild and get a roll from time-to-time ;-)! They have never disappointed, and everyone always leaves with a full and very satisfied belly!! In addition, their 50% off rolls (and sushi/sashimi) is a huge plus for the pocketbook!! The staff is very friendly and attentive, they have all of our respect as they run between tables taking so many orders for sushi and rolls and keeping everything on track :-)!!
Sake 2 Me Sushi is offering 50% off all sushi, rolls, and hand rolls, so I had to check it out! Here’s what I ordered: 🍣 Onion Blossom Albacore – Spicy tuna, cucumber, seared albacore, avocado, and crispy onion chips. So flavorful! 🍣 Chuck Norice Roll (No Rice) – Spicy krab, shrimp tempura, tuna, and salmon wrapped in soy paper. Light yet satisfying! 🍣 Bluefin Tuna Carpaccio & Premium Sashimi (12pcs) – Super fresh and melt-in-your-mouth!
Sushi, roll, and handroll are 50% off all day. This place is so crowded I bet their food is good! Food is 4 star but to beat this price, they deserve 5 star. I tried: 1. Sun kissed roll 2. Dynamite baked roll 3. Karaage 4. Spicy tuna crispy 5. Albacore crunch onion 6. Sushi: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, albacore 7. Premium sushi: yellowtail belly
One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Santa Ana! Fast and friendly service and affordable. They always have 50% off sushi. Love it!
Great variety of sushi, sashimi and rolls on the menu. Orders were made and delivered quickly. Waiters and waitress are polite and professional. Best of all us the 50% off menu of many items.
I had so much joy dining at Sake 2 Me! Their AYCE sushi is very very fresh, delicious, presentable, and very reasonable( $39.99 for AYCE on weekends) . We came on a weekend when they just opened, it was a full house already! That shows how much people love their food! Our dish took a while to come but it's very worth the wait. Everything is freshly made by their crafted sushi chef. I am very picky with my sushi, but there are so many varieties on the menu, from fresh rolls to no rice rolls, from seared rolls to hand rolls, and from salads to sides. It's very easy for me to pick something I like. I enjoyed every rolls we ordered. Especially oved their salmon hand roll, spicy rainbow, Aloha roll, and many more rolls. Service is very friendly, the decor is simple but nice. Located in a small plaza but with plenty of parking spots. This is my to-go AYCE sushi spot in OC from now on. Can't wait to come back!
This place has 50% off sushi for all day both to-go and dine-in. The offer includes most of the menu except for the sashimi and the bowl. The price is very affordable and one of the very best value. The quantity and quality are on point. Service was quick. I love the chef’s choice sushi plate, eapecially the belly part. Salmon belly and tuna belly are tender and delicious. The salad is also very good. Salmon parts are well grilled. Rolls are served in generous portion. They have a variety of tastes. Great place for sushi and sashimi! Recommend for family and friends dining.
The food was worth the price, all rolls are half off which I thought was awesome. Our server was very nice and explained everything because we had never been there but it was very good. I'll definitely be going back
Simply put this is one of the best sushi spots in Orange County. After months of trying to beat the long lines I was finally able to get a table. The sushi is so fresh. The fish is absolutely delicious so smooth and flavorful. Their roles are creative and taste great. All you can eat option is where it's at. The staff is really helpful and they have great suggestions. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
My boyfriend and I were visiting from NYC a couple of weeks ago and had a craving for sushi. We didn’t want to ball out and spend a ton, we were seeing some high prices in the area. He stumbled across this gem when he was looking up sushi spots. Now at first I was skeptical because this place is very unassuming, it’s in a strip mall. When we went in there were many people dining which was a good sign to me. We loved the atmosphere of the inside the actual restaurant. Our server was a sweet kid and he checked on us multiple times throughout our lunch. We ordered the Cali rolls, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura. We really enjoyed the spicy tuna the best out of the 3. Also got 2 pieces of the salmon sushi which ended up being our favorite! Salmon was melt in your mouth delicious. This restaurant is clean and affordable and just what we were looking for. A casual sushi gem!
I came to this restaurant with my family today! 😽 Although I don’t eat sashimi 🍣, they have plenty of cooked dishes to choose from. Plus, many of their items are half price‼️Almost every table had at least three plates or more! Today, I ordered the Caterpillar Roll and Cheesy Carroll, and both were absolutely delicious! 🥹🥹🥹 I definitely want to try other flavors next time. The sashimi also looked fresh and delicious 😋, and the plating was very elegant. 🌟 The only raw seafood I eat is uni , and they had 2 pcs for just $11.25, which was such a great deal! Unlike some other locations, this place is not AYCE , but I still think it’s totally worth it! The restaurant’s interior has a strong Japanese vibe, making me feel like I was actually in Japan 🇯🇵. The staff was also very attentive and checked on us regularly 🥰. For this price and quality, it’s definitely worth it! The value for money is amazing, and I highly recommend it! 👍
Recently stumbled upon this place offering 50% off all sushi! Went in with low expectations, but to my surprise, the ingredients were incredibly fresh 🤩 (price reference in Pic 5). Must-try: The premium sushi selection! The sweet shrimp and jumbo scallop are absolute steals. The scallop is HUGE (Pic 3/8) with a touch of yuzu sauce that elevates the flavor—only $2.50 per piece after the discount?! The sweet shrimp was tender and flavorful, though slightly smaller than expected (Pic 3), but hey, for the price, you can’t complain! From the premium menu, I ordered all the trios—no regrets. The premium trio (three assorted cuts) was the standout. Other trios feature different cuts/seasonings of the same fish—like the salmon trio (salmon belly, seared pepper salmon, and regular salmon). My favorite was the pepper salmon (Pic 1). Also tried the yuzu albacore and Tustin Blossom roll (Pic 6)—both solid! 100% coming back with friends! 🙌
First time in, had Chirashi and it was EXCELLENT! The scallop in particular was delicious. Staff was friendly, but I did have to wave someone down once or twice. A bright, lively and energetic environment. Very nice balance of food quality to price.
Prices are great for the amount of sushi and quality of fish. There is great variety and something for everyone. Service is great and servers are attentive. They also have a great atmosphere and do the coolest birthday surprises. My family goes often and we have a great experience each time
This place has amazing quality sushi and a wide variety of options. Every time I go here I am met with consistently delicious food and a lively atmosphere. It can get pretty busy, but the sushi here is legit so it’s worth the wait. The portions are also very generous which is fantastic. For the area, this is probably one of the best spots. P.S. They don’t play around with birthdays… what an experience lol.
sushi was so good and service was nice! music was very fun as well. second time here and just as satisfied as the first
Yummy and fresh sushi with a variety of flavors! Will come back! Good atmosphere and service was very kind.

Obsessed with their sushi, especially the nigiri as it tastes fresh. Tried the onion blossom albacore roll ($12) and salmon roll ($6) this time. Highly recommend!
This is my to go place for sushi!!!\nI'm happy with their prices, and their customer care. \nTheir food is always fresh. \nI love to do takeout and dine in.
Always, fresh and delicious. wait times can be long but worth it. The karage and jalapeno poppers are a must try.
The food quality was good, especially the sushi, which was fresh and well prepared. The menu has a nice variety and overall the flavors were enjoyable. Service was okay but nothing special — not bad, just average. With a bit more attention and consistency in service, this place could easily be a 5-star spot. Overall, a good experience and worth visiting.
Great value sushi rolls that tastes good. I recommend the Green Goblin. I noticed a disco ball hanging from the ceiling while we were eating and wondered what was up with it. Towards the end of our meal the lights dimmed, the disco ball started turning, lights started flashing, and a loud birthday song played. I totally didn't expect it. Fun for the birthday people though.
This place is pretty good for the price. The sushi is served like little tacos in little taco stands. Great place to go and sit at the bar for a quick bite.
This is the Tustin outlet of Sake 2 Me Sushi. They offer AYCE and a la carte option at this causal Japanese restaurant. Their popular offerings are the special rolls made with various contemporary and creative style of rolls made with several savory, salty and sweet sauces. It’s very popular with kids and young adults. There will be a wait since it is popular and all parties need to be there to be seated. Just use the yelp tablet to secure a place in line. Plenty of parking available.
Very good mid range sushi spot for fairly good priced. They forgot my miso soup. So took a star off for that. Also calculate the tip yourself. The tip amounts on the tab are suggested before the discounted prices on the menu, so you're tipping on a percentage more than the amount you paid. 😂 You're welcome! 😉
Pros: short waiting time at the door. My shrimp sushi roll was delicious. Calamari rings were ok. Cons: they ignore you if you are party of one. I was sitting there for 15 minutes before the server showed up at the table. It just didn’t happen to me (I saw another customer with the same situation). It was busy. The tables were so close to each other (not hygienic). They messed one of my sushi orders (I didn’t notice it at first). Also, my server forgot my soup. The Edamame was not good (bland taste, no flavor). Overall experience: medium quality. But that was my experience that night. Maybe someone else had better experience.
My favorite place to go for AYCE. Good lunch prices and a wide variety. The boss man was there when we ate, he helped out his servers when their hands were full. Being in management for years, it's important to work shoulder to shoulder. Service was a tad slow, but I love their ratio with fish to rice.
Good place if you like salmon. I like their no rice rolls. Definitely one of the better AYCE places
Great Food! Great Service and Greta ambience Jose helped out a lot! The food was very good and sushi was fresh
wait times were a bit long and side refill weren't free, otherwise great dining experience.
Go to place for ayce sushi. Service is great, food is really good, excellent range of choices. Popular place. Well worth it. Update: No longer AYCE. Which is too bad. Sushi is half off and still good quality. The problem is they packed too many people way to close. Almost elbow to elbow. Way too close, that loses some stars.
Within the last year they have made it so you’re forced order your food using a tablet at the table. I couldn’t help but notice that they don’t sanitize them between customers. I saw multiple tables get set without them being sanitized, so it’s not like it was a fluke where it was forgotten for one table. Setting the sanitary aspect aside, being forced to use a tablet really cheapened the dining experience. It felt like eating at Applebees, but worse because at least at Applebees you can opt out of using the tablet. It’s a real shame because the food is top notch. I honestly feel bad for the chefs, because it reflects poorly on the excellent work that they do.
Good food and very well priced! Service is ok but sometimes could be better. Chill place to be with friends. Gyoza, California/dynamite roll are great ... ask the staff to sing you happy birthday…

Been going to this restaurant since 2019. Went there tonight for a small birthday dinner before we leave town tomorrow. I have always had a good time up until tonight and the service was very disappointing. Julie’s Special roll & Calamari rings never came out & we had to request to have the never received items taken off our tab!!!!!! My server acknowledged (we had a conversation about birthdays as she was checking) that my birthday is tomorrow upon checking my ID for hot sake. Did not bring any dessert out like they did for others. Just disappointed & sad.
Came here because of the great reviews it had. I was in the mood for sushi. But honestly it was not good. Prices are descent because everything is half off, but it’s at the expense of mediocre rolls and the kitchen forgetting about your food. Cute ambiance. Fun to come for a birthday because they turn off the lights and have strobes and obnoxious music playing. You definitely get the center of attention if it’s your birthday! At first it’s cute but then after the third time you’re over it. Sake was good!
We’re pretty yeah, I’ll taste it the same lot of imitation crab meat, the sushi was OK not really that fresh or high-quality. What do you expect for 50% off sushi rolls. As a place to go in large groups people that want high volume sushi and lower quality. Service was excellent really good waiters very attentive. They definitely are their keep. rather go somewhere else for good sushi.
I love eating here in person the food is amazing. But takeout has been a repeated issue: rolls fall apart right away, cuts are sloppy with oversized chunks, and it keeps happening even after multiple orders. The takeout quality doesn’t resemble what’s served in the restaurant. Owner/management: please look into what’s happening with to-go orders.
They used to have all you can eat, now they say it's 50% off but they over charge you on everything.
Quality of fish is not fresh. Ordered a volcano roll to go. salmon fish was thin and taste fishy. Over sauced and soaked into rice. They should left sauce on side. Called in and gave feedback girl …
Been doing takeout here for almost 5 years, but every time I dine in I have a horrible service experience. They have decent sushi but they mark up the price so they can say it's "50% off" which is fine, I get it, but THE SERVICE IS JUST TERRIBLE! I got seated one time and they never came to my table, I sat there patiently with my 3 year old for about 30-40min until anyone ever came to the table to take our drink order. No one noticed we hadn't been served. Today it took 5 minutes of my party standing at the door before I had to say something to get seated (not busy at all), another 20 minutes to get a drink order in, and I had to walk up to the front to get someone's attention for a refill and napkins for my kid. It's just been a series of bad experiences here. Takeout is fine, but don't dine in, especially if you have a heart condition, the stupid birthday song they have BLASTS loudly over the speakers startling everyone who's just trying to enjoy their meal. There should really be a warning for people with heart conditions lol it's so bad. It's been a year since my last visit, I was hoping service had improved but they have not, don't think I'll be back. I'm done giving they my business for crappy service.
All You Can Eat is NOT being offered here during COVID! We didn't find this out until after we received the bill, which was double the expected amount. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable! We were referred to their online menu (because of COVID) which still shows AYCE as being available, with prices. I uploaded a screenshot of the web page. Furthermore, when we brought it to our server's attention, he conferred with the other staff who just came back and told us the same thing. They asked who set us down and said he should have told us, but they still refused to do anything about it. They said prices were already half off and we should have seen the prices on the menu - but a lot of places use the same order menu with the AYCE option so I didn't know any better. We asked for a manager but apparently he isn't going to be in until Tuesday. How do you not have a manager on the weekend, especially when you have outdated/incorrect advertising? I'm not one to raise a fuss about minor discrepancies, but when my bill is literally double what I expected and differs from what is advertised, there's a problem.
I'm an Uber driver, and this server seemed to be disabled. She never responded to my calls. It's so kind of them to hire disabled people here. Their management is chaotic. I wasted time and gas to pick up food, only to be told it had already been taken by someone else. They don't know who took it !They even threatened to report me for stealing food the next day. Good job 😭
Review I have visited this sushi restaurant many times in the past and always experienced good service, which is why I continued coming back. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Upon entering, we were greeted by a staff member named Oscar and seated at a table for two. From that moment on, the experience became very unpleasant. After completing our order sheet, we attempted to hand it to another staff member because Oscar was no longer nearby. At that point, we were treated with a rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional attitude. The response we received was dismissive and offensive, with no basic courtesy or customer service etiquette. In addition, the table we were given was very uncomfortable. When we noticed a better table had become available and politely asked if we could move, we were again met with an aggressive and inappropriate response. We then asked this staff member (his name is Jesus) to call Oscar for us. Even this simple request was handled with visible irritation and disrespect. Shortly afterward, Oscar returned, and we requested that he serve us directly. While the food itself has always been one of the reasons we chose this restaurant, the level of service during this visit completely overshadowed that. Because of the repeated rude behavior, lack of professionalism, and unacceptable treatment from the staff, we have decided that we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. Good food cannot compensate for poor service and disrespect toward customers. We believe the restaurant management should give serious attention to the staff member named Jesus, whose behavior was unacceptable, in order to ensure that other customers do not experience the same situation. We sincerely hope that incidents like this will not be repeated in the future.
