Mi Ranchito Tyler Reviews
I can't get enough of their tacos every bite is full of flavor! Best sauce , one of my new favorites !
A great little spot, particularly if you are getting your vehicle worked on across the street. Un restaurante muy sabroso y amigable
i havent had anyyyyything i didnt like. the red sauce, the quesadillas, the rice & beans. its all SO GOOD. worth it.
Great service. Best tripa tacos in Tyler, nice and crispy, but not dry.
They sell real authentic Mexican food. I love their tacos they are the best in town!
Excellent service, great pastor tacos and the hot sauce(it is NOT salsa) will leave you sweating and satisfied.
It's a true Mexican ,Tex-mex restaurant, you could order food that's not on the menu and they will make it for you
Being new to Tyler and stopping here or there I'm formulating where I'll shop eat or allow my self to conduct business being as the 411 acres country that I am this place even with language barrier recognizing a new customer was before them word showed hospitality and provided a welcoming back service.
LOVE their tacos. Lengua is my preference. Caldo de Pollo/Rez is BOMB when you're feeling under, or you just want hot soup! If you don't have cash and you want to add tip on your card, be sure to tell them BEFORE handing them your card, there isn't a way to add it after!
This restaurant is one of the best I have ever eaten at . Fresh made in front of you & so delicious!!! Dine in & take out !
Genuine Mexican food. If you are looking for the decor of the well established chains don't come here. If you want delicious food at a reasonable price, definitely eat here.
Ordered the carne asada. Was really delicious with homemade tortillas. Rice was super delicious, the beans a little watery but still really good!
Great service and the food is delicious. Hands down one of the best meals you will have, I highly recommend..
The best tacos in Tyler. Sopas are delicious! It’s all good! Family owned and cooked when you order.
Best Mexican food I've had in a while. Everything homemade. They have aguas frescas and Mexican coke.

Best Mexican food, good flavor
The best, BEST, flan I have ever had. I will be bringing me tia here when she visits. The menu is absolutely amazing, and everything that I remember about Mexican cuisine coming from SoCal. It's everything that we cook in our homes, and in the hole in the wall places behind the liquor stores in Orange, Midway City and Huntington Beach. By far, my favorite restaurant in Texas.
I enjoy Mi Ranchito, not only because the food is great but also because my family, who was born and raised in Mexico, genuinely appreciates it as well. It’s always a huge compliment when my family approves of Mexican food here in the U.S., as they have high standards for authentic flavors. While not every dish is perfect, there are several that truly excel and remind us of home. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy good food, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of Mexico!
You have to try this place! This is the epitome of delicious authentic Mexican food. Service was good, portions were good, & the agua frescas were amazing. My husband and I will definitely be eating here again! I would like to add that someone with a medical history of heart failure probably shouldn’t eat here.. You’ll eat yourself into an exacerbation😅 otherwise, 10/10
I've had plenty of Mexican restaurants knock my socks off with great service and fantastic food, but I have never had such truly AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine (shy of being invited for dinner at an abuelas). This joint is absolutely one of the best home-cooked Mexican atmospheres that I have yet to experience. You can tell that a lot of love goes into each dish they serve. Truly a gem if you're visiting the Rose Capitol of the world: Tyler, TX!
Atmosphere was nice just a little 🥵 hot, maybe the ac was broken, service is always amazing everyone is so sweet and welcoming, and the food is all so delicious 🤤 my favorite is the Mexican enchiladas. Oh and let’s not forget about the fresh waters
Absolutely love this place! The food is super authentic and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and family oriented, which makes it feel like home. I highly recommend the red enchiladas with chicken so good. They also offer aguas frescas, coffee, and Mexican Coke to go with your meal. One of my favorite parts is the complimentary chips that come with three different types of salsa. Everything here is made with care and you can taste the difference. Definitely a go-to spot in Tyler!

It was really good. Food was great and service was excellent. Small, quiet, authentic place and worth a visit. I enjoyed it.
The green enchiladas are very good. I'll be back to try other items on the menu.
Had a chile relleno plate to go that was good. I'll be back to try out more of the menu.
Tried this place for the 1st time during this quarantine. The beef and lingua (tongue) were great. El pastor (spicy pork)was ok. Great and fast service. I would definitly come back when I am in town.

Expect to spend around $25-30 to feed two adults. The Mexican Enchiladas (green) were absolutely incredible which is why this got 4 stars. The tacos were ok and the sopas were a little bland. Portions on the small side for the price, I’d stick to the enchiladas.
This was my first time at Mi Ranchito and I will definitely be back. I got 3 tacos to go, and my order was hot, accurate, & delicious! It's rare to find an authentic Mexican restaurant that offers lettuce & tomatoes on tacos by default, so that was an absolute plus for me.

they have good food , but they need to work more on the service , a smile time to time will be ok
Almost real Mexican food Everything was close to but not quite Chips where old salsa was more hot then flavor The main food was okay in flavor soup was good Meat was chewy (lacking flavor and Mexican feeling ) Less food then expected The building needs some minor repairs
Service was kinda slow. Waited over 30 minutes for tacos. Menu was small. Food was good tho.
Small menu, slow service and decent food. Not overly impressed especially with numerous competitors that are far better within 5 minutes of this location. I personally would probably not try this place again but have been to far worse places also.

Tacos were ok with green sauce from lupitas. Omg their beans are HORRIBLE. Their not even fully cooked
The chiles rellenos were definitely not as good as they were before. Watered down salsas...it used to be one of my favorite places. Not anymore.
They didn't care about the fact im an influential person even though I told them that they would be recovered, a place that was good has turned bad because of the service. Don't put your children on the server list. The building was empty except 2 at the bar and the girl waiting tables didn't care. They think any women should work for less than men, women are second citizens who are dependent upon men to survive. Let that sink in.
No A/C. Just a large fans blowing air around. Food is alright. Taste good. Wished the waitress paid attention to the order and actually brought out the correct food. Not gonna the customer is always right but I do expect what I order. Even when it's to go food.

Bad service very unprofessional my family went to go eat a few weeks back, refills are usually given by the waitress my dad finish his drink and waited forever until he had to get up and serve himself a lil bit of soda so he could flush the rest of his food still having food left, the food took forever too come out as well people serving there don’t have good attitude very uncomfortable atmosphere the food is very pricey for the bad experience not worth it I’ll give a one star cause the taste was good but I’ll only go there again if it was my only option and the food to go not eating there again.
Restrooms out of order and still open,Food was so bad left on table. Let then know how awful there Food was,one bite that's it took .
Walked in and was treated poorly. Didn't even eat here!
Price for the quality of food should be adjusted.
Service sucked, food tasted like it was reheated, no flavor at all the only good thing i liked was the tamarindo.
Horrible, food was horrible, extremely dry, salty. Order was wrong charged for food didnt bring out. Disputed the bill they looked up and wouldnt fix it. Soda tasted old. No drink refills, beans were watery, rice was hard. Be suprised if pass health codes with way soda tastes.
Not the most authentic taste, this is what the chicken enchilada plate looks like and I asked for side of rice and beans and didn't get them I asked for 2 aguas de melon did not get them. Won't be coming back definitely a 4 out of 10

The food is delicious but the lady/ owner is very rude. Today my family and I went to eat there. Before leaving I ordered a plain and dry torta (sandwich) to go. I explicitly explained “bread, meat, bread” when my torta came out it had mayonnaise. I went to the front and told them my order was incorrect. She immediately got angry and told me that I would have to wait for 4 orders to be completed before working on mine. I asked her to just give me a refund for the sandwich and she yelled at me saying that she had not included my to go order in the total bill. Very unpleasant experience.
THIS WAS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GET CALDOS APART FROM THEM SERVING YOU 2 PIECES OF MEAT WE WENT IN AND THE CALDO WAS BAD SO I ASKED FOR SOMETHING ELSE IM PREGNANT AND CANT BE GETTING FOOD POISONING SO I TRIED TO CALL YESTERDAY AND ASK IF THEY HAD THAT SAME CALDO AND WHENEVER I ASKED WHEN IT WAS MADE THEY HUNG UP ON ME SO DEFINITELY NOT EVER GOING BACK I DONT SEE WHATS WRONG ASKING THAT QUESTION THEY SHOULD MAKE SURE THEIR FOOD HASNT GONE BAD BEFORE SERVING MY HUSBAND GOT REALLY BAD FOOD POISONING FROM EATING CARNITAS BEFORE SO THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND WHEN PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS NOT A REASON TO BE MAD .
Wow. Absolutly terrible!! The barbacoa tasted like they spilled a cleaning chemical in it. Beans were as runny as water. The rice was disgusting. I didnt know u could make rice taste bad. Bad service. It was sooo dark in their. They had all lights off inside with only little light from window.
What a disappointment of this place! Took for long time for a burrito and a torta, the meat was overcooked, hard. it wasn't fresh meat for sure, im definitely did not liked it. Not thank you, I will not coming back.
Food is average and not worth 28$, also be prepared to be charged 5$ in “Taxes”. Got the sopes and guisado de puerco on the menu it was 23$ plus tax. They charged me 28$ on my receipt
