Comix Roadhouse Uncasville Reviews
Another trip to the casino, diner and then comedy at the Roadhouse. The fillet is always great!! Cajun shrimp was a good appetizer, drinks were tasty and service with Olivia was excellent. Money well spent.
Come experience Texas in Connecticut! You’ll find a lively atmosphere with bull riding, a huge bar, live music, and dancers. And don’t forget the delicious Tex-Mex food! The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of seating. It can get a bit crowded in the evening, but the vibe is still cool.
Lively place unlike other places at the casino. The food was delicious specially the burgers. Definitely recommend trying this place.
We came in with no reservation. Honestly, I didn't know we needed one, but they still accommodated us, no problem. We had a fantastic waitress, very catering and timely. The food was good. Great burger!Nice beer selection. It's a bar/ restaurant with a comedy club inside. Seperate tickets for that. We sat near a bucking bronco. Wasn't being used at the time we were there, but videos on the tv of people riding it. Great night. We would do it again. Very, very busy. Handicap accessible but if crowded, the staff made a path for you and assisted us out.
⭐️A LITTLE SLICE OF TEXAS IN CT⭐️ COMIX Roadhouse at Mohegan Sun is a total blast and the perfect little slice of Texas in the heart of New England! 🤠 From the moment we stepped in, it felt like we were transported straight to the Lone Star State. First off, there’s a mechanical bull—yes, you read that right! I gave it a shot and lasted about a minute, but it was a total riot! 🐂💥 The comedy show was a highlight—Annie Lederman had us in stitches the whole time. Before the laughs, we got a chance to grab some drinks and food. The drinks were good (shoutout to the beer and pumpkin espresso!) but the real stars were the food items! 🍗🍖 The smokey wings were a flavor explosion—so savory, we couldn’t stop eating them. The burnt ends were this perfect balance of crispy and sticky—pure BBQ magic. The eggrolls were crispy and packed with flavor, and don’t even get me started on the ribeye... it was melting in my mouth and practically slid right off the bone. 😋 We finished the night with the ultimate indulgence—lava cake and fried Oreos. The fried Oreos were life-changing—best I’ve ever had! 🍩 To cap it all off, we danced the night away to American Honey, a fantastic live band that kept the energy up. You can absolutely make an entire night out of this place—dinner, laughs, drinks, and dancing! Highly recommend COMIX Roadhouse if you want a night full of great food, fun vibes, and unforgettable memories. 🙌
What an incredible evening from start to finish. Fantastic appetizers, excellent live music, side-splitting laugher in the comedy club with deep fried OREOS, and a mechanical bull ride. So much fun that I’m bringing more friends on my return visit. Just GO!
We went for my friends bday and had a great time! The show was funny and entertaining to say the least! After, we had dinner there, the food was good and our server was awesome! The staff took pics for us and wished my friend a happy birthday and gave her a comp. slice of delicious chocolate cake with candles!! We r definitely going again!
I went there for the drug show. Best show ever lipstick and lashes. If you're comfortable with that stuff you should go. It's funny they're not all over you. They're just there to dance, have fun and be themselves they let you join the crowd. They talk to you a lot. It's the best you have to try at least once in your life . Also other comedy shows that go there. Check it out. See what's coming up
Went and saw Josh Wolf, was a very entertaining show and a good food. Would have to go back just to eat, only complaint is the limited Saturday evening show menu, only 4 items just so others know, we would've planned better had we known. Staff were friendly and attentive. They have dancers and a mechanical bull, would love to go back to experience everything else they have to offer.
Excellent food and top notch craft beer selection. Very friendly staff and felt very safe with there with disinfecting tables constantly and use of face masks and gloves. Excellent management for putting the safety as number one priority.
Went for dinner. Good prices
It was fun to be had. The food was quick and a decent selection; salads, burgers, chicken, and bison (pictured). Live music was good. Dancers with shorts that barely cover their butt were okay, just not our personal type of fun, but we could see why others find it fun to watch for a couple of songs. The only challenge was that our sever disappeared, and we couldn't figure out where she was to get drink refills. I had a Pepsi, so it wasn't a "limit situation." We also had a server run into my chair with his dirty dish clean up cart due to the crowding, but hey, we chose to sit close to the band where the dancing was happening so not an issue so much as a "be aware" and watch your surroundings. It was also fun watching people attempt the mechanical bull.
Excellent Food, great service and prices are reasonable!
Drinks were great. General admission seats were pretty great. Service was good. And show had us laughing.
We just saw Josh Wolf at Comix Roadhouse and it was awesome. We walked right in. VIP seating is the way to go. Our waitress was superfast and the drinks were really nice. We are definitely coming back and will probably do dinner before the show there next time. Highly recommend!
This was our first time here. The service and food were very good, prices were reasonable and the live band was fun. Will definitely come back again.
Excellent show! Performers were funny, talented and very entertaining! Did a great job including the audience and making sure everyone had an amazing time! My family was there celebrating a birthday and they made sure we enjoyed every minute of it and my nephew even made it up on stage! lol If you are in Mohegan Sun stop by and have a few good laughs
This is a great place to go for concerts. As a matter of fact I just went to a terrific concert Jenny Leigh Miller. I would go back in a heartbeat if she were going to perform there. But there are many good bands and entertainment there. The service is very good and if you want to be sure to get a seat get there early and you might have to wait in line or you can reserve seats online. Many of the concerts do not have a charge but there are minimum bar purchases. the music is not so loud that you can't have a conversation so you will enjoy being with your friends while you're listening to good music and eating good food.
Great Venue for Comedians not many bad seats. The new country bar is great with the bull and stage for bands. Service was pretty good for a packed night, but your not going to get out of there on the cheap
Very efficient, getting everyone seated and served for the show. We quite enjoyed the show unfortunately didn't get the chance to try any of the food. Hopefully, next time.
Loved it! I saw a drag show there and a comedian, which both were amazing! Highly recommend! And the drinks were very well made
We had great laughs awesome drinks. Will do again can't go wrong for the price⭐
Nice small venue at Mohegan Sun Casino. I had front row VIP seats. My table was literally 18 inches from the front of the stage. I saw Donell Rawlings. He stepped off stage took 2 steps and was standing right next to me. These seats are AWESOME.
Awesome Place , staff is great, everyone is always happy & smiling. Great bands 😃.
I've gone here a few times now. The food is always low quality, sometimes even coming out cold. I always go for the comedy not the food, and we have to order off the late night menu. Maybe that plays a role in this too. Bit the comedy venue is my favorite. I always sit in the front and am able to interact with the comedians. There is a $10 per person minimum and since I do t drink alcohol I'm always buying g something g off the menu I'm disappointed with, but it won't stop me from coming back again. Out of the 5 shows I've seen there Mike cannon was the funniest
Beast burger was very good. However, it was very cold inside, and I could not wait until I could be outside in the August heat.
Lili was amazing! She made my surprise bridal shower amazing! I love her attentiveness and personality! I would go back again and again just because she made my experience great!
So happy I chose this place. Went on a late Sunday afternoon and the Roadhouse Burger was incredible. Everything on it was delicious: the beef, the bacon, the BBQ... Oh and you can't go wrong with tator tots or their fries. All so tasty. It's been a while since I've had a good burger and everyone else at my table was happy with their choices. They also had a live performer, the service was attentive, the ambience unique, and they even have a mechanical bull to complete the experience. It's $10 to ride and even though no one road while we were there, I'm sure people do on Friday or Saturday nights. Overall, highly recommend!
Well they have good taste in entertainers. As always, check with the venue if you are planning on attending an entertainment event, whether it is suitable for children. (Many entertainers have both family friendly, and adult only acts!)
This establishment has the foundationally good taste to have Daniel Greenwolf as entertainment. Need I say more as a recommendation? You'll be lucky to see the show here.
Went to dinner on Friday night at Comix Roadhouse. The food was excellent. The shrimp tacos were fabulous. Would go back to eat them again. The waitress was excellent. Lava cake was really good. Also the owner came our table and introduced himself and talked to us. I said to him that my nice works there .And she suggested that I stop in to have dinner at the Comix Roadhouse. My experience was really great and everyone was friendly and nice.
We went here for dinner recently before attending a show elsewhere in the casino. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos, while my daughter made do with some veggie side orders that would serve as her vegan meal. I on the other hand, had the fried chicken dinner. It was a bit over cooked and over priced for what it was. Overall, it was a pretty good decision to go here, but I think a burger would be a much better choice - even though I do love fried chicken…
Nice decor but their food portions are EXTREMELY small. Very pricey and pretty much more like child size dinner portions at a very expensive prices. No worth the money. Food tasted good, but very small. There are better options around the casino. No restaurant restrooms. They have a bull riding machine and occasionally dancing girls. Also live bands. Make reservations.
We had a nice time here at Comix! Lively atmosphere on a Saturday night, but could be a bit too loud at times with a live band, simulated bull riding, and dancers - just a warning for those who may not be into that. We had the empanadas to start off with and as Hispanics, we approve! They had a nice flavor and the pastry shell was one of the best I've had. My table then had the half rack of ribs (plenty for one), the Marinated Sirloin (maybe a bit small for one), and the Fish and Chips. They were all pretty good, if anything, just a bit overpriced. Definitely satisfying, just not amazed. To round out the night, we ordered the Deep Fried Oreos on a whim and boy, are we glad we did. Best thing I had and I actually haven't had them before, so I was blown away. Made my night. Service was good, food took a little long, maybe 35 minutes, but the happenings at the restaurant distracted us enough. Overall, it was a nice time.
First time visiting this restaurant. It was Saturday night with a huge event going on in the arena as well as smaller events throughout the casino. Needless to say the casino was packed First let me compliment the team at the front end. Two gentlemen welcomed us (2 adults 1 child) at the doors asking if we had reservations. We stated we did not and they said not to worry he’d make sure we got a table. The young girls at the check in table were very kind and also ensured they’d get us a table even through they were packed. Sure enough they did! We waited about 2 minutes. Super amazing job up front guys. We were seated and the atmosphere here is great. Good lighting and plenty of TV’s with sports and entertainment. The waitress, Diana, came over and took our drink orders pretty quickly and was very nice. She was handling a bunch of tables, maybe they were short handed this night? With that said service was a bit slow but the place was jam packed so it’s very forgivable. We each got burgers and the child a pulled pork sandwich. I can’t comment on apps or dessert but the burgers were good. Your average burger, well cooked with fresh toppings. Buns were not super fresh but still had some bounce. Our 11 year old loved loved loved the sweet potato fries and the pulled pork. Without having tried any apps it’s hard to give a complete food review so I’ll update once we do. Overall it’s a good choice at the casino. Total was $63 before tip.
Comic roadhouse was good. The food was good. Cajun shrimp a little to spicey, but good. BBQ chicken, cheese and bacon was good.
This is a very cool restaurant/entertainment spot at Mohegan. We went on a random Wednesday to see a comedy show and there was a decent crowd and the main comedian was AWESOME! The tickets were a great price and mention if you are military (they do discounts and advertise that it’s always happy hour for military). The staff was fast and friendly! The food was pretty good, but I’m from Texas so the bar is set very high for me when someone claims to have Texas style food lol. The drinks are amazing, my favorite was the sweet tease, and blueberry lemonade! Great place to spend an evening!
Typical bar food. Not too bad.
Fast service. Good pours. We we here for Karaoke night. Lots of fine. 5 stars if didn't close so early.
Would have given 5 stars if they served food late. We were here around 10pm & no food. It was Karaoke night. Enjoyed the misery..lol.
Ended up here just walking by and saw the mechanical bull. Few of us in the group did that for $10 and stayed for a few drinks. They had a live band going since it was Friday too so created a fun environment!
Good spot for a craft beer. Never got into the comedy show. Large bar and seats by area. Decent bar food. Plastic plates and baskets of food. Nothing fancy. Looks like the best place for a drink before or after the comedy show.
Ordered steak frites medium rare. Steak was purple still. My wife’s ordered a burger medium and that came over cooked and bun was stale. Beer was served in warm glass. Probably recently washed. Pretty over priced for average food with little personality. Service was slow. I ordered my second beer when I received my food and didn’t get it until we done eating. Than waited about 20 mins after that just to pay. With all the places to eat there this for sure has been our worst experience.
Went to see Capone, the service was great, food average, very limited menu. The worst part was the fact that during his show they had a band start playing. I just felt that was disrespectful to the comedian and everyone who came and paid to see the show. Battling between trying to hear the show and the loud band was just awful. I don’t recommend seeing a show there
Wrong main piece first try. Wrong side on second try, waiter was VERY polite though.
I absolutely love this place. Food is good music is spot on all the time. Bartenders and wait staff are incredible. But there are other people that work there who are terrible to the customers. Very rude and unprofessional. And why is it at 9pm every single place to sit is reserved and stay empty most of the night. I left there last night because a worker was rude and took a table I was sitting at that actually did not have a reserved sign on it from me. Very rudely told me to get up. And then put 3 reserved signs on it. For the time I was there I spent a lot of money and did not get to enjoy myself.
I wish I could say we had a great experience at Comix Roadhouse, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. At no point were we informed about a strict 90-minute time limit. There were 11 of us—a big group—and not a single person was made aware of this rule. We only found out when a staff member rudely told us we had 10 minutes left, which came as a complete surprise. Had we known from the beginning, we would have planned accordingly. We calmly explained that we were unaware of this rule and were already preparing to leave, yet instead of handling the situation professionally, the staff started yelling at us. The way they spoke to us was completely unnecessary and uncalled for. And as for their sarcastic response to complaints? saying “We'll be sure to roll out the red carpet next time”….. which was very unnecessary and unprofessional. A red carpet won’t be necessary—there won’t be a next time. There are plenty of restaurants that know how to treat their customers with basic respect, and this isn’t one of them. Avoid this place if you expect decent service.
Terrible customer service. My family and I spent $700 at this establishment, and we were treated with complete disrespect by the manager, Matt. His behavior was discriminatory, and I felt singled out simply because we are not from the United States. Instead of making us feel welcome, he made us feel unwelcome and unworthy of good service. No family should have to experience this kind of treatment, especially after spending a significant amount of money. I strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect fairness and respect.
Went here for Valentine’s Day, made a reservation. Came back around the time it would be but never got the text. Ended up getting put up at a tall table with stools directly in front of bar. Prices were wild for food. 45 dollars for a steak that had so many clashing flavors, I didn’t know what to do with. Took it home to rinse off for the dog. Overly buttered potatoes. Got broccoli instead of asparagus, that was undercooked. No vegetarian options for partner other than either pretzels. Or mashed potatoes. Only saving grace was their chocolate covered strawberries. Bill after tip was 150 the server absolutely was great. She deff deserved the tip. But the Food? Horrible. Price for a meal I could’ve gotten better at chilis- as well as not getting bumped into every second for a valentines meal- not impressed
The food was fine ! We got chicken fingers as a snack. The issue is never getting the beets we order, no napkins or silverware with the food, and not disclosing water were bottles and refusing to fulfill requests. Would not return.
