Suju's Coffee & Tea Union City Reviews
A nice place that checks all the boxes. It is reasonably priced, and spacious. Their Thai iced tea is a winner and they have fun cups and sippers on sale. The toffee almond bar is the right mix of sweet and nutty. With plenty of chairs and tables, it’s easy to relax here, and the cheerful staff make the whole experience even better.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Came on a Thursday morning and the café was clean, with plenty of seating and convenient outlets along the side. Free Wi-Fi is a nice bonus. Great spot for studying, casual meetings, board games, or just relaxing while waiting for a phone repair next door (like I was). They have a large selection of pastries and custom sandwiches made to go. Nice to have a locally owned alternative to the big coffee chains.
Great service. My drink of choice is the Polar cap with whip cream. Cashier and other people working always seem happy to be working there. Great environment for reading and or studying. Plenty of tables and free parking. Lots of dessert options and or sandwiches.
This is a cute coffee shop! great place to study since they have a good amount of tables and bathroom. I also like that they sell coffee cups and other things for your drinks. The menu is fairy big and they have something for everyone. The service is fast and friendly(the cashier was very patient too) I ordered the banana bread and an iced coffee, both of them where food. 'll definitely come back.
My first time and Love this shop ; family owned nice service and tax included on the price which I really like make it simple. free parking . plenty tables . Coffee is still hot even after put in cold cream , tasty pastry in big size and very good price . Sell cups and many different flavors grounds coffee .
Been coming here foyears. Best local Cafe in own!! Perfect study and work environment !!
Absolutely love Suju's Coffee & Tea! The prices are reasonable, and the staff is always so kind and courteous. The large seating area is perfect for studying or working, with plenty of outlets and a calm environment. It’s hard to find places like this anymore. Highly recommend for students or anyone needing a peaceful spot!
Kind of like a variety of customers friendly place, a lot of students would like to come in and just randomly shop as they have a big wall filled with products for sale. Coffee wise would not be my first Go to place, it's not strong enough for a wake up coffee but they have a variety of cheesecake which taste good
I came here for the first time and everyone there was really cool. They suggested the Almond Toffee bar. It was amazing. To drink I had a chi tea ☕ and it was really good. I have been to the one in Fremont. That one is worth the visit if you're in that area as well.
Came by here, wanted to grab a sandwich for brunch, found a lot working here. With free Wi-Fi, it’s a pretty good remote working location. Foods and drinks are all good as well. And the music too!

Fast, friendly, cheerful service with a smile (I ordered a coffee and a croissant). *Dozens* of small tables inside, if you want to work from your laptop, since this is how we seem use coffee shops in the bay area, lol. A wall of cute mugs and teapots, as well.

Best coffee place ever! Plus, they have a tons of college crowd. Their Java Chip coffee is to die for.
I got a coconut frap last time I went and I said yes to wip cream and they put it in the iced coffee cup and didnt give me the wip cream that I said yes to before I paid. They didnt make it right and I got the wrong cup I got an iced coffee cup without wip cream instead of a frap cup with wip cream on top.
Quick walking distance from Union city bart! I was greeted by both workers as soon as I walked in! I ordered the iced caramel macchiato and an everything bagel. Great coffee and food for great prices. I am super impressed by the customer service. The seating is also spacious. Sometimes I dont like taking zoom meetings from cafes but this is a good space to do that. You can be spread out from people if you please. Super amazing small business! Go support!

Cute tea ware, cups etc. We chose an assortment of pastries for our party of 3 to share. Enjoyed by all. Kind & patient staff...we had questions about ingredients (not too much detail shown) We went about 5pm. Must be a local favorite, plenty of seating though busy. Cheerful vibe.
Had a regular coffee which was fine. Not much to say. There was a lot of sitting inside and a few chairs outside too.

I stopped in at Suju's Coffee for a quick pick-up attending an event at the nearby high school. Wow! What a nice space. Lots of room to sit, chat, or work. Even better, with this much room, one is probably not elbow to elbow with others. Friendly staff, low music, and the background murmur of conversation. I could get some thinking done here. Consider the spot if you're looking for some focus time!

Just your average coffee shop but with a very classroom like atmosphere. I had a caramel macchiato which was above average. I also had the carrot cake and stole some of my wife’s cream cheese chocolate muffin. Both were what you would e or t from an okay coffee shop bakery. We won’t be goi b out of our way for their baked goods. Though they have double the selection of a Starbucks bakery. Atmosphere was disappointing. Wood chairs and desks as far as the eye can see. They have a large seating area and even outdoor seating. But it is all wooden chairs and tables. Very bland, very mundane very dull. Service was what you’d expect, at least at Starbucks it feels like the baristas are high on the caffeine. Here it felt like they needed a strong coffee. Then again maybe it was because it was a hit Sunday afternoon. There were about 15 people there and it still felt empty. Nearly all of them had there laptops out and it felt like a library.

I was really excited to try this place. The drinks were fine but unfortunately my food was not correct. I ordered 2 bacon, sausage, egg sandwiches on bagel. I was up charged since I was adding sausage to the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and when I got home, my husband and I noticed there was only sausage and cheese. It’s disappointing since I paid extra to get less than what I ordered.

Their cups are so unbelievably thin! When I got my coffee it had this weird sour taste so I went to the sugar table to add some. When I put the lid back on, it burst in my hands despite me being very gentle. I was kindly offered a new drink so I took it and left. When I got home, the new cup burst and spilled everywhere again. PLEASE ORDER MORE STURDY CUPS!!!
An employee asked me to “put” my service dog outside. It felt dismissive, and if dogs aren’t welcome here, a clear sign would help customers like me know beforehand and choose another spot. Otherwise, I’ve always enjoyed this café.
well, they stopped misgendering me eventually. their plain coffee is really bad for some reason. good mugs, good sandwiches, tho. that's about it. the people need more electrical outlets for their devices, so it's not uncommon to see cords draped across the ground or people hoarding tables near the wall. bathrooms are mercifully not gendered, which is why i like going there, although their soap depenser in the front one has been kinda broken for awhile, so a lot of the soap ends up on the ground.
