Baldo's Vacaville Reviews
A good hack is to order the fries medium or well done, and they will do it, they're less soggy and better this way, I feel. Baldo's always delivers on the food - when we went, at 7pm, the dining room was closed, so had to do drive through (seems to be their business model now, I wonder if it will change). Carne asada fries are a huge serving size (cost about $16-$19), but absolutely the right ratio of meat - it's enough to split between two smaller people, or a mountain of food for one person, even if you're big. Could've been a little more guac or avocado, but it's in there, somewhere, haha. And the salsas are fire, as usual, just gotta make sure to ask for enough (extra). I'll be back soon, as always!
Just went this passed Tuesday for taco Tuesday.. I haven't ate them in a while and my kids love tacos. I had the best experience they didn't just have the basic, they had ((cilantro, grilled onions , chopped radish , jalapenos, plenty, plenty sides of hot sauces , they spoke nicely and was gentle to me and with my food..... ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Flavorful & juicy & Crispy delicious Carnitas street Tacos with Cilantro & fresh Lime with an aroma so mouth watering - you can’t help but start stuffing your face right there in your car while you drive; barely looking at the road even though it’s right by the police station - but you don’t care cuz it’s so good & tasty that you might not even realize you forgot to put sauce on it til your almost done eating it …. Because it’s so goood. #Horchata GO GET YOU SOME BALDOS. Open 24/7 Vacaville. Oh. And most of the men that work there are heLLa Fine! Shwooooot!
Me and my friend came here on our way back from visiting Oakland for the weekend we were looking for somthing cheep, and reliable that would fill us up and not drain out banks😅. Service was extremely good and the food was absolutely amazing, I got 3 small tacos and a large horchata for $15.65 really cheep for the amount and really filling. Would recommend any time going to or through the bay. Or if your in the area. 🤌🤌🤌 🤌
A bummer that there is only one location now instead of having the one in Fairfield as well that I had been going to for over 10 years. Food is just as good as before so no problem with that! Of course the carne asada fries are the go to meal! Wish it was still $6.75 like it was back in the day instead of $10.25 now.
oh my goodness, where do I even begin. First these are the best tacos that you will ever have in your life. I'm not from the area but I am from an area that is extremely competitive when it comes to tacos and these guys have all of them beat hands down. All of the seasonings are good the guacamole is good and they have this awesome tortilla chip bar with homemade salsa that I can't even guess the ingredients to, it's that good. I'm so upset that I don't have a place like this where I live but I'm hoping one day some famous chef stops in with TV cameras and makes this place famous and they open 400 restaurants across the country because that's how important Baldo's contribution to Tacos is.
From the crackel of the drive up menu comes a loud loud " what do you want " and you better know right then . They ain't playing here and if you ask for a sec you might get five minutes. For the money you might as well go out to the buffet of questionable quality . But 24 hour service is the power of baldos setting a new standard for what is acceptable to put in your mouth. You won't get out of there for under twenty a head that's for sure
It is what it is. 24hr option for quick Mexican food. Is it good??? Depends on what you order, how much Mexican food you’ve been exposed to and how hungry you are. It’s by no means special. But the 24hr availability and consistency make it stay busy. Pretty decent carne asada burritos. Similar to Aldaberto’s. Breakfast burritos are pretty good and they will fill you up for sure. I love their Salsa but it doesn’t love me back.
Buddy should be more careful. They wanted cash but I used debit and was charged 13.71 plus tip. Lucky it was a payroll card with limits. Very evil and devils I have been through worse. Just tough to be a poor Hispanic per usual. Still dont want to pay cash because they are not honest about the register or menu.
Paid $18 for a super burrito. Had to add beans because it doesn't come with beans. Not very super at all! The steak was obviously the cheapest that could be found and it was 90% grissel. Very disappointing!
Having family in the area, we would often stop by . This last time I went was pretty disappointing. These were my children's orders. a bean cheese and rice burrito with added sour cream and a carne asada burrito. The BCR burrito was about 50% sour cream making it inedible for a small child . The asada burrito only consisted of meat and guacamole. No rice or beans or cheese the basics in burritos. What a shame .
Well we ordered nacho fries, the concept is good but the execution is poor!! The fries were really soggy not done and shredd beef lacked any flavor. The shrimp could have been cooked a little longer with more seasoning!! We may go back but not likely.. The food could have been so much better!! Lastly we couldn't finish the frieswereso undercooked, we only ate a few fork fulls, didn't want to get sick. 🙁☹️
