Residence Il Giaguaro Vada Reviews
Proprio di fronte all entrata in pineta. Bar tabacchi a fianco. 14.00 rientro in spiaggia Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo.
Simona e family
Ambiente carino, cameriere molto disponibile e gentile.
Il Giaguaro isn't just a residence, it's also a restaurant (where everything is good, in fact... really good), a pizzeria (one of my favorites in the area), a rotisserie (just a few meters from the sea), and a bar & ice cream shop!!! Il Giaguaro's artisanal ice cream deserves 10 stars, but Google only lets me give it 5!! :)
Residence, restaurant, bar, ice cream parlor, and takeaway: everything a tourist needs in one place. For those enjoying a day at the beach, the takeaway service is convenient. The dishes are delicious and portions are generous. In the evening, you can order takeaway pizzas or eat them at their restaurant, after which a stroll to nearby Vada or Marina di Cecina will round out the day. As for the ice cream parlor, try the Giaguaro flavor, and at the bar, starting at 7:30 in the morning, they serve excellent cream-filled doughnuts, which sell out quickly because they're so delicious. Prices at the residence are medium-high in high season. Restaurant prices vary slightly from year to year.
We are here right now enjoying the evening. Food was very, very tasty, service, I think the daughter of the house is running like crazy and doing a great job. As a dessert we had ice cream from the shop next door and what can I say, as you get older you get to know two super delicious flavors. A great end to a great day at the beach, we'll be back in a few days.
I went to this restaurant for lunch with friends. Having never been there before, I wasn't sure what to expect. That said, I discovered a place with excellent cuisine and polite, friendly staff. Five stars because the dishes were made with top-quality ingredients and the prices were truly competitive. I will be back. I highly recommend it.
Great service, great atmosphere, great icecream, great food, great wine. Perfect holiday spot.
We only tried the restaurant-pizzeria part. Good food, pleasant atmosphere... It's a shame the service was a bit chaotic... but nothing serious, in the end :)
A rotisserie where you can also eat at the few tables outside. We've been there twice while passing through on a bike ride through the stunning coastal nature reserve. We've always had good seafood entrees. Obviously, since it's a rotisserie, it should be considered a street food restaurant. The staff is very busy preparing food and will call you when it's ready. For us, it was an excellent stop on the hike, and for anyone looking for refreshments at Mazzanta, it's a good stop. Prices are more than reasonable. Recommended.
The apartments are lovely and air-conditioned. There's a large, comfortable shared terrace where you can relax and eat. The property is very close to the sea, just a pine forest away, making it very convenient. Below the apartments, the residence has a newsstand, bar, restaurant, and deli. We returned for the second year in a row; it was definitely an excellent choice.
Excellent grilled octopus! Portions were fairly small. Mussels marinara were a bit small... let's just say the flavor was there, but they lacked consistency! The mixed fried fish was plentiful, but the quality was a bit low! The location was beautiful and welcoming, but the plastic bucket and plastic flower were a bit unwelcoming, almost like a camping item and not suitable for a restaurant! That's why I gave it 3 stars... if instead of the plastic bucket there had been a normal dish for the shells, I would definitely have given it 4 stars! Fair price!
We ordered a couple of dishes to take out: three ravioli and a clam and mussel soup. The wait was quite long, and the portions were decidedly small and disproportionate to the price (€6 for seven ravioli). The seafood soup wasn't bad, except for a few poorly washed clams and empty or closed mussels and clams. The soup was decidedly oily, salty, and lacking in tomato substance. I'd recommend bringing bread and napkins if anyone orders soups or dishes with sauce. The taste wasn't bad, but the quantity was a shame.
The pizza was quite good, but it was indigestible. Neither I nor the guests I was with slept a wink.
We have visited the restaurant on our way. Food was okay, decent. But, we have spent around 20 euros on food and service charge was 8 euros. So, service charge for two ppl cost us nearly 1/3 of our bill. Not cool. Advice for other tourists, especially that don't speak italian, stay away otherwise they will rip you off.
We ordered three pizzas for 8:30 PM. We wanted to eat while watching the sunset by the sea, and when they arrived, the sun had already set. A 30-minute wait! The pizza wasn't pizza, so the wait was pointless.
Probably the most unfriendly service I have ever experienced. The food was average at best.
We ordered four takeout pizzas. The sight of those smells shocked me. Four flying saucers, dry as biscuits, covered in tomato sauce, because it's nonexistent. The worst pizzas of my life. I'm from Campania, so a piece of advice: change your pizza chef.
We arrived at the deli at 8:00 PM, expecting to order several portions of fish. Within 10 minutes, despite the bustle of staff at the counter, no one asked us for orders—that's fine, they must be busy. Meanwhile, the deli filled up with customers wanting to order. After another 15 minutes of waiting, a woman rang the bell to get the staff's attention. The door opened, and a member of staff took the bell away. When the woman asked, "Can we order?" The answer was a firm NO, and the man disappeared behind the kitchen door. Everyone was shocked. I can't rate the food because we obviously left, but I can rate the courtesy and welcome. One star is the minimum, and unfortunately, I can't give zero, otherwise I would have given it. There could be a thousand reasons for the long wait, and it's absolutely understandable, but the staff's reaction was truly appalling.
If I could give less stars, I would. After waiting 20 minutes, just to place an order. We used the bell on the counter and they removed it and told us we could not order. Stay away.
TURISTS STAY AWAY - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! Food was soo soo... we have spend less then 20 eur for food and then was welcomed by 8 eur service charge... this is 1/3 ofthe bill.. wow what a rip-off... and service wasn't thats great anyway... avoid this place. Not cool!!!!
