Fantastic place. The food is fresh, freshly made and the owner is a fantastic host-- really funny and ready to break into a dance when music he loves comes on. We went back three times, tried several different dishes and couldn't find fault with any of them. I highly recommended, the prices are quite fair and the food is fantastic.

A quaint and simple restaurant in Vado Ligure (Porto Vado, to be precise) where, of course, the specialty is fish! Everything is excellent, and there's a wide variety of first and second courses. Don't expect to browse a paper menu; instead, rely on the blackboard and the owner's explanations! Book ahead...always crowded, especially in the summer. Prices are in line with the quality!

We had dinner at this lovely place, close to the sea and convenient for parking. The owner is wonderful, and his manner puts customers at ease. The food is all truly, truly delicious! The fried food is definitely a plus! It's breaded with a different flour than usual. We'll definitely be back! I think it'll be a regular stop from now on. 😍

Una tappa obbligata prima di imbarcare per la Corsica. Ogni volta ci fermiamo a questo piccolo ristorante, informale e alla mano, ma che offre piatti sempre freschi e gustosi! Da provare le cozze al verde, le alici marinate, il polpo e lo spada alla ligure... ma anche i primi non deludono mai! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, gestore simpatico e musica di sottofondo perfetta!

If you want to eat good fresh fish, you're in the right place. The dishes are excellent and very generous; you can immediately smell and taste the fresh fish. The dessert is also very good. I absolutely recommend the mussels, the local specialty.

A quaint restaurant. Small but very welcoming. It was recommended to me by friends and it met my expectations. The service was exceptional; the first courses were served in a pan. I ate from appetizer to dessert and enjoyed everything. The owner was kind, and I noticed great passion in him. There's no à la carte menu; he brings a chalkboard to the table with descriptions of the dishes, which are then explained in detail by the owner himself. The fish is all very fresh. They don't have a wine list. They have a house white (which I recommend) and a couple of other bottles. The average cost is around €30-35 each, but this obviously depends on what you choose. I was satisfied. I want to return in the summer when we can eat outside.

Critico l’accoglienza pessima del titolare soltanto perché intendevo prenotare un tavolo per tre giorni dopo. Mi ha risposto che stava lavorando e per prenotare avrei dovuto telefonare il giorno dopo. Avrei aspettato, non c’era nessuna fretta da parte mia, però trovavo inverosimile dover telefonare il giorno dopo quando ero lì di presenza davanti a lui. Non c’è stato nulla da fare, mi ha mandato via. Non voglio parlare male dei liguri perché anch’io lo sono, ma certi commercianti liguri un atto di coscienza ogni tanto se lo dovrebbero fare.
