Bar del Este València Reviews
Very good restaurant with reasonable prices for delicious food. Definitely recommend to have lunch or dinner there.
Good fresh tasty. Typical South East European food. Good value for your Euros.
The kitchen is perfect, everything is very delicious. Really recommend to visit.
Food is lovely, #1borch and ruski pelmeni big thumbs up!
Great balkan food, great service! Highly recommend!
Great food, great service, and very reasonably priced. A neighborhood favorite!
All our favourite Bulgarian dishes available right here in Valencia.
Very good food and service. Recommended!
As I come from East of Europe I can confirm food here is 10/10. Must try!
Great food from the East and friendly staff! Give it a try!

Tasty homemade food.

The food was incredible, we loved everything we ordered! Our waitress was amazing too! We recommend with both hands!!!
Food was awesome here. Great if you like meat. Everything was delicious.
We loved the experience to eat there. The food is outstanding and the service friendly and welcoming.
Very kind and helpful staff! Food was nice and good drinks! We will be back!
Good restaurant with traditional. Very familiar and affordable prices. They accept only Cash.
It felt really cozy, really good food, the serving as well,10/10!!
Really good food, although the food didn’t seem seasoned enough and it tasted a little watered down. Can only pay in cash. The garlic bread was REALLY good though.
Excellent find. A delicious place to get the east european cuisine. They have a mix of Ukrainian, Bulgarian , and some other cuisine on the menu. It tastes fresh and home made. Everything we ordered was so good. Service was a bit slow but there were only two servers and the place was full. It was still worth the wait. Only cash is accepted here.
Delicious east European cuisine! My favorite is the pelmeni, but other dishes are also worth a try. The restaurant is kind of mixed with traditional Spanish bar style and east European atmosphere, really cool, I like it. The price is good but be aware that only cash is accepted.
The food here is amazing, we loved everything we ordered. My favourite dish was grilled "michi" with mustard (is a dish from the Romanian cuisine) and cabbage and dill salad...also dessert was amazing (baklava and coconut tart). Very tasty Eastern European food that was something we had never tried before.
Food is incredible!! Everything we ate was delicious.
Fantastic! Home made food, low prices!
This place is everything what I want. Authentic. Consistent portions, good price, good taste, and nice service. I will become a regular. Recommended.

Huge portions for a very affordable price and typical Eastern Europe atmosphere. At the end the waitress offered us free shots of rakija. We will be back for sure!
A very authentic place with excellent food. Most of the patrons, as well as the staff, are East European emigrants, so the dishes are cooked the way they are meant to be cooked. Really tasty and highly recommended.
Excellent food. Big portions. Delicious and very economic. Enjoy their selection of Bulgarian beer. If you like beer, you must try it. Its so much better compared to the Spanish beer. Friendly staff. Sometimes TV is a bit loud, but you might not mind it if you like football or music. Talk to the staff, they might even change the channel if you have some preferences. I recommend "Ensalata Schopska" and French fries with feta cheese.
Good quality like-home made food, tasty, clean, large selection of dishes. Very reasonable prices. Georgian, Russian, Bulgarian dishes well prepared and served.
Very much homestyle. Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian and even some Georgian & Greek dishes. In just for a late afternoon snack and it was so much food that we couldn't eat dinner. Had some slow cooked tongue and chicken livers along with shopska salad. Very tasty and good value for money. The cheburiki was also very good and you just don't find this dish anywhere. Will be back for a proper dinner later in the evening when their grill is running. Take cash.
This is not a restaurant. This is a transportive experience. One minute you’re walking in Spain the next minute you’re in a kind of Eastern European, Mos Eisley Cantina. This is no Disney Eastern Europe though. Staff can be gruff and far too direct. Shady types hold meetings. Families celebrate Granny’s birthday with glee. There’s a TV on with Bulgarian Chalga music, the Kamenitza is cold and inexpensive. There are Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Georgian dishes. Not all are amazing but some are astutely authentic. Food is inexpensive and some of it is incredibly good. I’ve had amazing tarator, mind blowing shuba and great soups and grilled meats. Cash only, because that’s authentic.
This one of our favorite restaurants in Valencia. We love the soups, breads, etc. We have tried multiple dishes and always pleased with the menu and the service. Highly recommend. The only negative is they don't take credit cards.
wow what a beautiful & authentic place. It is something different to the known places here. The Food was super delicious, cooked with heart & proud. I had also 2 Bulgarian Wines, they were also amazing with „Body“. And the service very charming and attentive. Prices also very fair. If u want to relax and have nice time, go there👍

Authentic Bulgarian food at very good prices!
Ukrainian kitchen!!
The food is nothing more authentic than all Spain... I recommend it 100% and you have to come more times to try another variety that they have
Cheap food from eastern Europe. Quality ranges between standard to very good. Everything is home made and cooked there. Borscht soup, cheburek, Russian salad and more.

Cheburek, pelmeni, borscht were good. Pork shashlik was not very good, not salted, not marinated. French fries were not salted either. Large portions, nice prices.

Bad staff and expensive
Reviews are totally overrated, coz cuisine is not corresponding to good quality. The service is awful. And atmosphere in total is really strange and not friendly. So, don’t recommend. 1/10 ☹️
Cash only ? No any card are accepted. Good surprise on the finish of a Dinner. No apologies, no "sorry, sorry...." just : " go to ATM " . Terrible service.
Prices are quite ok and food is decent too, but the owner (or manager, not sure) is originally Ukrainian and told us who's side she's on (hint: it's not Ukraine's) and started a political discussion on how she doesn't like what's happening in Ukraine but still supports you-know-who. She was also super touchy and always grabbed our shoulders while talking with us. Never will I ever go back there.
Really unpleasant place, tax avoiding as well, as they do cash only, which nobody informed us about this before eating the dishes (which were horrible by the way). Also found lots of russian products in there (beer and other drinks) which clearly shows they trade with russia. Food is not good, attitude which we received was not great, workers started discussing us not having a clue we could understand them, which gave us a very bad impression about the place. Don’t spend your time trying to find Bulgarian food in Spain, just enjoy Spanish cuisine or go to Bulgaria for decent food.
