El restaurante Espurnes es un local pequeño con terraza situado en una calle tranquila del centro de Valencia. Diría que es el "restaurante de siempre" pero con un menú gourmet que perfectamente podria servirse en un restaurante más pretensiones. La comida es espectacular y la atención muy buena. Ya he ido varias veces, tanto a comer el menú del día como a cenar de tapas y está todo buenísimo, recomiendo probar las patatas bravas! Estuvimos en nochevieja y el menú nos encantó: 3 entrantes (tartar de gambón, tataki de atún y vieiras) y varios segundos a elegir entre carne y pescado, estaba todo riquísimo. Recomiendo reservar con antelación.

Fuimos a comer y ya que no somos de Valencia pedimos que nos recomendasen platos típicos de aquí. Nos encantó todo lo que comimos. El arroz de magret de pato y setas estaba espectacular. Quizá las raciones un poco pequeñas pero repetiremos sin dudarlo.

Nos encantó este pequeño restaurante, ubicado en el centro pero en una calle tranquila. La comida nos pareció exquisita y destaco el buen servicio de todo el personal y su amabilidad, que te hacen sentir cómodo y muy a gusto. Volvería sin dudar. Lo recomiendo.

Muy atentos y amables los camareros . Comida exquisita, menú del día entresemana compuesto por 18,50€ : 3 entrantes individuales, de segundo pedimos llanda de arroz de secreto con setas ( el secreto a la brasa) buenisimo, y de postre tarta de queso. Totalmente recomendable.

Absolutely lovely place! Qué lugar tan bonito! Tenéis que probar su sándwich: Brioche de Carrilera, es el mejor! También pedimos una ensaladilla de atún, era muy rica. Las camareras fueron atentas con nosotros y amigables con nuestra 🐶

Lovely restaurant really close to the main attractions. Menu very accommodating for different tastes. I was looking for a sandwich for lunch and my partner wanted tapas. So great to have the options. Club sandwich and fries were delicious and great value. All out of Acqua de Valencia when I visited, unfortunately. Staff were very nice, but we were not warned of the 5% fee for sitting on the terrace.

This place was wonderful!! The location is right off a main road, but it wasn’t too noisy. The staff was very kind and helpful to assist us with anything we needed. Our server, Elliot, did a fantastic job and always helped us with a smile and positive attitude!! The food was also very delicious and the drinks were perfect. Great experience in Valencia!!😊

An amazing find on my recent holiday to Valencia. Was lucky to find this resturant on my first day in Valencia, stayed in Valencia for 6 nights and ate my evening meal every single night as it was that good! Loved the fish that was on offer and the cocktails were fantastic! Tried the Haus at the beach also for lunch one day and also fantastic. Staff were friendly and provided a great service. Thank you for keeping me fed while in Valencia!

The food was amazing, got served very fast and the prices are reasonable for the location of the restaurant (mac&cheese 10.90€, fries 3.90€ and tomatoes with bacon 9.90€). The serving was great and the restaurant very comfy and welcoming. Really recommend and would come again if I had the chance. Lots to choose from (would have given a chance to something sweet but didn’t have the time).

Cenamos anoche 5 personas, y todo bien, le pedí recomendación de algo que tuviera que pedir si o si y me sorprendió que me dijera que las patatas, estaban buenas si, pero creo que la carne o el arroz no deberían de pasar por alto.. el pulpo aunque estaba bueno me pareció escaso. Pero todo estaba muy bien. Por poner alguna pega siempre para mejorar es la actitud del camarero que algunas veces se me hacía demasiado serio y otras veces muy cercano… no se me pareció como no saber cómo actuar. Aún así seguro que repetimos. Muchas gracias

Encontramos el sitio de casualidad paseando por las fallas, justo tenían sitio y cenamos allí varios. Pedimos dos entrantes y tres platos principales, una cosa nada que ver con la otra. Los entrantes muy reducidos de tamaño para el precio y calidad que tienen. El calamar muy escaso y sin más, las bravas una invención demasiado extraña a la que le falta sabor por todos lados. Los entrantes la verdad que muy deficientes, ahora bien, las carnes bastante buenas. Tanto el pato, entrecot como el cordero con buen sabor y buena cantidad. Por eso digo, si vas a por los platos principales bien, pero los entrantes no los recomiendo. Recalcar que el precio por persona es una poco excesivo.

The food was very good overall. The paella was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I ordered the salmon, which was slightly overcooked, but it still had a very nice taste. The service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. Our drinks were excellent—well balanced and refreshing. Despite the small delays, the experience was enjoyable, and I definitely plan to come back again. This place has great potential and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Fuimos a comer un domingo y pese a estar en el centro no estaba muy concurrido y se estaba bien. El lugar es pequeño pero se estaba tranquilo en el interior. En resumen, ubicación guay! Tanto el servicio como la comida fueron buenas. Pedimos ensalada de tomate, un brioche y el arroz de presa. Estaba rico pero la presa un poco seca y quizá el precio por ración de arroz un poco elevado. Para beber 2 cervezas sin alcohol y 1 agua. Y para finalizar dos cafés espresso y tarta de queso. Salimos a 75€ los dos.

Restaurante céntrico y bien atendido. Comimos con reserva previa seis personas. Íbamos con expectativas altas a probar el arroz en "llanda" y no salimos plenamente satisfechos. Probamos el de carabineros (sin sabor alguno) y el de pluma en el que se precibía más el sabor del arroz. La ensaldilla de entrante fantástica y el calamar de playa, muy normalito. Para mi gusto , restaurante sobrevalorado. Servicio atento. Comedor muy mejorable.

Everyone in these reviews saying that it is either awful or amazing. I will tell you the truth. It was aight. I had a pizza and my friend had a sandwich and a big bowl of cheese and it was pretty good, probably nothing to write home about. Service was fast, no messing about. Could see waiter scanning the room like the terminator to see if everyone was okay. We don't like being bothered a lot as we eat so this was ideal Good place to go if you wanna feel like you're in a 90s style click and point video game. Everyone else there was a Sim, even swaying from side to side as they stood as if waiting for an action. Old lady in bathroom was brushing her hair and staring at me - didn't seem to be eating in restaurant, so it was a little baffling, but she seemed harmless. There was a couple beside us having a really emotional talk - they didn't have anything to eat either but their chat seemed to go well. Also, when they stood up he was about 5'4" and it shocked us.

Food is just ok especially Spanish paella, gambas had no taste. The waiter never came to ask how it was . There is lots of option for better Spanish.

Fui directamente desde el aeropuerto a este restaurante porque lo encontré online con muy buenas reseñas (que sinceramente no entiendo). Pedí la corvina y no tenía ningún parecido ni con la descripción del menú ni con la foto. Por 18€ me sirvieron aproximadamente 50 gramos de pescado, 100 gramos de patatas y literalmente medio litro de aceite. Totalmente desproporcionado y muy decepcionante en relación calidad-precio. El camarero fue amable, eso sí, pero cometió errores al hacer la cuenta, lo cual empeoró aún más la experiencia. En general, una gran decepción. No lo recomendaría.

Worst experience we had in Valencia on our last night in the city. First, the service was terrible, 3 different waiters/servers brought our food, settings, took our order and the check. They all seemed very disinterested in their customers. As for the food, it can be seen in the pictures. A cup size pan of very small shrimp with 100% raw garlic sliced over it. Tasteless. In the picture, fork for scale. Croquettas all the same, I believe cheese croquettas but hard to tell - very doughy and runny in the middle. A pan of fries, most of them old and reheated, so old that they could not be picked with a fork. Not pictured, grilled octopus that was mediocre at best. Also a picture of one of the napkins we got, obviously used before for what it looks like somebody’s schedule. Not an experience we’ll soon forget, and the only bad memory we’ll have of Valencia.

If I could give zero, I would. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was by far the worst experience of my trip to Spain. We ordered our food clearly even if my Spanish pronunciation wasn’t perfect, I remember pointing at the dish without seafood. The waiter firmly insisted the mistake was NOT their fault but ours. Makes no sense at all since I’m allergic to seafood, so why would I ever order a seafood dish? Instead of simply correcting the order, they told us we had to pay for the wrong dish AND pay again if we wanted the correct one. Their excuse was “We already made the dish, it would have to go in the trash if we made you another one for free.” Then came the most ridiculous part, they said they would try to sell the wrong dish to another table. If they can sell it elsewhere, why can’t they just make the correct one for the customer who actually ordered it? It’s astonishingly unprofessional for a restaurant to refuse to correct their own mistake and then try to resell the dish they cooked for us to someone else instead of simply replacing it. The waiter kept repeating “sorry” while still blaming us and calling the manager as if something was going to change but nothing did. If you want to call yourself a high-end restaurant, learn the basics: when the kitchen makes a mistake, you fix it. You don’t guilt the customer into paying twice. That’s not hospitality, that’s bad unprofessional business. After being frustrated and waiting forever, we finally asked to take the food home. They acted like they were going to “handle it” but still made us pay for the dish we never ordered. And the worst part? The food was terrible bland, sloppy, absolutely not worth the money or the attitude. I love Valencia and the city has amazing restaurants, but this one chooses pride over customer service and arrogance over accountability. We walked out disappointed, disrespected, and still hungry. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares about the people eating there.

if i could give it a 0 i would, mojitos too minty i felt like i was brushing my teeth, paella dry, hard and lacking chicken or passion from the chef. Prawns not sizzling and salmon straight from the ice bucket. sangria, about 1 slice of orange in there and agua de valencia lacking alcohol (if you want fanta get this) Would not recommend. For the price of it, this was a joke.
