Mi Casa Valladolid Reviews
A high-end neighborhood restaurant. It's located in Las Villas, near Vallsur. Fresh fish and seafood are expertly prepared, grilled right in front of you, as are the T-bone steaks. Expect to spend around €140 per couple, including wine. Highly recommended for celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself if you can afford it. The grilled sea bream is spectacular; it's their signature dish.
A classic in Valladolid. A brasserie restaurant located in the Las Villas neighborhood. A restaurant with a bar area and two rooms in the dining area. Classic decor. Their specialties are fish, seafood, and grilled meats. The rice dishes are also excellent, both with seafood and with lobster. Top-quality products, perfectly prepared. The price-quality ratio is correct, in line with the service and the product they offer. 100% recommended restaurant.
A great find in Valladolid and a breath of fresh air in the city. Excellent seafood and fish. I completely disagree with some comments about the prices being expensive or unclear; quite the opposite, in my opinion: honest and transparent. I will return again and again to eat the barnacles (extraordinary) at €100/kg. Anyone who thinks this price is expensive should (I won't say more). Great service, very friendly staff, and the owners are delightful. Come and enjoy!
A restaurant that surprises with its rustic yet modern ambiance, boasting super professional, well-organized, attentive, and discreet service. Their open-grilled dishes have a special charm; the sea bream was incredible. That said, as a personal note, I found it a bit pricey compared to the other dishes, perhaps due to a lack of familiarity... The quality-to-price ratio is excellent, with sublime quality and prices to match. It's definitely the perfect place for celebrations. My only minor complaint is that after enjoying the lobster, the ambrosia of peppers stuffed with seafood, the incredible grilled cuttlefish, and possibly the best chicken skewer I've ever tasted, the desserts fell somewhat short of expectations given the quality of the dishes I mentioned. Even so, I don't want to leave with a bad taste in my mouth, as we will definitely return. A 9.5 out of 10, absolutely fantastic!
As usual, this restaurant always gets it right. This time, the highlight of the visit was the Calsots, which are grilled over charcoal. Paired with lamb chops and a skewer of suckling lamb, all grilled in Sarmiento and marinated in a good Ribera wine, they make a cocktail that's hard to beat. Note for Calsot lovers: They give you a bib and gloves so you can enjoy them properly without fear of that Romesco sauce messing with your chest 😉
Magnificent produce and magnificent service. I'd known about this restaurant all my life, but I only got to experience it firsthand this month. A few weeks ago I had a business lunch there and loved it so much I wanted to return for a more special celebration. On both occasions, I ordered grilled sea bream. Juicy, cooked to perfection, and flavorful, even the roasted potatoes that came with it were delicious. On my previous visit, I tried the grilled octopus: I also recommend it. This time, we opted for some fresh clams: impressive. It's not a cheap product (let me explain... for what you pay for them, you can eat many other dishes on the menu, but I think you have to pay for quality, and in this case, it was worth it). It's also worth treating yourself from time to time. The product is excellent, and the presentation is 10/10. We also ordered the tuna tartar. Excellent, juicy, you can taste the flavor of the good avocado and the excellent tomato without taking away from the tuna. For dessert, we ordered lemon curd and cream ice cream with pine nuts. Both were delicious. Finally, I would like to highlight the exquisite service of the staff, as well as their advice. They say there's no such thing as two without three. So I hope to return.
We ate there today and the fish was excellent. We had octopus, which I must say was exquisite, although it was served cold. The clams were fantastic, and the anchovies were perfect. For our main courses, we had sea bream and baby squid—spectacular! The service was a bit slow, but very friendly. We'll be back!
Good food, very friendly staff, but the prices are high for what they offer. We were served very well and enjoyed the food, but it's unbelievable that they charge €27 for a small plate of garlic shrimp or €35 for 200g of sea bream. In short, I recommend it for the service and product, but know that it will cost you more than usual. If it had been €40 instead of €60, it would have been a 5☆.
Excellent homemade croquettes, good product overall. However, the price is extremely high.
I've been to the Micasa restaurant on the outskirts of Valladolid several times, and it's gotten worse each time. The last experience was the worst ever: very high prices, bad service, but above all, the way they cook the T-bone steaks leaves much to be desired. After specifying how we wanted the meat cooked, it arrived very cold, unseared, and poorly cooked on the grill. We told them this several times, and their solution was to reheat it and use hot plates. We paid almost €90 for that 1.2 kg T-bone steak (not cheap considering they don't know how to cook it). My father asked for his steak more well-done, and they had to bring it four times. He only ate his plate after everyone else had finished. In short, an experience I will NEVER return to. Thank you.
I'm back, it's been a while since I've eaten this badly, bad service, bad atmosphere, too much noise, disappointing food, very mediocre product, ridiculously small portions and EXCESSIVE prices, unfortunately I won't be back nor do I recommend it, it's changed a lot, before they were one of the best restaurants where you could taste the best fish and seafood in Valladolid and I've been there quite a few times with my parents
Off the top of my head... bad. Being a road worker and stopping at many different restaurants, this one, despite its very small menu, was also expensive. In my case, I had a simple macaroni for a starter (so simple that apart from a little jarred tomato sauce, they didn't serve anything else). For my main course, among the few dishes available, I ordered croquettes with a fried egg (3 croquettes, one greasy fried egg, and a few undercooked fries). For dessert, I had custard (from a tetra pack) and coffee: €13.20. In my opinion, it was both low and expensive. Anyway, I'm done for not going back.
