El Tomate Pizza

A cozy place with delicious food, software drinks and beer. Prices were fair and service was excellent.

Terrific burgers and baked potatoes. Friendly, efficient, and attentive waitresses. And good people running the place! I accidentally left my credit card there and the owner mailed it back to me registered mail the next morning.

The pizza and wings were 10 out of 10. So delicious and flavorful. We really enjoyed the food.

Stumbled upon this gem by chance. People talk about how great the pizza is and I’m sure that’s legit -They also have the best green chili cheeseburger I have ever had! And the jalapeño poppers are delicious. I hope this place is around for a very long time.

Delicious food and we were served near close. We were from out of town and weren't aware of the time change driving from guadalupe mountains to Van Horn. Great service as well!!

After traveling 7 hours we were hungry. We truly enjoyed this local restaurant. Staff very friendly! Ceasar salad we shared, wings perfect and the pizza was great. Stop by this local joint when your in Van Horn. They have BEER!

Stayed at Hampton inn across interstate from them. We were told they don't deliver and were closed on Sunday. They were open and delivered pizza and drinks very quickly. Food was hot and fresh, tasted great. Thanks

Prices were more than fair, especially given the pretty large portions. Would definitely recommend this place. A few other tables had pizza and it looked great. We had the patty melt and the club, both great choices.

The pizzas were smaller than anticipated - the mediums were a normal small and the larges were what I was expecting the medium to be. However, we had a great gluten free crust and all the pizzas were delicious.

I rarely leave reviews for restaurants, but I felt like I should write this. Me and my father waited for over 40 minutes for our food when they stated it would be about 15. Why tell us 15 if we had to sit in chairs for 25? I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️ The food was somewhat decent. Our order was rushed because they took an order of 20 pizzas 20 minutes before they closed. Children around us were screaming and running around. Obviously the parents didn’t care. 🤦‍♀️ The waitress was trying her best which I appreciate, shout out to her for being cool about the whole thing. I recommend coming earlier in the day to get your food. We got a Texas shaped slice of pizza, thanks!

I came here and ordered a pizza, and it was extremely thin, very small, and quite light. Honestly, it doesn’t seem worth the $19.22 charge. I think if you go to Love’s or Pilot, you’ll get a much better meal.
