Sabrositas Van Nuys Reviews
We had a craving for pupusas, so we set off to find some for dinner. Boy oh boy, did we find the place for pupusas!! The restaurant is clean and open. Wonderful music played, not too loud, very nice. Our waitress was sweet, helpful and quick, seemed happy to help. The food, omg, the food!!!! We all had pupusas, different flavors, so we could share. These are the best Ive had in 40 years, and Ive been LOOKING!! OH.... and did I mention they are a very nice size, and super inexpensive!! We fed the 3 of us, and took a bunch home, all for about $50!!! I HIGHLY recommend going here!!!!!
Tried their mini pupusas and that’s all I go for now. Cmon 10 for 13. It’s worth it .
Great food and costumer service

I have been there before, but now it is under new management I guess... I really liked the new atmosphere because it doesn't look like a regular Salvadoran restaurant. The food is really good, customer service is nice and the place is perfect! A highly recommended spot in the valley.
Ordered on Postmates. I got the pupusas revueltas (not the mini ones) and loved them. They were a good size and arrived fresh and hot. Definitely recommend!
We are visiting from Houston,TX ....found this place and OMG food and service is amazing. Portions are very big, good prices and great drink selection of imported beer. 10 Stars!!!
I came in for pupusas and tried the pork with cheese and just plain cheese ones and they were both bomb. Satisfied my cravings and taste buds I highly reccomend this place ! & I love the waitress Bianca shes super sweet, welcoming, and attentive to the customers even when it gets super busy.
Loved the vibes and atmosphere. Great music, great drink, tasty food. Parking can be challenging, but I can't wait to come back. Highly recommended
I recently had the pleasure of trying pupusas from this amazing spot, and let me tell you — it did not disappoint! The pupusas were perfectly cooked, with a golden, crispy exterior and a warm, gooey interior.

Love their pupusas. Great deal, and good service. I enjoyed the DJ they had… added to the atmosphere.
Great fried corn tamales plate. Pupusas are legit. They give complimentary chips and queso. Service is very slow it took a long time for food. I had also ordered the big breakfast, but unfortunately, the sausage was so dry and overcooked, but did not want to reorder because it would have taken forever.. But the other foods I ordered were very good. I'll be back!
Ordered carne asada with shrimp plate, chicharon and tortilla plate, chicharon and queso pupusa and fried plantains. All the good were good with the exception of chicharon plate. It was too dry and cooked too well to my liking. Maybe if the meats were fatty, it would have been good. Otherwise, it was a good surprise to be inside this little gem. The place was bigger inside and well-kept. And ample parking in the back!
I've only really been in for Pupusa, the ones that you see advertised so clearly out front. They don't tell you on the sign that they're mini, they also don't tell you that it actually is $15. Both to me are fine, I read the reviews before and knew what I was getting. I just think it could be advertised more clearly. The pupusa themselves, no matter what size are delicious. I mix em up, 5 revualtas and 5 chichiron. They are great, the curtido is flavorful and fresh. I enjoy their food, would try more but prefer pupusa when eating Salvadoran. I only deducted the star because this place is always dead, nobody there. What's up with that, it's got a good location. It's not very updated inside. The service is great. I recommend this place if you just wanna get some pupusa to go.

The food is good, but the portion is small, i ordered 10 mini pupussa and one steak eggs with rice totaled up to almost $33, probably our last order from here.
This was my first time at this place and I thought I was going to love the pupusas but I have never bought pupusas so small like this ones. I always buy them somewhere else for the same price and double the size but because I was in the area I wanted to try them. I think the owner should hire somebody who really knows how to make Salvadorian pupusas because the sauce and the cabbage doesn't taste like Salvadorian at all.

Worse restaurant the pupusas have no flavor, super small for that price this place is a ripped off and the curtido was horroble too. Never again.
they charged me full price for happy hour items Also I asked for a glass of water and the lady told me you need to give me a minute as if I didn’t already know I needed to do so… I didn’t get my water until I was already asking for the check..? Also they advertise that they put shrimp on the Michelada’s but they don’t they only put cucumber… It was my first time here I’m not ever coming again fortunately there’s a lot of other places for me to go…
Honestly, I didn’t wanna have to do this, but I feel it’s only right. False advertising, they have the biggest sign, their only sign says 10 for $10 Pupusas and they are not, it’s not that they are much more expensive. It’s the fact that we are being lied to. They shouldn’t feel surprised when they get this nice lawsuit coming their way! ✌️
Was a out to order on ubereats when i was asking the family what they wanted after a hard worked week. This restaurant states they close at 9 on the app, but instead, they closed at 8:45. Reducing food waste and being able to close the time is fine and all, but if thats the case, THEN UPDATE YOUR HOURS ON THE APP INSTEAD OF STRANDING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. TLDR: UPDATE YOUR HOURS ON THE UBEREATS APP SINCE YOU GUYS CLOSE AT 8:45 and not 9
