Superb service! Amazing food: a pâté to start that was out of this world, sirloin steak with tuna sauce, and buckwheat ravioli stuffed with venison and fresh blueberries that were superb. We'll be back to try all the desserts!!!!

This hotel was a sensational discovery for us during a long hike from South Tyrol to Plemont. Nestled in a side valley right at the foot of the Sacro Monte di Varallo, we were warmly pampered. Recently renovated and very comfortable rooms (currently only four), a splendid terrace, and an excellent restaurant. And the mother's cooking was a delight, making it worth returning for lunch the next day.

We're staying at the hotel and have been pampered since our arrival. The owners are attentive, the rooms are clean, and linens are changed daily. The breakfasts are unforgettable...all the cakes, spreads, biscuits, and homemade jams were expertly made. The restaurant lived up to its promises, offering a wealth of local dishes, the "bagna cauda" being a standout.

Consider 4 days, it rained very heavily so I can't say more. Mom and daughter were really kind, good/excellent dishes, good wine list. Recommended for a nice weekend. Sacro Monte di Varallo.

A lovely terrace for summer lunch, with excellent home cooking and generous portions at a reasonable price: you can taste the care taken in selecting the ingredients and in cooking them. The service was efficient and fast, and a small note on the welcome: unlike the reviews we'd read, we found the lady who served us to be a bit unfriendly (everyone has a bad day, eh! And, in any case, you can't be nice to everyone :-) ).

The food was good, and the portion sizes were fine. The service at the beginning was a complete disaster. We asked about vegetarian options, and the server loudly berated us, asking how we could possibly be vegetarian. The service remained very distant throughout our stay. We didn't feel welcome at all, which is why I can't give it more stars. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for genuine hospitality. It simply doesn't exist there. Some of the other customers were mocking the staff and making fun of their unfriendly attitude. At the end, when it came time to pay, they finally wished us well. I can't comment on the hotel; thankfully, we didn't stay there.
