Bosisio Varese Reviews
Posto molto carino e particolare! Vende anche the e teiere giapponesi. Approvato :)
An excellent pastry shop with good products and kind, friendly staff. It's a nice place to take a break and indulge in delicious desserts.
A re-opening with a bang Friendly and always courteous staff, truly top-notch lunch breaks, and generous aperitifs. New management update: Excellent for breakfast, but also for lunch and aperitifs. I recommend the Sakura, a unique but excellent drink. The aperitif platter is full of Japanese specialties, a real treat for Varese.
Good coffee, beautiful place (especially the storefront) and friendly staff. Would go by again.
We tried this place, recently taken over by a young and dynamic couple who also run Taeko Ramen. They were extremely kind and professional. The brioches were baked with a melt-in-the-mouth dough, and most importantly, they had a filling, which isn't a given in Varese these days. A few weeks earlier, we'd also tried their aperitivo cocktails, both classic and revisited. A special mention goes to the Negroni with black tea and caramel.
Top !!
Amazing cocktails, friendly staff, and really nice location. Quiet and cool! Recommended.
Ho ordinato un buon ginseng dal prezzo ragionevole. Mi è piaciuta molto l’atmosfera amichevole del luogo che, anche se un po’ piccolo, era molto curato nell’apparenza.
More for tea than coffee. Very beautiful and well-kept atmosphere, very kind and knowledgeable owner. Definitely recommended.
I had the pleasure of visiting this splendid Japanese tea room and was thrilled! The ambiance is meticulously crafted, with elegant furnishings and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The tea selection is truly vast and of the highest quality. I chose a fragrant white tea, with a delicate and enveloping flavor, served with great attention to detail. To accompany it, I tried the dorayaki with azuki red bean jam: soft, perfectly sweet, and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to recommend the best combination of tea and traditional sweets. A must-see for anyone who loves Japanese culture and wants an authentic tea experience. I'll definitely be back! 💖
Excellent atmosphere, just like the rest of the place before. It's a shame the back room feels cold, renovated but with a style that doesn't quite match the original. The service also needs updating, the place is chaotic; you can't sit comfortably because the tables are positioned haphazardly. Prices are high, €5 for tea—excellent, but at least they should include a biscuit, something. Instead, they just serve hot water with tea already brewed. As far as I know, it could have even been made from a teabag. At least if you really serve fine teas, the least you can do is prepare it yourself, watching the preparation. Use tea filters and tea holders appropriate for table service. To be reviewed.
Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. After a 20-minute wait without even looking at the menu, no one showed up. After 30 minutes, we and four other tables who had been waiting for just as long left.
Terrible service, rude staff. We sat down for a snack/aperitif. After about ten minutes, despite the place being empty, we were only brought one menu. We asked for at least a second menu, since there were three of us and the menu had a lot of choices. After a rude response, another menu was brought to us after 15-20 minutes. After another 10 minutes (30 minutes after we sat down, I repeat, the place was empty), we were asked for our order. We inquired about the aperitif service, and were told it would start in five minutes. Without asking if we wanted to start ordering, or even if we actually wanted an aperitif, our order was not taken, and we were once again left waiting without even being able to order a drink. After another 10 minutes, we asked if we could order and were told that the aperitif would start in another 30 minutes and that we'd have to wait, despite explaining that if it wasn't yet time, we'd order individual dishes without the aperitif service. We waited a few more minutes without being served, and after more than 45 minutes had passed without even being able to order, we left. We noticed that the same poor service was experienced at another table, where the staff left without even ordering for the same reasons as us. 5 customers lost in one fell swoop and at least €100 in drinks, considering our menu choices. I'm very sorry, but for me, that's a big NO.
The atmosphere is cold in its manner and style, the service is, to say the least, lacking, and customer care is often neglected, which is what allows you to continue your business... I have the impression that everything is done superficially these days; there's no longer the desire to "pamper" the customer, to pay attention... Sit down, consume, and leave, but be careful, because when you leave you'll also find yourself having to deal with some crazy amounts. €5 for a macha tea, which was the equivalent of a dirty, cold glass of water!!! I would have even accepted it if it had at least been accompanied by a cookie... I would have tried to make sense of it. In short, it was a legalized robbery, but the mistake was mine for trusting that place. Obviously, I'll never go back.
