We came here for lunch, and the restaurant was completely full, which is always a good sign. The crowd was a mix of people in dirty work clothes and others in business suits. I always enjoy seeing that kind of variety, which is typical of Italy. The portions were extremely large, and the food was delicious. The service could be better, but it's understandable given the size of the restaurant. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by to try more of the menu.

We gave the restaurant a second chance because their view on the lake of Varese is unique. However, it did not change our mind on their food: the food is not tasty at all. This time three of our dishes were forgotten and we received them 20 min after the others. On top of that, we were served the wrong food: not what we had ordered.

Very beautiful view. Good service. Friendly environment. Good menu. The music is inappropriate to the place they play hard rock, not convenient for eating. Although it was asked to change it, it was not accepted. Rather ignored the request.

I'm not sure how many stars to give.... the food is of very good quality but the service not so much! If your dining as a large group of people... the service is shocking. Long wait whilst seating and ordering and then they forget about you until your ready to leave!

Service and quality do not correspond to the prices. Little attention paid to the customer, long waiting. Pasta was missing one of the key ingredients and the bill contained additional items that we had not ordered.

A word of warning about the restaurant Volo A Vela on Lake Varese (next to the gliding school). We were ripped off in a big way. On arrival we were given an English menu with prices and proceeded to order based on these prices. However when we were given the bill we were charged very different prices to the ones listed on the menu. When we disputed the prices they showed us an 'Italian' menu which we were told had the correct 'new' prices! The so-called new prices were substantially higher than what we had expected to pay and we feel we were scammed! It was clearly not explained to us at any stage that the prices would be different and in fact, when we ordered our wine, which we were told by the two waiters would cost a certain amount, still ended up being more at the cash register. Given that the food was ordinary and the service was minimal, this topped off a most unpleasant experience.
