Cozy local cafe good vibes friendly staff nice art on the walls and very good locally roasted coffee!
Best matcha I had in Ventura 💚
These people are friendly and I asked for a little something and no questions asked it came as I asked, it's why I love this place. Breakfast bowls with avacado is To die for!✅
I had the dirty chai special, hot tea. It was the best I've ever had anywhere!
Very good food at reasonable prices especially for the area
Great avocado toast. Just needed a little lemon juice, Pepper, and salt.
Really good avocado toast! Friendly service.
The best! Food and coffee shop around! You won't be disappointed!
Killer breakfast croissants! Clean, relaxing atmosphere.

favorite coffee shop in town
Very smooth cappuccino
Friendly, fast and good!
The coffee is great!
Love this place
The coffee is very unique and amazing. Alexis is an employee that is so great and I would definitely recommend her. I love the avocado toast and I can’t wait to come back.
Best avocado toast I've had. Try the #3 (without onion)!
Best avocado toast and perfect coffee. Memorable/thoughtful service. Thank you
Delicious! I got a latte from their specials menu, and a breakfast burrito with bacon. Price was reasonable in comparison to other coffee shops with food. I don’t think they charged extra for substituting regular milk for almond milk. Cozy seating inside and great service! New fave.
I love getting their delicious, filling avocado toast after dawn patrol. Great ambiance, good service, and a wonderful selection. You can choose from multiple options or build your own avocado toast. Very reasonable prices. Have visited three times since I discovered it last week. Highly recommended.
We come here most weekends and it is our go to for a tasty breakfast and coffee. The coffee comes from a local roaster and is fantastic. The breakfasts are all delicious, but I especially love the avocado toast, which has like 6 or 7 different varieties at an affordable price. The donuts in the same lot are also delicious with some fresh coffee from copper coffee pot.
Had the breakfast burrito and a hot Latte. The burrito was delicious with plenty of fillings, and it came with a delicious salsa on the side. Really relaxed and chill environment inside with a friendly staff. The menu had plenty of breakfast options. I'll definitely be back to try more of the food!
We had a number two avocado toast bacon hot honey tomato red onion and Parmesan let me tell you it was the best. Fresh fragrance we also had a breakfast burrito that was also fresh and delicious. Paired it up with a lavender latte which I've never had. As I say fragrant and fresh and smooth mouth watering.
Tried the breakfast croissant and breakfast burrito and both were tasty and priced well. Friendly owner and service. Cozy indoor and outdoor seating available. Limited but free parking on site. Would eat here again.
It’s a hidden gem of Ventura. As a local I love it - great breakfast food, amazing coffee and smoothies. You can still have breakfast with coffee in under $15. Imagine…)
Super cute coffee shop in Ventura. Got there egg bowl, and house special drink Hillside Honey Oat. Both very good. Will definitely come back and support local coffee shop.
A stellar coffee option near Midtown and Downtown Ventura. Baristas are always helpful to modify drinks with espresso or cold brew, or offer suggestions! Intimate space inside with local art, or comfortable outdoor seating option.
Great lil coffee shop where everybody knows your name . The owners are a great family and truly support the youth of Ventura . But most of all Good coffee and great food
This is a small coffee shop with a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, bottled water, smoothies and juices are sold here. Menu prices for the various coffee drinks are more reasonable than national chain coffee shop offerings.
Honestly I love the food best avocado toast EVER.... BUTTTTT the restaurant and staff should stick to their hours.I came from LA today just to bring my family and cousins to eat and when I checked if they were open they said they were but when I Arrived they close the whole hour early. Really sucks
Super friendly! What a discovery in a tiny, scenic little town on John Muir’s route!!! One of those places I wish I lived near so I could try everything!!
Good quality for the best prices in the city. Friendly fast service. It’s quickly becoming a regular stop for us because it’s good and affordable enough for us to get regularly
Egg bowl was amazing! The cold brew was solid also. Fairly priced and great service.
Went for the first time on a Sunday around noon. I loved this place! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious and the sandwich was as well. I had a cold brew coffee with cinnamon bun sweet foam. 🤤 Plenty of seating with cool atmosphere. It’s connected to another place that’s a deli. They partner with that deli to make the sandwiches- I had the croissant sandwich. They also sell the local roasted coffee- love supporting local businesses. I recommend for breakfast or brunch!
Copper Pot Restaurant is an absolute gem! Their avocado toast is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The prices are also very reasonable, making it an excellent spot for a delicious yet affordable meal for bunch. I ordered the #2 and customized it by swapping out onions for pesto sauce, and it was a fantastic choice! The pesto added a rich, herby depth that elevated the dish even more. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great food at a great price!”
Dear diary, an unexpected spiritual experience took place as I broke bread. It felt zesty, but I still ordered an iced coffee drink with maple and salt. TWas divine. I ordered my breakfast croissant with sausage and turkey because mama didn’t raise no fool. I came up for air and forgot to take a picture. I’ll be back. That’s for damn sure.
Excellent organic coffee in a most comfortable atmosphere. Just a nice place to hang out drinking what is possibly the best coffee in Ventura!
This is the 2nd time I've been here and what a great local gem! Parking is tight, the space is occupied by several establishments but don't let that turn you off. This is a great little meeting spot on the corner of Seward and Thompson next to Fosters Donuts. The service was friendly and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. Perfect spot to start your day.
Great place for a coffee and sone avocado toast! While I was there, an employee was wiping down, handles and door entryways all around the store. I appreciate this attention to detail and cleanliness.
We are in love with THIS PLACE! The Croissant Sandwich was so good! Fresh veggies! Pesto! Super fresh Avocado! You can build your own everything and their add on options are amazing. Croissant was flakey and perfect ! Support this local gem! Service was amazing. Very clean establishment. Prices are great! Cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu.
Amazing local spot to hang out and work/study. Prices are amazing and food and drinks tasted great!! I almost don't want to leave a review because it's such a cool hidden gem, but gotta spread the love for the owners to keep this joint running 😜
WOW 🤩 I ordered their house special honey oat latte and their egg bowl, and it was absolutely amazing! Took a photo only after eating half of it and realizing that I need to write them a review! Their egg bowl is plentiful and the potatoes and eggs were cooked to perfection. It’s so well seasoned and I am loving that we got to pick up breakfast here!

I thought that this coffee shop was absolutely amazing! I came in at 2pm today and my server was super sweet and my drink tasted amazing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming! The music was great! The food was delicious, I got the #1 avocado toast (which had tomato, olive oil, and lemon pepper) and I got a cappuccino and both items were absolutely delicious. I will be coming back!
I've been to all the places that serve coffees and this is the best. I was tired of paying 8 to 9 dollars for coffee at the national place and at the place be CMH and by 2 trees in east ventura I'm so happy to have found this place. Kudos to the young entrepreneur Your doing a great job. Capitalism at its best
I went in for the first time yesterday and was greeted with great service from a gentleman with brown hair and a girl named liz! The drink honey oat latte was superb and the seward sandwich was delicious crunchy and a good price for its size. I will definitely be back for more
Yummy breakfast croissant sandwich. They’re connected to Valentino’s so the food is solid. Coffee was decent too
Cozy coffee place. Staff is always friendly and fast. The decor makes feel like a 90's vibe, which being a millienal I can definitely appreciate lol. The Hillside hot/cold is my absolute favorite and I get it every time.
Must try! Avocado toast was amazing. Dirty Chai was tasty. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was chill. Parking terrible, but they are worth the walk. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to folks

We love walking to copper pot! We appreciate the variety of milks they offer, the quality, coffee, beans, and they’re reasonable price prices!
Another weekend, another coffee review ✨ For this spot… I had mixed feelings. Walking in, I loved the vibe—super cozy couches where you can sit while waiting, plus tables if you want to dine in. They also had beautiful paintings displayed (I believe for sale), which made the space feel really unique and fun to look around. I started with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla oat latte. Unfortunately, it was pretty bland and lacked flavor, so I had to go back and get a side of cold foam to make it better. BUT their açaí smoothie?? SO good. Super fresh, not overly sweet—honestly perfect. I’d definitely come back just for the smoothies over the coffee. For food:• The #2 avocado toast was AMAZING. The spicy honey drizzle with fresh bacon took it to another level.• The Seward sandwich was just okay—very plain (egg, ham, tomato, onion), nothing special.• The breakfast burrito though… sooo good. Paired with their serrano sauce, it hit every time. I’d 100% order that again. Service-wise, they only had one girl working the front—taking orders and making drinks—and she handled it so well. Super sweet and did an amazing job. Overall, not a bad experience at all—but I’d come back for the food and smoothies, not the coffee. 🤍
Always good except the last visit when the cook had to go home so they weren't serving food unfortunately.
Nice chill spot..good spot for a coffee and a little downtime. Good coffee too . Felt welcomed.
Very cute place with decent prices
Only open one month. Owned by the people who also bring you Valentino's Pizza right next door. I had a caramel mocha with almond milk. It was yum. Not too sweet and very smooth. (They get their beans from local roaster, Calioh.) Also tried the breakfast bowl with eggs, cheese, sausage, tomato, tots and some other potatoes. Don't forget to ask for their homemade salsa if you want a little heat. I think the sausage could have been more broken up, and it would have been kind of bland if not for the salsa. But overall it was good and filling.
The food is okay. I mean, I only got the avocado toast with egg. But I'm not sure what it was but there was a taste I didn't like. I also hate how soggy the bread got and so everything fell apart. I did enjoy how lovely the staff was. The iced coffee I got was great but I definitely didn't need a double shot 😅 I'd say check it out if you're in town. My sons bagel looked bomb.
Coffee shop with breakfast menu. The Copper caramel dulce was good. Not sure why their flavored drinks come with a double shot by default. That’s too much for a 12 ounce so I asked for just one shot. The breakfast burrito was good on the first bite, I think because we were hungry - but as we started to get through it, we realized there was no flavor. I think they forgot to salt it or give it any other seasoning. We went and grabbed the hot sauce on the counter. The burrito was a pretty good size, so $9.50 was a fair price. I would come back and try some of their other flavored coffee drinks.

This was a coffee shop with all the right pieces of equipment but is lacking in customer services and knowledge in coffee. My drink was served too hot and made too fast. I had no line yet the barista was on his phone with an ear bud in, texting or swiping.
food was ok, the bread was burnt you can tell from the char on the edges. i didn’t mind i guess the avocado made up for it. The tomatoes chunks were way too big so i took most of them off but overall i ate it so there’s that. chai latte was good nothing crazy.

Great coffee, but damp customer service except if you're a local, you get a greeting, name, and even a thank you after a tip, not that I was expecting customer service, but thought gratuity and appreciation was industry standard. The young lady up front represents someone who only serves quality service to the demographics that are leftists. There are better coffee joints with vibrant service.

Very much not flexible with toast menu (even if they have 'build your own toast') Could not have just a ham and cheese toast, I HAD to have avocado with it. Very $$$. Cartier of coffee shops. Slow service. Definitely not coming back
I bought an açaí bowl yesterday and it was the smallest amount of açaí base I’ve ever received. I’ve purchased here before and it was a decent size so I went back. There was maybe an inch of açaí base this time. For $10 I probably won’t go back.

We drove out of our way, and arrived at 3:30p on holiday MLK Monday, to find they were already closed. The window clearly states that they close at 4p, with no other signage about adjusted holiday hours. They lost our business. 🤷🏻♀️ A public notice of adjusted hours would have been helpful.
