An excellent option for enjoying authentic Spanish cuisine, prepared with top-quality ingredients and following original recipes, without any pretension. I've been eating here for 25 years whenever I'm in this beautiful port city. This time I tried the cocido soup...one of the BEST soups I've ever had! The pork loin in green sauce...a must-try, a delicacy that should be eaten with a spoon! I recommend turning up the air conditioning; it's hot!
The food was delicious and it was even better than I expected. The price is reasonable, and they accept credit cards.
Excellent Spanish-style cuisine. With great seasoning and quality. It's already a classic in Puerto Rico. Obviously, if you also have a few drinks and a bottle of wine, the price will be higher, but the experience is worth it.
Excellent place to go for lunch. The paella, the black rice, the desserts, the drinks. Everything was delicious.
The entire staff was very friendly! The food was exquisite! I went one day and couldn't leave the rest of my stay in Veracruz!
The best Spanish food in Veracruz. I especially recommend the Galician-style octopus, the chipotle meatballs, the paella, chistorra (a type of sausage), black rice, and the flan. Everything is truly delicious. The atmosphere is very men's-friendly, and smoking is allowed. The prices are high, but it's well worth it because the food is delicious!
Delicious!!! One of the best restaurants in Veracruz! The Galician-style octopus, Veracruz-style tongue, or with onion sauce are delicious! The garlic soup and Galician-style octopus are my favorites. They never lose their flavor; they're EXCELLENT, definitely one of my top 10 restaurants. The best paella I've ever had.

It's not a trendy or Instagrammable place, but it's a place to feel good. It's my dad's favorite! I like the "menu of the day" vibe it has, very friendly and down-to-earth. The waiters are super nice, and they always say yes to my mom's "secret request" about patxaran 😂... There are some things they make amazing, like tripe! I don't eat bitxo de mar, but dad says Galician-style octopus is his top favorite! I didn't really like the blood sausage, but it was great! I guess considering Burgos is so far away, it's the closest thing you can get... I'd prefer it boiled, not roasted or fried; it's very greasy... It's unforgivable that the grilled mushrooms turned out to be champignons... a real letdown! I need something more Basque on the menu... Squid, beans, and T-bone steak? And goxua for dessert!!! And a pintxos bar for the morning? I'll drop by... 😜
8 want to co.e eat here but haven't yet. Looking forward to it 😀 😊
good
This restaurant is a great discovery! Delicious food, excellent service, and a great location. The Galician-style octopus, meatballs, and tripe are especially delicious. Of course, it's not cheap; the octopus is especially expensive. However, if you want to eat well once in a while, it's worth the extra money.
La paella es deliciosa, también estuvo muy rico el salmón. Los precios son un poco caros.
The food was terrible, the dishes were simply indecent, they didn't taste good. And to top it all off, they charge you for acorn-fed Iberian ham as if it were top-quality, acorn-fed Iberian ham. The service was fine, very friendly. Please call Kitchen Nightmares!
No matter which server you get, the service is poor. They take your order rudely, and they don't even come to your table once the dishes are served. The first time I visited, I thought the service was bad because it was packed, but the second time, we weren't even half the tables, and it was still very bad. For non-locals, I don't recommend going at all; there are many options where the food is better and the service is infinitely better.
