Antojitos Tere Veracruz Reviews
Great local comfort food!! Delicious tamales, antojitos veracruzanos!! Great desserts, flan cake and creamy jellow!!
You can't leave Veracruz without trying them. Excellent variety, super delicious, and best of all, at a very affordable price. Just so you know, if you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. The facilities leave much to be desired, but they more than make up for it with their delicious flavor 😋
🧐It turns out there are two food vendors in that same hallway. Antojitos Karina is open until 1:00 p.m. (breakfast) and Antojitos Tere opens, I think, at 7:00 p.m. (dinner). I went for breakfast and it was delicious, the service was fast, and everything they give you is a very generous portion (empanadas, picadas, quesadillas, fried plantains, etc.). The price is reasonable. Everything is freshly made. It's a hallway with chairs and a few tables. I've been going there for years. I highly recommend it! 😃😋😋👌🏼👌🏼
Food is excellent!!
A traditional spot, passed down through generations, filled with great memories for us locals. It's a small, unassuming entryway, yes, not very comfortable, but if you settle in and enjoy your meal, that's ultimately the essence of the place, what makes it unique. For me, it's already an icon of this port for breakfast and dinner. Everything is delicious, reasonably priced, and the portions are generous. I really like it!
Everything is delicious and freshly made. Most items start at 15 pesos. Chicken tostadas, shredded beef, picadillo, empanadas, garnachas, salbutes, panuchos, prepared potatoes, fried plantains, stuffed chiles, and tamales. They have options filled with cheese, chicken, mushrooms, squash blossoms, huitlacoche, brains, shredded beef, and picadillo. Drinks: Soft drinks, atole, and agua fresca
So rich, delicious and traditional handy craft local meals in Veracruz's downtown
Okay
The food was delicious, but the place is a hallway and an outdoor area; it feels a bit cramped in the hallway and there are no tables outside to eat at.
The food is relatively good, although it tastes too greasy and sometimes the grease even oozes out. The service is good, although it's a bit slow because of the crowds. The only bad thing was that a spoonful spilled onto the counter where you eat, although it was a small one.
A little spot steeped in tradition for Veracruz snacks. The owners are very attentive and friendly. The zazon is excellent, the portions are very generous, and the prices are reasonable. A simple but highly recommended place.
In terms of price, it's very good. But in terms of quality, it's nothing like the other "Antojitos Tere" stand. They have a long way to go to compete with them (even though they're supposedly the same). It's a real shame they closed the location near the municipal building; the service there was very good and the food was excellent. At this location, the service isn't bad, but it's not good either, and as for the food, I usually avoid them, but out of nostalgia I wanted to give them another chance. They left a very bad taste in my mouth. The empanadas were dripping with oil; when you bit into them, it ran all over your mouth...
Long waits; you have to stop for your food, napkins, and sauces, even to pay. The tables are chipping. It's so hot in that hallway that even a fan doesn't adapt; it's a passageway for people who live in the back, passing by with their trash cans. The picadillo is overly seasoned (cumin and thyme). The staff is unhelpful, and they have restaurant prices for a neighborhood with no customer service. I definitely won't be back.
