OCHOA Veracruz Reviews
Ochoa's probably one of the best restaurants that the City of Veracruz has, food served prety fast, the preparation is superior than all we had the opportunity to visit. I could add that the flavor is so unique that it conserved the tradition of excellency quality.
Excellent food with tradicional taste
Great seafood, really good service and nice vibes, went twice already!
Same excellent cuisine since 39 years back
One of the best crab legs in Veracruz. The sauce when you order it prepared is delicious, spicy but very good. All the seafood is prepared very well. The service is very good and the restaurant is very pleasant. There is live music. The natilla they give you when you share your location on Facebook is delicious. Highly recommended. Here's the menu.
Very good.
Very tasty, I'd never been before, the portions could be a little bigger, but the flavor was good! I would go again.
Good service, and the place is runned by their owners and that´s always a good thing.
Good local food if want to live the native experience, areas of opportunity though
Fast service and inexpensive
The place is nice, it's pretty and clean, the waiters even though there weren't any people there weren't very helpful, I asked one of the waiters what the panuchos were like and he couldn't tell me, they should show or let their staff try what they sell so they can recommend and answer questions from the diners. The food was good, the quantity is good, the prices of some things are affordable others not so much but they are still worth it, they have promotions and the music was nice, overall it was good, too bad I didn't like the panuchos, I didn't know what they were like and I ordered them to try something new, I thought that's how they were only served there but I realized that's how traditional panuchos are, would I return to the place? Yes but it wasn't one of my favorites.
Portions of the tostadas fell short of seafood, good taste
Unfortunately, there was no electricity, no air conditioning, and everyone was shaken, but we were treated cordially. I realized the importance of the climate in such a hot, enclosed space. The food isn't great, as I'd read in the reviews, and the price seemed rather high for what I got. I ordered the crab legs, but they gave me "seafood pasta," which they called "250 pesos." It's a middling dish that wasn't even enough for a starter. The appetizers were quite reasonably priced and good if you like spicy food.
This place is ok, nothing amazing but decent food. Not exactly cheap but not bad. The place was completely empty at 7 pm on a Tuesday night. We had 3 different types of shrimp, the best was al ajillo. I also had the seafood empanada which was ok.
The place isn't that big, but it has a play area for kids, which is a huge plus. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The shrimp tasted like something out of a refrigerator. Personally, I didn't like the food. The waiter was very friendly, but the service was extremely slow, and they didn't know what they had in stock. I really wouldn't recommend this restaurant; for the price, I think there are better options.
It's a pleasant, family-friendly place. The play area is very convenient for watching your children and eating at the same time. The staff is very slow. Regarding the prices for quality and quantity, the service is quite uneven. I think they should improve the quality and quantity of the dishes for the price. The dishes are very limited in quantity. The waitress doesn't know what's in the dishes or what their inventory is. They should look for a better option.
