Ristorante Due Lanterne Verduno Reviews
Tasty food and nice staff
The food was good, enough parking spots and very good service!
The restaurant is easy to reach, with ample parking, a warm welcome, and professional service. It's a shame the paper placemats ruin the atmosphere (I recommend the traditional white tablecloth). The classic appetizer (vitello tonnè, raw meat), the fabulous truffle risotto 😋, then the delicious bagna caouda, with a wide selection of vegetables (all raw except for the potatoes) and the surprise of a hard-boiled egg, finished with Barolo stew and fantastic baked potatoes... Delicious dessert, quality wine, and hot chocolate to finish! We took a €55 package that included a tasting of Grinzane Cavour and the Vieux Moulin distillery.
I was invited to a birthday party. I loved the place, the kindness of the staff, and the food was excellent. The tagliolini with white and black truffles were delicious. The zabaglione cake was FABULOUS, and I'm not a big fan of sweets. I ordered it from a pastry shop in Bra. Recommended for groups of friends, families, and couples. Excellent value. Recommended!
Extra!
The food is good, but I was there with a group of tourists, so I only saw it operating as a mass tourism restaurant. Truffle-based food. I recommend the truffle tartare 😋
We were a group of 11 and we loved our food, they were really nice and we enjoyed our lunch.
The restaurant offers a very good culinary experience with attentive and courteous service!!! The welcoming interior and spacious rooms make it ideal for any type of event. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Ample parking. I recommend it for a positive dining experience without hesitation!!!
A good Piedmontese restaurant. The raw appetizers, like the sausage and the raw meat, were fresh and high-quality. The tagliolini with sausage sauce were truly excellent, and the portion was just right, even though I could have eaten two, I loved them so much. I skipped the main course, which is another reason to return. The hazelnut cake and zabaglione for dessert pleasantly surprised me; I found it delicious. Friendly staff, excellent parking.
Very nice place, with outside tables, leaning on the garden. Pleasant temperature and the right mix of shade and sunlight. Typical piemontese cuisine, all good and well presented. Excellent vitello tonnato and risotto con castelmagno e ortica, very good tagliolini con tartufo (although the truffles were of the black type). Less so the torta di nocciole. All in all, a good place and at a right price. It deserves a second take.
VERY NICE
In zona per lavoro ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante. Possibilità di usufruire di un menu fisso o alla carta; le proposte del fisso non ci soddisfacevano e abbiamo optato per la carta. Del rest…
Noisy. Downright noisy. Lots of local customers. The owner is welcoming, helpful, and smiling. The Cuvée Aurora sparkling wine is a pleasant, dry mineral wine. A good selection. The rest, well, so-so... The Vitelle Tonato is pretty ordinary, thickly sliced, and the tuna sauce has a lot of mayonnaise. Then the fillet... well, it's not veal fillet. Overall, it's petite cuisine and more than enough.
A decidedly decent restaurant with a pleasant location, a menu with ups and downs, and service that could definitely be improved. We went for Easter Sunday, with a menu that began with goat cheese mousse and went on to include three appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, a dessert, and a coffee. Starting from the first course, I can say, with a few exceptions, that the appetizers were good; I'd say the raw Fassone beef stood out above everything else. The quality began to decline with the rest of the courses: among the first courses, the tortello was a bit too al dente, the veal shoulder was just okay, and finally, a disappointing Easter cake that was completely frozen and in a very uncomfortable plastic container. The wines from the cellar were appreciated (Dolcetto and Arneis), balanced by the service and staff that, more than a restaurant, made it feel like a canteen. Perhaps "convivial atmosphere" is more accurate, but not a restaurant atmosphere. Concluding with a cost of €38 per person, decidedly high, from my experience I can't recommend the place highly enough, but I can't despise it either.
Simple but good food. We were served by a very friendly, all-purpose waiter, but he seemed a bit improvised. The place definitely needs a makeover and a fresh coat of paint to clean up a bit. PS: The breadstick holders were made of unwashed fabric and had crumbs on them that were almost unhygienic. Would I return? No Would I recommend them? Yes, after a good cleaning. (Saturday evening at 9:00 PM: ten diners, it's pretty clear why) It's a shame because the food is good.
This location was chosen for a business holiday luncheon. Though we had no wait for our table there was one for placing our order despite there being only a few other single tables. We ordered before other tables but were served last, those who ordered an appetizer had it arrive at the same time as the main entree of those who didn't and then we're served their enter as everyone else sat and waited. Very disorganized kitchen with no flavor. Their food was once much better.
se potessi metterei 0 stelle , cibo scadente era meglio il cibo della caritas ambiente rimasto agli anni 80 ristorante da 2 spiccioli . panna cotta che sembra toma di piode
Capodanno 2025 disastroso!!! 75 euro buttati.Locale fermo agli anni 80,con arredamento infissi e quant'altro dire decadenti è poco.Cenone con portate misere, dolce immangiabile, una bottiglia di spuma…
We spent the night of December 31, 2025, at the Due Lanterne. It was freezing both inside and out, but especially inside, as there was nothing on to warm the place up. There were so many reservations that people sometimes had to get up from their seats to let us pass to use the bathroom. They tried to imitate typical Albanian dishes, but with terrible results. We ate really badly, and we had a very unpleasant experience. I must say that the waiters were very helpful and good.
