Beautiful! We paid the entrance fee, just go to the town website; it's a negligible price. Along the approximately 4-kilometer trail, you'll find a rest stop with a chalet and a farmhouse. Lots of waterfalls, very clean and very cold water, but remember, we're in the mountains.

It's worth the visit. It's €2.50 for the ticket. About 1 hour and the half hike. It was very easy. Even for me as I'm not a hiker.

Val Vertova è ideale x una passeggiata super easy e relax. È un sentiero senza ostacoli, bello largo e con poco dislivello. Le cascate sono belle. D’estate il comune chiude la stradina e si può parcheggiare solo nel paese e poi si prende un pulmino. Non ci sono tanti bar, sul sentiero c’è ne uno solo con le birre e panini. I tavoli spesso sono tutti occupati e la gente si mette sul prato.

Per gli amanti delle camminate lunghe direi che è il posto perfetto...è molto bello il paesaggio e tutto quanto ,però dovrebbero migliorare un pò di cose viste che paghi un biglietto per entrarci. Ma cmq tutto sommato è bello visitarlo nel week end!

Si parcheggia giù nel paesino e dopo un po' di strada si inizia a costeggiare il fiume le sue varie cascate (piccole). Il sentiero é una mulattiera, facile e senza alcuna difficoltà se non quella di guadare il fiume attraverso dei cubi di cemento. L'acqua é davvero pulita e ha un colore meraviglioso. Ottima passeggiata anche per le famiglie con figli piccoli. C'è anche un baretto dove fare una sosta all'inizio della mulattiera.

Non do 5 stelle solo perché la giunta imponendo la tassa estiva aveva promesso manutenzione e pulizia che ovviamente non ci sono. Incassare è facile, mantenere le promesse no...

A charming place, with a stream forming waterfalls and natural pools. The road from the parking lot to the valley entrance is longer than the entire valley itinerary, but it's definitely worth it. The Roset restaurant where we stopped for lunch is expensive, with poor service and mediocre food. The casoncelli cost €13 (they were five for each dish), and the polenta with stew was a small plate. €15, and let's forget about the drinks. Without a set table, they serve everything without a placemat, and nothing else. However, the prices are those of a good-quality restaurant, which they don't. Total disappointment, I'm giving them two stars. The girls are kind but too informal. Everything needs to be reviewed.

Cozy place where you can enjoy cocktails and dinner immerse in the beautiful nature of the Val Vertova valley. In my opinion, portions vs price are not making it cheap and, unfortunately, too much worth it. I'd be happy to pay that price for bigger portions or less money for the same quantities.

A beautiful walk accessible to everyone, it runs alongside a wonderful stream with beautiful, fresh water alternating with waterfalls, water passages, and stunning scenery. Recommended for spending a few hours in the cool air not far from Bergamo (about 20 km). One caveat: to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility, it's best to visit it out of season or in the early hours of the morning. Remember that the road is closed, so I recommend parking either in town or a little further up and using your legs. There are also refreshment stops, one in particular at the beginning, which allowed for a lunch and snack with products from the farm itself and local producers, such as cheese, salami, farm-to-table ice cream, craft beer, etc., including a spritz. In short, you won't starve or thirst, given the presence of several fountains supplying you with fresh water along the way. The hike takes about 2 hours, depending on your pace....Byeeeee

A charming place. The trail starts right here and takes about 55 minutes there and a little less there. Once we got back, we had lunch here: polenta and stew, casoncelli alla bergamasca, and polenta with mushrooms. I have to say, nothing to complain about: good food and friendly staff.

Si arriva a Vertova, si parcheggia ( giù in paese su non si può) e si fa il biglietto 3,5€. Si cammina per 2,5 km per strada prima di arrivare all’ingresso sterrato con asfalto caldo e sotto il sole. Dopo altri 2 ,5km per arrivare alle cascate inesistenti. Lungo il tragitto ci si può fermare per mangiare lungo il fiume che presenta anche angoli molto belli. Non capisco far pagare un biglietto al mattino dove ti controllano ed il pomeriggio anche se non lo fai, vai via tranquillo tanto non c’è più nessuno che te lo vista. Non capisco poi , su nonostante ci siano i parcheggi, io devo parcheggiare sotto in paese, dove i parcheggi sono pochi e a pagamento. Non consiglio a chi si deve fare km per andare in valvertova, ci sono altri posti molto più belli, tipo val di mello.

Siamo arrivati nel posto alle 11 circa e abbiamo prenotato per il pranzo alle 14:30(su loro indicazione). Ne abbiamo approfittato per fare una passeggiata e siamo tornati alle 14:15 circa. Dopo averci detto di essere in ritardo con i turni precedenti, facendoci aspettare 40 minuti, ci hanno consigliato di “non aspettare” oltre perché non potevano far alzare le persone dei turni precedenti. Location & passeggiata bellissima tra passerella e cascatelle! Ma, una stella al Roset...inizio con: altro che 100 auto in parcheggio...la metà è forse troppa!!! Eh, soprattutto...cm da precedenti recensioni casoncelli crudi&duri, annegati in burro-bruciacchiato...la salvia era nera! Eh, il tutto al freddo in tavoli esterni... digeriti solo ora: 2.30 del mattino...dopo oltre 12 ore!

I love the people from this area, but these people have no similarity to their fellow valley folk. This area is full of honest men and women ...This place however seems to have decided to take advantage of being the only place along the resort and the tourism charging extortionate prices with terrible service. I am very disappointed with this new management.
