Very Ligurian home cooking, in the kitchen the good Mrs. Marina, very clean and competent. A great help from her husband at the tables and in the kitchen, he does the trick. Very fair price.

A charming, simple, no-frills country trattoria. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. The food was decent, but nothing special. Perhaps influenced by the area's many highly regarded trattorias in the Genoese hinterland, I was hoping for something more. The portions seemed a bit small, and the price was a bit high. Overall, though, I had a good experience; if I ever make it to Bavari again, I'd happily return.

A traditional trattoria in Bavari, simple but offering good traditional Genoese dishes. Excellent first courses, with a wide variety of fresh pasta paired with a variety of sauces. A variety of main courses and desserts are also available. Friendly service. A lovely outdoor seating area. I went here for lunch on a Saturday and had a great time. My only complaint was that I wasn't given a menu with prices, but the final price was still fair.

The 10-20 price is wrong!!! Healthy, authentic food, well-cooked. Overall, an average place: The pick-me-up with savory Genoese focaccia stands out; I didn't like it, but it's worth trying. A complete meal for 45 euros (for a trattoria) is perhaps a bit excessive...

A typical Ligurian trattoria. Home-style cooking, a casual atmosphere, and friendly staff. The first courses are definitely the highlights, but the rest doesn't disappoint. In the current restaurant scene, where everyone seems to be trying to imitate the great restaurants of the Upper East Side (only managing to do so in the bill), places like this are definitely worth a look.

Genoese trattoria in Bavari. Simple and relaxed atmosphere, fast and friendly service, excellent dishes, and truly reasonable prices. They make you want to go out for Sunday lunch with the family again, without getting ripped off. Recommended

Trattoria Crista is located on Via Livello 21 in the Bavari area, on the hills above Genoa. The dining room is spacious, as is the large, shaded terrace. The menu offers a wide selection, and the Genoese cuisine is truly excellent, with generous portions. The staff is attentive and fast, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

A simple, rustic, and authentic trattoria, with a special mention for the first courses! They were plentiful and truly delicious. There were a few small things that could be improved, like the French fries, which tasted like they've been frozen in a bag, but overall, it was an excellent lunch!

Devo dire che il personale gentile e disponibile, il cibo di ottima qualità ma le porzioni veramente piccole ridotte, soprattutto considerando che dovrebbe essere una trattoria. Il prezzo un pochino caro considerando quello che abbiamo mangiato. Però ribadisco la qualità ottima !!diciamo che se vi basate sulle foto che vedete sul sito rimarrete un po' delusi.

We had lunch as a couple. The food was decent, but not exceptional. Very friendly and fast. The atmosphere was basic, but clean and tidy.

We had lunch today with a family of eight adults. The theme was mushrooms for the appetizer, first course, and second course. The waitress told us they were offering Bavarian mushrooms. The average price listed online, ranging from €10 to €20, is completely false. We ordered four appetizers: meat and mushroom carpaccio (but no mushrooms), three fiammanghille (a type of pasta) with a trio of pasta dishes, including mandilli with pesto that tasted like basil, ravioli with mushroom sauce (but no mushrooms), Ligurian-style rabbit (without olives or pine nuts), mushrooms and baked potatoes (except the mushrooms were nonexistent, just lots and lots of potatoes), and the Italian-style fritto misto was paltry and tasteless. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but a little goes a long way. The negative review is due to the extremely small quantity and the exorbitant price. The service was average.
