Location molto curata nei minimi dettagli , ambiante ospitale tra eleganza e semplicità … la vista a dir poco spettacolare con la terrazza affacciata sul mare , dove puoi pranzare o cenare in tranquillità .. la qualità dei piatti è molto attenta da meritare 5 stelle , abbiamo preso la pasta con l’astice che la qualità del piatto era sublime … i prezzi sono coerenti con la qualità ! Quindi chiunque si trova a passare per Bordighera consigliamo di fare tappa in questo ristorante .
Fatto aperitivo con calice di Rossese e rinforzato da un' ottima frittura. Con il mare un po' agitato e la chiesa di Sant'Ampelio a pochi passi è stato molto piacevole e particolare in quel momento

Partendo dal cibo: tutto veramente ottimo, giudicate voi stessi da come sono impiattati, inoltre portano subito un antipasto offerto non appena ci si siede, ottimo per spezzare la fame. Anche il servizio è impeccabile, finiti i secondi avevamo caldo e abbiamo chiesto di poter essere spostati vicino alla finestra per il dolce e ci hanno accontentato. Personale davvero gentile e servizio veloce, ci hanno riportato il cestino del pane non appena finito. Bagni attrezzati per disabili e puliti
Siamo stati per colazione e merenda: vista spettacolare a picco sul mare vicino alla chiesetta di S. Ampelio. Brioches molto generose di ripieno alla nutella e marmellata, servizio cortese e attento con bicchierini d’acqua in accompagnamento ai cappuccini e biscottini, pulizia dei bagni: niente di meglio per iniziare una bella giornata a Bordighera. Originale il gelato alla violetta.
Che dire…sembra di fare un viaggio in Italia…ma l’Italia vera e di qualità! Menù a dir poco da favola…tutto quello che abbiamo provato gustoso e ben presentato…in aggiunta personale ed un titolare super cordiale, fanno di questo posto una tappa obbligatoria!
Per un pranzo vista mare ma dal gusto ricercato e semplice . Ottimo pesce pescato locale e verdure di stagione. Ottima carta dei vini.suggestivo anche la sera . Colazioni e aperitivi non banali. Un grande piacere quando tutto è assolutamente perfetto! Una piacevole sorpresa essere accolti da Pasquale e da Valentina che ci hanno poi accompagnati amabilmente lungo un delizioso percorso gastronomico. La Reserve si conferma un ristorante d’eccellenza. Abbiamo ordinato un’ottima ceviche di gamberi rosa e un fritto di paranza freschissimo. Per concludere, abbiamo scelto la pavlova con meringa e gelato alla violetta. Personale professionale e gentile. Consigliato!

The eggplant ravioli and Pinot Grigio was perfect! Beautiful view of the water and rock formations. It was a nice walking stop on the way back to our accommodations in Bordighera from visiting the botanical gardens, Giardino Esotico Pallanca.

Wonderful adresse. Isolated on the rocks with a stunning sea view and a panorama including the small church on the seaside. The cuisine is done with taste using ancient wheat pasta and in the Italian al dente way. The service makes you feel welcome. Recommended.
Experience beyond expectations. I travel a lot for work and have been with my elderly parents many times at Bordighera, but today December lunch here has been by far one of our best memories as a family. Believe the 4 stars only might be biased by the price point a bit beyond average, but the combination of the unique location, great food and service deserve sure more. What I like is the quality, variety, stick to tradition (acciughe abbottonate incredibly tasty and balanced and "must try" the use of artichoke and the mixed Cousine between sea and the Ligurian inland traditions). Also a satisfactory and hearty quantity for every appetite (my parents felt at home, even coming from the 40ies generation). Great service, attentive (also to celiac customers) and always with a smile. Location finally is absolutely unique..broad sea terrace spacing 180 degrees from Ospedaletti gulf to the beautiful Church of Sant' Ampelio, sourthermost diamond of Liguria Ponente. Thanks..will come back again..

A very pleasant place to stay the day. Welcoming and friendly staff, good food and drinks. Perfect place to swim, snorkel and free dive. Sun bed area feels very safe and private. Just be aware the sun will set a little bit earlier than the surrounding beaches due to cliffs. Will be back tho!

Questo ristorante è sulla via Aurelia davanti al mare e alla chiesa di Santo Ampelio a Bordighera. Un posto ideale dove rilassarsi con un aperitivo dopo la spiaggia oppure a cena. Molto vicino anche al porto della città e davanti alla statua di Margherita di Savoia. Consigliato!

Tra i più bei posti di Bordighera dove fare un aperitivo al tramonto. Servizio un po’ lento e distratto ma tutto sommato passa in secondo piano rispetto alla vista panoramica. Ristorante elegante ben curato personale gentile proprio sul mare siamo stati con amici che già conoscevano il posto. Pure l'amuse bouche e il pane di differenti qualità con pure dei tranci di pizza già bello solo a vedere. Cena ottima a base di pasta all'astice. Dessert diverse proposte e da ultimo biscottini. Lovely little restaurant along the seafront. We just had drinks - the rose was lovely, as was the prosecco. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was in between lunch & dinner when I think they would normally be closed, but they let us shelter from the rain with some drinks for a while.

12/08/2024 - Ore 13:00 - Pranzo - La location di La Reserve a Bordighera è davvero bellissima, con una vista mozzafiato sul mare che rende l'atmosfera molto suggestiva. Tuttavia, ci sono alcuni "ma" da considerare. Il cibo è buono, ma mi aspettavo qualcosa di più dai fusilli con i calamari: il sugo non era abbastanza legato alla pasta, lasciando il piatto un po' deludente. Le acciughe imbottite erano gustose, ma un altro piccolo problema è emerso quando abbiamo voluto abbinarle a un contorno. Non ci sono contorni nel menù, e per ottenere un fuori menù ci hanno addebitato un costo piuttosto elevato. In generale, i prezzi sono alti, ma vista la location, è quasi comprensibile. Un'altra nota non troppo positiva riguarda la giovane cameriera che ci ha servito. Era seria (fin troppo…) e abbastanza professionale, ma purtroppo non molto gentile, il che ha un po' smorzato l’esperienza. In sintesi, La Reserve è consigliato per la vista, con cibo buono e un servizio accettabile, ma ci sono margini di miglioramento, soprattutto in termini di rapporto qualità-prezzo e cortesia del personale.
Everything brilliant, except one waitress the young black hair girl. Very rude and typical from here. It used to be all bad service then now it’s better. The service people aren’t rude like they used to be, except this one girl. She has to be sacked she just isn’t suited for customer service where you HAVE to be friendly!!
Malcolm is a fantastic human. He saved the place. The food was ok, but I would not eat there again. Sorry, there are simply many better options in this area. Most of the food staff were good, but down at the beach beds, one of the guys was genuinely quite rude and this place was saved by Malcolm - legend! Malcolm speaks 6 languages, but more importantly is just kind, friendly and helpful. We would go back for beach beds and Malcolm, but that’s about all. No Malcolm, not going.
A tough one. The views of the Terasse are great. Terasse is really nice and during the day it has nice swimming between the rocks. Small wine list but nothing crazy. Service was a little rough at the beginning got better throughout the evening. Lacks a little passion. The food lacks passion as well. Tomato 🍅 foccatia was exceptional. Little amuse bouche was nice. Ansjofish toast was ok. Just a lot butter.... Shrimp ceviche was nice. Just lacked love. Fitura di pesce was slightly overcooked and the fish were too big and not fileted. Abbiamo cenato in una sera molto ventosa ma ci hanno messi comunque in un tavolino in punta alla scogliera. Il posto è bellissimo, ma il resto lascia proprio a desiderare. Un menù molto ristretto e scarso. Abbiamo preso un crudo si gamberi rosa e una tartare come antipasti, la tartare era una poltiglia. Nel crudo c'era del mais croccante di quelli dell'aperitivo che pr poco non mi rompevo un molare.... I primi, un fusillo slegato dal suo condimento e una calamarata con del baccalà che non sembrava proprio baccalà.... Non abbiamo preso vino perché mio marito doveva guidare. Una serata da dimenticare, non lo consigliamo proprio!

Ho un bel ricordo di questo ristorante di quando c ero stato 3 anni fa. Decido allora di tornarci portando un amico. Purtroppo il ristorante non è più quello di una volta. Abbiamo preso due antipasti a base di pesce crudo e due primi. Uno dei due primi (pasta fatta in casa con burro lime e Alici del mar cantabrico) era a dir poco vergognoso: 14 euro per mangiare una pasta in bianco con del burro con una sola Alice in tutto il piatto. Il conto parecchio salato. Speravo il proprietario alla cassa ci chiedesse se era andato tutto bene come aveva fatto con la persona prima di noi e ci offrisse come a lui un amaro offerto dalla casa invece nulla e stato zitto e ci ha semplicemente fatto pagare. Direi un trattamento vergognoso. Il cameriere che ci ha servito inoltre non era italiano (e fin qui non ho nulla da dire ci mancherebbe) ma non parlava bene la ns lingua e più di una volta non capivamo cosa dicesse e nulla è servito richiedere oltre ad essere veramente scortese e maleduto. Il giorno successivo entrambi abbiamo avuto mal di pancia cosa che ci ha fatto pensare che il pesce crudo non fosse stato trattato accuratamente. Mi dispiace avevo un ottimo ricordo di questo ristorante ma non ci tornerò mai più.
Per evitare che le linguine alle vongole (24€ 01/2026) siano davvero troppo salate, questo potrebbe essere dovuto alla ricotta aggiunta in eccesso alla pasta. lo chef dovrebbe assaggiare i piatti che cucina. Bel locale rinomato e con ottima vista ma, per la nostra esperienza, con attitudine a fregare il turista. Ecco la foto della lavagna da cui è stato omesso, per economie di gesso a non voler pensare male, il prezzo delle ostriche. Quindi, 2 porzioni di ostriche e 2 bicchieri di Muscadet come da lavagna, conto: 60€. Non discuto il prezzo o la qualità (nella media ma molto fresche, con qualche scaglia di conchiglia d’apertura di troppo, e servite con pane croccante e burro non salato, aceto rosso e cipolla, e tabasco ma non pepe) Una stella per la scelta del gestore (o mi auguro per loro, qualcuno che ne facesse le veci in quel momento) di riferirmi spezzante che la colpa del frainteso era solo mia perché non ho chiesto il prezzo. Poco male, Bordighera è fortunatamente piena di ristoranti per tutti i gusti, forse con meno vista, ma gestiti da personale splendido che tiene a quel che fa e a chi lo frequenta. Un aperitivo o una cenetta alla reserve era un appuntamento fisso che sicuramente non ripeteremo più

Not customer oriented. My friends and I ordered the same dish (calamari) and we were not able to eat it because it tasted really really bad. We had one bite and realised we can’t eat it. The taste of the calamari resembled frozen but we were made sure it’s fresh. However no attempt to understand what’s wrong with the dish was made by the restaurant. The restaurant didn’t even offer us another dish free of charge - they told us you can have something else but you need to pay for it. Or at least offer a desert. They didn’t care that we didn’t basically touch our dish. The waiter was friendly and nice and tried to somehow placate us. We realised it’s actually the management of the restaurant that has such non customer-oriented rules.
