Le Anfore Via Bernardo Ricci Reviews
The food is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. We have come here several times to enjoy the authentic Italian cuisine served by this family-run business. The frittura mista and the pizzas are absolutely divine. While the service can be a bit rough at times due to the place being packed, it only adds to the charm and authentic Italian dining experience. If you're looking for a taste of Italy, this is the place to go.
We had a pizzas. Two different. The dough is not the one of the exception, but it's ok. Tomato sauge is very good and generous with cheese. Is it the best pizza that I've had? No. Would I come back for the pizza here? No. Pizzaïolo should put at least some love into the dow and attention. Maturation of the dough and swaping for better flour would help a lot. It's dry and chrisp now. But as I said there's nothing wrong with this place just nothing special. The staff is finest. The atmosphere is natural in a good way.
Super good pizza, served in an alley (we ate outside) in the old city centre of Albenga. Highly recommended
Best Pizza ever! 👏🏼 Well done to Alfonso. He is a fine chap, always there to help you. He will be there on your way out the pizzeria waiving to you like an old Italian grandma. You don’t just eat pizza in that place you feel loved 🥰💚🤍❤️
Been there eight years ago. Today visited again. Still great food and honest service. Respect!
Very pleasant restaurant. Absolutely top Pizzas and other meals. Very friendly team and owners, even in a hectic saturday evening. Absolute recommondable is also the Tiramisu.
Really tasty food, lots of local customers which is always a good sign.
Great food and warm atmosphere. It's always a pleasure spending an evening at Le Anfore.
Excelente place..food ..surounding... atmosphere... very good prices and attention
Very nice and friendly restaurant. When we were here 15 years ago, the owner showed our sons how delicious basil is and how it smells. Nice to be back.
Great antipasti, mediocre pasta (the fruti di mare was clearly from the freezer), but saved by fantastic desserts. Staff is a bit inattentive but prices are good and in a decent atmosphere. Recommended.
Very nice and cosy place to eat. Especially when you get a seat in the alley next to the tower in the well preserved Roman town of Albenga. The seafood dishes (spaghetti al vongole, pesce spada alla livornese and a grigliata mista) were copious and very, very tasty. A local Vermentina goes perfect with these dishes. Owner and staff are cool and friendly. Definitely a place to return to.
Lasagna was served cold and then warmed in microwave and served back to us after complaining. Pizza took 50mins to arrive. However, seafood spaghetti and the tiramisu were very good
Gosh it is BRIGHT in there!!! They sure don’t believe in dimmed lights! On top of that it is BRIGHT yellow on the walls. Too bad they can’t make it more intimate... The wait staff is very friendly though. We all ordered a pizza and the restaurant was more than half empty. I know it’s not McDonald’s and I shouldn’t expect my pizza to be ready in 5 minutes, but 45 minutes... Come on!!! The pizza is good...good, but not great. I had way better and I had worse, let’s put it that way. Prices are good for what it is. I wouldn’t go again...
I would like to give an opinion on the food. Unfortunately after waiting 30 minutes for the waitress who avoided us, we left.
Poor quality experience both with food and service. Tables were left messy, they “lost”‘our order due to “wifi problems” when the food arrived after a long wait - poor quality and not good value. Disappointing.
Pro: open on the January,1 Con: open on the January,1 The place is cute but the pizza is not.
