Le Volte Via Camillo Tonazzi Reviews
The food is absolutely outstanding. Authentic Italian food at it's best. I'm a chef myself and I am picky when it comes to authentic cuisine and portion size/quality ratio. I know how touristic traps work.. this place is none of those. I fully recommend this restaurant as a destination for a quality night out for a reasonable price. Unless you're looking for a cheap pizza to fill your guts up, then look elsewhere.
We visited this lovely restaurant as a group of 7, from the UK in June 2025 and The garden setting with the vine covered pergola was really well crafted. Everyone from our group thoroughly enjoyed their main courses and deserts. The lovely attentive lady at the front of house was faultless , no request was ever a problem. I don’t write many reviews but after the quality of the food, compliments to the kitchen staff and of the service we received I felt this independent restaurant truly deserved my time and my review. You will not be disappointed.
Very and delicious restaurant. I recommend the amatriciana spaghetti and panacotta
Amazing food. Very good and exceptionally friendly service. Authentic place.
Nice outside lunch in the inner courtyard, great food and very friendly staff.
A nice traditional restaurant. Very good food, large portions, reasonable prices.
We loved the atmosphere, the unique and tasty food and the very nice server - her happiness really transfered to us and made it a delight. You have to call in advance for the Paella, and we did Not but loved the rest of the menu and what we had nonetheless. A bit more on the pricy side but worth it!
Very good food, super friendly and professional service and a very cozy location. We will definitely visit you again!
Probably the best restaurant I have tried in Italy! It was so good that we went back two days later. Very complete menu, and all tastes delicious. Top parmigiana and cheesecake! Tatiana and Patricia super friendly.
5 starts are not enough to rate this amazing place... food is truly delicious.. there is much more then the main stream food.. you get authentic Italian dishes with meat fish and many more options.. menu has such a great variety that is hard to choose what to eat..on the wine selection there is a broad range of white and red wines to match to your meal. The restaurant inside is also fantastic...nice clean and cosy environment.. service is outstanding.. staff us truly friendly and responsive.. last but not least for all non Italian speakers, menu is in English and staff is speaking English and German !!
The food was so incredible we forgot to drink our wine (which was also amazing)
We visited on a Sarurday evening, the place was pretty full. For this reason the service, even though it was very nice and friendly, was a bit slow. We had to wait quite some time for them to take our order and bring the drinks. Other than that a good experience, food was delicious! Must try the risotto! Great house wine! They also serve paella and fish soup for minimum 2 persons but you have to book in advance.
Really good food but expensive. For lunch it's more affordable but the place is a bit dark. Very appropriate for dinner, but more expensive. It worth a try if you are around.
Nice restaurant. Good food. Would have been better if the owner/chef hadn't talked non stop to the next table!
Not sure why this is rated so high. There was one staff member serving food and making drinks for the entire restaurant on a Saturday. The result was poor service. The food was pretty good but we minimised our order because we saw it was not going well.
