Rustic trattoria – authentic & lovingly run A real insider tip in a picturesque borgo atmosphere: The pasta – homemade by Grandma – is simply sensational: Bigoli con Sarde (thick spaghetti with anchovies and capers) or gnocchi with burrata are a real delight. The meat (especially the rabbit!) and seafood from the open grill are equally impressive. The ambiance is authentic with an atmospheric wisteria terrace, while the interior exudes a rustic, family-friendly Italian flair. The service is warm, and the prices are extremely fair. A pure feel-good experience. Be sure to make a reservation, especially in summer! A warning, though: If you're looking for sophisticated gourmet fare or are picky about your bread, this is the wrong place – but you'll find soul on the plate and a genuine smile to go with it.

Amazing!
Great Food, great service, nice people
One of the best rustic meals we had in Italy where every dish stood out. Most memorable was the lake fish pasta, the pasta was rich with eggs and texturally amazing. The fish imparts a moreishness to the dish. Equally tasty was the rabbit, the meat was succulent with notes of rosemary and generouslly adorned with grilled polenta, zuchinni, peppers and arugula. The goat was a strong dish, this goat probably scaled mount Baldo multiple times. Dave and his staff were very kind to us, sitting us under the beautiful wisteria, thanking us for our patronage, treating us warmer than the Italian summer. Definitely recommend and hope to be back!
Beautiful setting under the wisteria. Food was homemade and exceptional. Ate as a family of six. Highly recommend for an authentic Italian meal in a picturesque location.
Perfect Aperol Spritz and glass of wine, both cheap and in generous quantity. Some peanuts and crisps came with it, also in good quantity
Great authtic food, very nice stuff.
Always a lovely family atmosphere and the food is great ! Highly recommended
Wonderful food, great service
A timeless trattoria serving local dishes, no frills, but the elegant welcome entrée is noteworthy. The fried perch is delicious, and the grilled whitefish is tasty. The service is inconsistent, depending on the staff taking orders and delivering the dishes: from smiling and friendly waitresses to young, funereal, terse, and somewhat distracted waiters (there was no way I got grilled vegetables, even though I repeated the order a second time). For a simple lunch, it's fine.
