La Piada Via Crispi Reviews
Ok
Nice place, very efficient guys, excellent food quality
Very good piadinas, quick service
It's definitely a great alternative to McDonald's. They offer a varied selection of piadinas, easy to order, and very good products. Having lived between Rimini and Cesenatico for over 10 years, I've eaten a lot of piadinas, and I have to say that theirs are just as good as those from Romagna... quite the opposite...
Easy to find, we're in a corner of a lovely little square outside the restricted traffic zone. Parking isn't difficult. ATM and takeout are fine. A loyalty card is available for collecting points and discounts. Friendly staff and cleanliness everywhere. Simple menu, various piadina doughs. Two options: classic or roll. You can, however, fill it with whatever you like. Organic drinks and craft beers are available. I'll gladly return.
The piadinas and rolls are made with quality ingredients and the fillings are generous. Furthermore, the place is quite spacious and easy to find a table. Following an incident with an order, the owner took immediate action to resolve the issue in a very professional manner. Well done!
The piadinas are excellent, but the ordering app is truly terrible... after almost half an hour, I managed to place my order, but the app kept crashing every time I added something, and the credit disappeared after I retrieved my cart. It definitely needs improvement... it just doesn't work.
There are many varieties of piadinas to suit all tastes, and you can even fill your own with your favorite ingredients. Perfect for a quick lunch!
Decent piadina, but the dough is a bit lumpy. Good service, limited space. Prices are always too high for a piadina, and often the filling isn't adequate.
Friendly staff, overall good piadina, but a bit stingy with ingredients. The place is clean and tidy, perhaps a little too warm. Let's just say a little more generosity wouldn't hurt, though overall I'd recommend their rivals a few meters away.
I ordered a piada just half an hour ago, along with a sweet baby piada. The piada was good and well-filled, but the sweet one was shameful to say the least. When you realize something didn't turn out as expected, you have to remake it. The sweet piada was inedible. To say it was dry is an understatement; in fact, we threw it away. If I wanted a large toast (because that's the consistency) with galak cream, I wouldn't have ordered a toast!
The service and atmosphere are typical of the chain. The piadinas, however, are rather empty, at least compared to the outlets in the Brescia area. They don't accept membership cards. Seating is limited. Often closed.
In a hurry, we opted for a piadina. Rush hour at 8:00 PM, perhaps an extra person would be needed. Unfortunately, in the chaos, the order was lost, with everyone eating except us. After pointing this out, another 5 minutes of waiting and the piadinas arrived. 42 minutes of waiting for a piadina, which was also very good, is too long for someone in a hurry.
I placed an order through Deliveroo and was really disappointed. Starting with the fact that an hour's wait seems a bit excessive, I don't know who made these piadinas, if I can call them that, this evening. They were supposed to be two rolls, but they turned out to be two flattened piadinas, not rolled ones... all very hard and dry, inedible... If I were them, I would have remade them before sending them out like that. (I'm also attaching a photo so you can see the difference between a roll as it should be and the one that arrived at my house, and how dry it is.) Furthermore, the order was supposed to include a sweet piadina with Galak cream, but it never arrived! The service and food were truly disappointing.
I placed an order with Glovo for a piadina. It wasn't the first time, but this time I was extremely disappointed. The delivery time for the order was from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and at 8:20 PM, they canceled my order without any explanation or response.
So, let's start by saying that I always get piadina at this restaurant chain. Unfortunately, I have to give a negative review to the Via Crispi location. The last two times I went, the piadina (roll) was too dry and therefore quite hard, like eating crackers. For me, piadina should be soft. At other locations, it was always perfect. In the end, I won't go to this location again.
Piadineria is an excellent chain, which I highly recommend. It works well, everything is always clean, and the standard is high in all the piadinerias I've been to, of which there must be 200. This store is an exception. There was a half-hour wait, and there were 10 people there, half of whom had already been served. The piadina was half-burnt and half-empty, and it felt like you were eating a piadina with a slice of piadina inside. During the half-hour, 5 people called to apologize for the fact that some ingredients were missing. Maybe check first to see if they're missing. Let's talk about the welcome, but I'll stop here as I don't want to waste any more time.
