A Modo Mio Via Curiel Reviews
I think the best restaurant with greek food in Milan! food 10/10 , service 10/10 and all people working there so kind and sweet!!! 1000% recommented
Lively restaurant (it was a little loud because it was very well visited). The food is exceptional at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff too.
I and my wife were very lucky that we could try this restaurant. Because we didnt make reservation,, and it was lunch time,, restaurant was fully packed It was our first time to taste Greek cuisine though they only gave us 45 minutes. Incredible and fantastic food and service Not to mention,, servers were also helpful and excellent..
It’s funny that the best food we’ve had in all of Milan and northern Italy, is actually Greek food. Vero Sapore Greco (Duomo Milano) serves excellent food! There we loved their lamb/sheep skewers, their green salads, their eggplant dish, and their Greek-seasoned fries were all amazing! Highly recommend!
Excellent Greek cuisine in the heart of Milan We tried this delicious Greek restaurant just a few steps from the Duomo. The restaurant is spacious and on two floors. The mise en place is very simple, the service is very courteous and attentive and recommended us the best, even if we waited half an hour, but it was worth it! The dishes we have chosen are tasty and the raw materials are of a good quality. We drank Greek mineral water and Retzina Papagiannakos white wine ... fantastic! As an appetizer we chose Saganaki cheese and we could not resist the Haloumi cheese of Cyprus ... to continue with chicken and pork Suvlaki. Finally we allowed ourselves chickpea balls. Then coffee and of course Ouzo, the aniseed liqueur. Reasonable expenditure: € 83 uro. If you want to immerse yourself in an elegant yet informal and decidedly tasty Greek atmosphere you must try it!
Really speedy service and tasty Greek options with quality ingredients. We thought that a bit more thought could have gone behind the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place, it could be homier and cosier. !! The pita bread, considering it’s a Greek place, should be higher quality and fresher.
Hidden away from the duomo, this is a great place to stop for lunch if you are close by. Food is fresh and plenty full in portion. Priced considerably well for the location. Good vegetarian choices, sharing plates is best. They managed to squeeze us in once they saw a regular face, advanced booking recommended. Prosecco was average, so I wouldn't order a bottle again, we also had to top ourselves up after the first pour, even though the waiters were walking past noticing. The bathroom lacked paper towels and smelt awful in the cubical. The paying area constantly has a que, so leave time for this if you have to be elsewhere.
The food was decent but nothing exceptional—some dishes were flavorful, others rather underwhelming. For the price (€40–50 per person), I expected more consistency and attention to detail. The service fell short of expectations: it was inattentive and not particularly friendly. Atmosphere-wise, the place felt a bit lacking—noisy and cramped, with little character or warmth. Overall, it was an average experience and not one I’d be quick to repeat unless improvements are made.
One and half year ago this place was great but now not so good anymore. They changed a lot… if you go there you not going to find many of the traditional dishes. The “Vero Sapore Greco” are selling pork, red meat, chicken, and fried food mainly. 😞 What I eat was one of the few good things that remained on the actual menu.
