L‘hostoria Via Delle Stazioni Reviews
While waiting to catch my train ride back to Como via Milano decided to have lunch and this place was fabulous. Had the Bacala with yellow tomato purée and a local vegetable cicoria saltato sul olio e peperoncino served with fresh bread. Simple but tasty and it was delicious. The young waiter was very polite and friendly and I had left my good complimenti to the Chef. Grazie ancora e buon tutto 🙏🏼
My last night in Italy and my best meal! The service from Francesco was impeccable. He suggested the eggplant appetizer, and while I (raised at the knee of my Italian grandmother) have often made eggplant Parmesan, this was outer worldly) My next course was cacio e pepe and the sauce was light and balanced. When it arrived, I regretted it, thinking that the portion was too big and I ordered a secondo The final course was steak. A bit tough, but so flavorful, the chewing was a gift.
We discovered this beautiful restaurant by accident and were positively surprised by the exzellent quality of the Service, Wine and Food. We went there a few times during our stay and always were warmly welcomed. No matter what Food we tried, it was always freshly prepared and tasted amazing.
Simply put, don’t miss Hosteria La Stazione when you are in Rome. The food, atmosphere and quality of service is outstanding. It is near the main train station and is easily accessed no matter how you get around the city. Francesco clearly puts his heart into making customers feel welcome. Can’t say enough about my visit. Looking forward to the next time!
Fantastic place, the food was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! If you go there - don't forget to try the lasagna!!! beautiful design of the restaurant. The chief waiter - Signore Francesco was especially professional and kind. Fantastic place, was over the moon!
We were staying at the Alpi Hotel for B&B so we could sample some Italian restaurants in the evening. We spent our last 2 nights at this restaurant/bar as the food was excellent and was also at a reasonable cost, we had a main course and desert with a bottle of Rose and a Bottle of water on both nights + a Greek Salad on the first night both nights were excellent value for money compared to previous places we had eaten at. I would also like to mention the service was very welcoming and forgiving with my poor Italian in particular Francesco who served us on our last night. Would recommend this as a place to eat if you visit Rome
We thru them a 'curve ball'. A late lunch or very early dinner (4 p.m.). Very good service with an excellent cheese board w/ miele & a pear & onion chutney & bread. An inexpensive bottle of very good prosecco was a perfect match. Main course was spaghetti in 3 different sauces (pepper cream, carbonara & red w/veggies). We both preferred them in that order. The lemon tart was a nice finish. Room was very pleasant & staff was very nice. Highly recommended.
The restaurant is very close to Termini station. The food is delicious. We shared the Carpaccio di Black Angus and that was easy to eat with some olive oil. Then we shared the beef fillet with potatoes which had a very tasty red wine reduction sauce. And the octopus salad which was absolutely fresh with avocado, tomato and rocket. Well worth it when you save via the Fork app. The waiter Zaneb (Zay) was very nice and shared her background with us. The Rose by the glass was lovely to drink. Thank you.
First night in Italy - eight of us! Exhausted from the long flight, our hotel recommended La Stazione, which was just a short walk away. We were welcomed with a beautiful smile from Lala and were seated right away. Lala and Elnara were so pleasant and helpful, as was Franceso - who explained the 3 classic Roman pastas - all so delicious! Just a great way to start off this trip, we enjoyed it so much - 10/10!
I was here for vacation and looking for a nice vibe and authentic Italian cuisine….and this place definitely fit the bill. It’s a must. I will definitely be going again! Update: went for a second dinner and it was just as good as the first. I’m thanks to our friends waitresses Zey and Francesca
Very nice place with good food and nice wine. We especially liked the octopus salad and the lasagna! Both were very tasty. The stracchetti di manzo was ok! The salad could have a nice dressing but ok. Their service was very friendly and the lady helped us to choose wine! Their tiramisu was full of flavour also.
Great ambience and music, attentive (but not super fast) waiters. Yummy bruschetta and pizza. Pizza was loaded with mozzarella - too much?! Cotoletta milanese (Vienna schnitzel) wasn’t great though - crunchy breading, thick not especially tasty veal and a bit too oily. Don’t travel for this restaurant but a safe bet if you’re nearby.
