Due Franciacorta, due primi, un secondo, due calici di vino rosso, un dolce per 130€. Dolce accompagnato da piccola pasticceria (sfiziosa e ricercata), anche questa offerta. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al ristorante I Cinque Sensi a Cuneo e voglio davvero ringraziare la gestione per la bellissima esperienza. Per me una bella esperienza significa trovarsi in un ambiente accogliente, con un servizio eccellente e un menù capace di deliziare le papille gustative. Qui ho trovato proprio tutto questo. Ogni dettaglio era curato, i piatti di qualità eccellente e tante piccole attenzioni hanno reso la serata speciale. Il servizio al tavolo è stato impeccabile: mai un bicchiere rimasto vuoto e le cameriere sempre attente, ma mai invadenti. Ho apprezzato la cucina a vista, discreta e non ostentata, e tutti quei piccoli gadget in bagno che rendono la permanenza ancora più piacevole. Infine, lo staff è simpatico e il locale elegante ma easy, dove ti senti davvero a tuo agio. E dulcis in fundo, il prezzo è stato una piacevole sorpresa: adeguato, forse perfino più basso di quanto mi aspettassi, considerando la qualità e tutte le attenzioni extra come l’antipasto di benvenuto, il sorbetto e il digestivo offerti. Una serata perfetta resa possibile da un posto che consiglio di cuore!

Originally from Piemonte but living in England, I was thrilled to discover how beautifully I 5 Sensi manages to blend traditional Piemontesi flavors with a modern elegance and sophistication—all without losing the authentic simplicity that makes these dishes special. I took my mother there for a surprise birthday lunch during the week, and although we hadn't planned anything special, the team managed to make us feel wonderfully pampered, exactly the way you'd hope from such a refined place. The young man in the dining room was exceptional—bright and genuinely kind, he made us feel right at home. And the chefs went above and beyond, surprising us with touches that weren't even part of our chosen tasting menu. What I appreciated most was their incredible attention to customer experience, even during a weekday lunch. The tasting menu itself was remarkable, and honestly, I can’t pick a favorite dish because each course was outstanding. However, the risotto with frog and marrow is something I still think about—it was a truly unforgettable dish. It's nice to find a restaurant that can balance tradition with modernity in such a seamless way, while also providing exceptional service. I 5 Sensi has done it perfectly. Simply superb local food and wine served and cooked by a passionate family team!! If you're in the neighborhood of Cuneo, Piedmont, appreciate excellence in food and value for money, you need to eat here! We tried the 66€ discovery 5-course menu, perfectly portioned, cooked, plated, and chosen by the kitchen, explained by the server, accompanied by a bottle of excellent light dry red wine from a small local vineyard (25€). We enjoyed three extra amuse bouche offerings, coffee, and a complementary extra sweet with the dessert course, plus complementary Amaretto and Grappa after we'd settled the bill. Fewer courses and less expensive options are available.

One of the best experiences I had in Cuneo, the restaurant is elegant, and easy to find in the city centre. You are immediately welcomed at the table by a glass of spumante and an appetizer offered by them. The menu offers a good amount of choices. I would, for sure, go back to try more!!! every dish is mind blowing! This time I tried an entree of Quaglia and a main dish with Tuna. Magic end with a mix of cheeses and a perfect coffee. (Covid19 situation: the tables are well separated and before walking to your table you can do fortably clean your hands with sanitizer places at the main door. Mask is compulsory at the entrance till sitted at your table. ) very well organised

The sommelier’s advice was extremely knowledgeable and last but not least; the food was absolutely outstanding and truly some of most tasteful of the Piedmont region. Beautifully arranged, the flavors played together as well as you’d wish they would. We are so glad we ate there! Overall amazing dining experience. The food and setting are both excellent ( without being overly formal) and the prices are very fair for the service provided ( around $30 for a 5 course menu, and you can spend even less by ordering single dishes). The ingredients are local and the dishes are inspired by local/traditional recipes, but they are presented with a unique interpretation from the chefs. The restaurant shows their level of care and attention to the customer by making everything in-house (they only buy the raw ingredients) and by also offering complementary drinks/snacks at the beginning and the end of the meal. The staff is also superb and extremely courteous. The waiters are always ready to help you choose some food adapt to your particular taste or pair any wine with it. Everytime I come to Cuneo, I 5 Sensi is always the place I make sure to go to and I cannot recommend it enough!

Locale molto bello,pulito ed intimo. Tavoli ben distanziati. I piatti che abbiamo mangiato erano davvero favolosi: creatività e tradizione mixati in modo perfetto. L’unica nota negativa è stata quella del freddo presente nel locale (il riscaldamento sembrava spento) e della cameriera che serviva vestita in tuta da ginnastica. Mentre molto professionale e vestito in modo impeccabile l’altro cameriere. Per il resto tutto impeccabile. Ci tornerei!

We walked in by chance on a Wednesday lunch. The dining room is simple and bright. The staff was very attentive and well prepared to offer a good service (including a welcome drink). The food is well prepared and well presented (we had the Parmigiana, the raw veal and two types of pasta): very good. The wine list has many options to choose from.

Mi aspettavo di meglio.. Siamo stati in questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mio marito. Appena arrivati il cameriere ci ha gentilmente preso le nostre giacche ritirandole in una stanza, peccato però che dopo pochi minuti le stesse per consegnare ad un cliente che se ne stava andando; se si vuole offrire questo tipo di servizio, bisognerebbe essere più organizzati o attenti. In compenso il prosecco e un'entree di benvenuto sono stati molto graditi. Scelta di diversi tipi di menù a prezzi accessibili e ampia scelta anche per la carta dei vini. I piatti che arrivavano erano accompagnati da descrizioni dettagliate sulla loro preparazione e sul modo consigliato di assaggio (rischiando pero' di essere noiose e poco interessanti). Dopo aver sentito le spiegazioni le aspettative sono state in parte deluse, ci aspettavamo qualcosina in più. Personale cortese.

Purtroppo per la prima volta in vita mia, devo fare una recensione negativa. Non per il cibo, che probabilmente sarebbe stato molto buono (ho lasciato senza stelle il cibo perché non l’ho mangiato) ma per l’obbligo, a mio avviso anacronistico, di chiedere due portate (salate) obbligatorie. Premetto che le scelte aziendali restano tali ma con un menù salatissimo (quello si), non credo sia giusto pretendere che i clienti debbano ordinare a forza due piatti. Per correttezza, devo dire che l’avviso dell’obbligo delle due portate salate era presente nel menù del sito ma scritto in fondo è poco visibile. La scelta secondo me spetta solo ed esclusivamente al cliente. Un’occasione persa da parte loro.
