Angolo 16 Via Giuseppe Barbaroux Reviews
Excellent food. Couldn't fault any of it.
Highly recommended: A real discovery in Turin! I've been to this restaurant for dinner and lunch and was extremely satisfied. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes that flawlessly combine tradition and innovation. The service was top-notch, handled with professionalism and friendliness. Special praise goes to the manager, Patrizia, whose passion and attention to customer service are reflected in every detail, making the experience truly unique. The rest of the staff was also top-notch, always smiling and helpful. We return whenever we can.
We went for an intimate family dinner. The restaurant is minimalist, with limited seating and plenty of space, so it was well-ventilated and felt truly comfortable! The menu is divided into tasting menus and à la carte (with 3 or 4 off-menu options), mostly seafood, but with a few Piedmontese dishes: limited choices and truly generous portions. A "reduced" menu is always a good sign, as it guarantees careful attention to detail in the dishes served. The service was attentive, very polite, and friendly. We enjoyed the evening so much that we didn't take photos, except for the delicious conclusion of the STUFFED PEACHES, delicious! I highly recommend spending an evening here if you're looking for an intimate and quiet "corner," elegant yet informal. Enjoy!
Ok
We are spending five days on holidays in Torino, and had dinner at Angolo16 one evening. Everything was most enjoyable. For primi, we had the seafood spaghetti and the plin. For secondi, I had the ricciola” (amberjack), and my husband had the “rombo” (turbot). We then shared a peach with amaretto dessert. All the dishes were delicious with lovely sauces and beautifully presented. The service was most attentive. The decor of the restaurant is modern and attractive. Altogether we really enjoyed our time here.
Saturday late afternoon was lucky to made the reservation. Well presented octupus, calamari, fish soup..., service and aftertaste were excellent! Thanks for nice dinner ! Dessert was delicious!
Excellent options for both primi and secondi piati. The redfish was a surprise and delight though all of the food was outstanding. The staff was helpful and efficient.
Amazing place, very friendly staff and delicious food.
Local friends invited us to meet for dinner here. Italy has the world's best food so this seafood place a bit inland might have been a stretch, but they did a very fine job with perfect pastas and tasty sauces. Pasta al nero di seppia (squid ink pasta) was the favorite at our table. We had two of us do the tasting menu with 5 courses and 3 glasses of paired wines for 45€ and thought we got a fantastic bargain. Staff had just one person who spoke English, but we were not by the tourist spots.
Went here while in Turin. Really enjoyed the experience. The service is really fantastic. The food is very well presented. The decor is also simplistically pleasant. I had the black spaghetti with sea food as the primi. I would highly recommend this. The restaurant opens at 1930 hours. Not 1800 as mentioned on the store page.
Excellen reataurant also for a quick, quiet, elegant and tasty business lunch (12 euro water and coffee included)
Good location and friendly staff, delicious food. Grissinis are quite good. I asked med rare meat in return I had a well done steak. That is my only complaint
Great restaurant, fancier than usual in Turin, great fish, lovely service. Prices so very reasonable and lovely local Prosecco!

personnel very kind and prompt to our requests, food very good and well presented, price reasonable, nice environment
We spent a pleasant evening in this very quiet restaurant, beautifully decorated and well-run. The service was very attentive and friendly, though unfortunately a bit slow. The dishes were good, especially the risotto with lime, marinated tuna, and almonds. In my opinion, the price-to-quantity ratio is a bit unbalanced. For example, the pistachio-crusted prawns cost €20 for three prawns. Despite having an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, I left feeling a little hungry.
Very well presented dishes, well cooked and helpful and friendly service. Good wine too. Would definitely return if opportunity arose. Opening times not correct though. Did not open until 1930.

Good service interesting menu. To modern for my liking but cuisinewas very good. Wines a little on the expensive side

OK food but terrible service. When questioned staff response was equally poor. Lesson: do not try to blame the customer for your failings.
I tried to book for two consecutive days (Tuesday and Wednesday) when the official website stated it was open for both lunch and dinner, but there was no answer on my landline. My cell phone immediately went to voicemail, where I even left a message, but nothing. I even went there around 6:00 PM, where I found the shutters closed, but it didn't seem abandoned, and there was no notice. A terrible experience.
