Carta da Zucchero Via Giuseppe Gianella Reviews
Fantastic place in the old Baggio area, a café and, above all, a spectacular pastry shop! There's a small indoor area for breakfast and a snack. The tarts in various flavors are fantastic! Highly recommended!
One of the best pastry shops I've ever been to! There were so many delicious things to try. The desserts are fresh, well-made, and you can tell they use quality ingredients—there's so much to choose from! I ordered a millefeuille, and besides being beautiful, it was truly delicious. The staff is kind and helpful, and unlike what I've unfortunately read in some reviews, they welcome you with a smile and help you choose. The place is also clean and very well-kept. I absolutely recommend it; I'll be back!
I have to make a change to my first review, about a year after having breakfast here. Perhaps the popularity has not helped, because the disorganization, also due but not only to the small spaces, at peak times, is the master. Not only did I wait a long time for 2 coffees, even though there was no crowd, but then I also waited at the cash register, because without saying a word, the employee turned her back on us (and she had seen us well) and started preparing a hot chocolate. I also add that they gave me a used tray to clear the table without cleaning it. A nice pastry shop like this should have attentions that make the difference……. Discovered this small, intimate, very well-kept place this morning, furnished with very beautiful popular antiques that give it a sophisticated air. I finally ate a truly exquisite brioche!!! Cakes and pastries are on my list for the next tastings. Very kind staff. A very small suggestion: perhaps using a better milk would earn a lot of points for breakfast.
We went to this fantastic place for my wife's birthday snack. The ladies were really kind and the cake was beautiful (we almost felt sorry for ourselves! 😉). My wife enjoyed everything because the desserts aren't super sugary. The dessert, mascarpone cream with vanilla, wasn't cloying at all. You just have to try it.
In the Baggio neighborhood, two partners have embarked on an adventure worthy of the finest entrepreneurial traditions... For seven years, they have been revitalizing and enhancing, with kindness, courtesy, and professionalism, a corner of Milan's most authentic old suburbs. A non-place, a living room offered to customers, students, and regulars, where they can enjoy delicious pastries, food, and wine, and find authentic products served with kindness and courtesy. In beautiful, tasteful, simple yet refined surroundings: certainly a place to return to and recommend.
Delicious coffee and pastries, nice atmosphere and design
Simple and delicious cakes, cookies that melt in your mouth, delicious semifreddo and super cannoncini. They are always available to satisfy requests... even those made at the last minute! The pastry chef and baristas are simply adorable like their place, with that wonderful color! My favorite pastry shop!

Very expensive
Pessima esperienza.
