DB Via Madama Cristina Reviews
Delicious food and staff is so welcoming
Incredibly great tasting food, great portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff too
I had the satay chicken and the peanut sauce. Really nice
The most authentic Thai food in Turin. It's just like going to Thailand, apart from the Mango & sticky rice.
great food, great atmosphere and dedicated service. The food was very authentic, probably the only place in turin with good thai food.
Very delicious and authentic tasting Thai restaurant. The vibe was good too. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for good Asian eats to this restaurant!
I’m Thai…my foods it’s was very delicious…here is real Thai!! Highly recommend
Place is small and looks like takeaway with tiny tables. But food is JUST DELICIOUS. Highly recommend Soup with Srimp in coconut carry sauce. Actually everything we ordered was very tasty. 3 dishes and water costed 35 euros and was perfect for 2 people not to overeat.
I was expecting a takeaway and was pleasantly surprised to discover a bright little restaurant that was simply but nicely decorated. Friendly Italian husband of the Thai Chef owner who served us. We were on a no-carb diet and were able to pick out 2 protein-only main courses, though I cracked a little and ordered their prawn spring rolls to start. They do not have many choices in their menu, but every dish was nicely prepared and tasted good. Was hoping they would have the classic Thai-style fried fish dish, but I guess the lady chef is busy enough as it is. We were happy that they were able to make our dishes “Thai spicy”, which we appreciated. A good address.
Not very flavourful. Thai food for white people.
The restaurant is unremarkable. The reviews are completely inaccurate. We were baited by the extremely exceptional reviews, but the food is mediocre, the sizes are on average, the place is very small and cold, and the stools are awfully uncomfortable. Furthermore, the images on the menu don't represent the actual food.
The restaurant has an absolutely fake rating that has nothing to do with reality. Very expensive prices (7 fried shrimps cost 15 euros), the menu pictures do not correspond to real dishes (the menu has large portions and mostly shows a lot of meat or seafood, in reality - expect a small portion of rice and a couple of shrimps). But the worst part was that we waited 30 minutes for the order! On a hot day in August, sitting outside in a 35 degree heat. During this time, the waiter did not even bother to come up to us and offer water or apologize for the delay, etc. The place survives on extreme prices so it doesn't need a tip. You will still pay your 40 euros for a lunch of two small dishes and two bottles of beer. If you are looking for a quick tasty meal that is typical of Asian cuisines - do not go to this place. A lure for tourists who leave their money... Ps. Dear restaurant owner, let me answer your eloquent comment under my review. Firstly, I didn't write a word that the food was tasteless, please read the comment again. I said the portions are very small. I'm sorry we ate the food we paid for. It was really good typical Thai food. Secondly. Of course the prices are on the menu and I also did not blame you for slipping me the wrong bill. The menu contains pictures of large portions for which it is not a pity to pay dearly. But unfortunately the dish you brought and the dish shown on the menu are two different things. Thirdly. When we arrived at the restaurant there were several clients. They were already finishing their lunch. Therefore, we were the first on the list for service. No need to say, the restaurant was busy. Of course, people reading these reviews will never know how it really was, so you have the right to tell everyone a fantastic story about your workload. Fourth, you didn't answer why the waiter never came up to us in half an hour. Needless to say, we waited 20 minutes. I politely waited 25 minutes and then went to the waiter myself. Then he answered me that the order would be ready in 5 minutes. In total, our waiting time was 30 minutes ... Do you want to discuss something else?
