Trattoria Granatieri Via Mantova Reviews
Traditional Cremonese cuisine at reasonable prices, the owner is very friendly and kind
A delightful and welcoming place, where you can breathe in the air and smell the history of this ancient trattoria. The appetizers of cured meats and cheeses with the ever-present mustard are excellent, and the first courses are delicious: tortelli, marubini, and above all, Cremonese tripe. And to finish, an excellent braised meat. The owner is helpful, kind, and affable, and her colleague is very cordial. See you soon 😃😃😃
Very quick staff despite the rush hour, local dishes and very good prices, highly recommended
I'd give it double the stars, really! Kindness and professionalism from all the staff, especially the girl who welcomed us and took our orders. The place was warm and welcoming; I felt right at home. Excellent homemade food! Even though the dining room was full today, November 9, due to the Torrone festival, they were still efficient and very courteous. We spent €60 for two, including one appetizer, two first courses, two second courses with two side dishes, one dessert, two coffees, water, and a cover charge. I recommend it, and thank you for seeing you next time.
Excellent service and food! I fully recommend this place!
Tasty food and old, classic Italian atmosphere, great prices. I absolutely recommend
Trattoria vicina allo stadio, offre piatti della tradizione regionale, la Signora che lo gestisce è gentilissima e cerca di andare incontro ad ogni richiesta del cliente, anche su piccole cose fuori …
A satisfying lunch on the fly. On Sunday we stopped for lunch at this place. A menu proposed by word of mouth with a limited choice of typical and home-made dishes. Really satisfied both in quantity and quality. Excellent trio of tortelli and a veal with tuna sauce to remember! Try it because it is highly recommended!
A vintage trattoria with 1970s decor and a wide selection of traditional dishes. The appetizer is a truly high-quality selection of cured meats, the pumpkin tortelli are excellent, and the boiled meat is delicious, but you have to be lucky to get a piece of chicken (one of our guests only got bones). Excellent value, and the serving girl was very professional and polite. We'll definitely be back.
Small And hide-out Restaurant with nice prices, but meal was really so tasty.
Traditional Trattoria with old style flair.
La trattoria vanta una cucina di tradizione cremonese e in effetti i piatti lo sono ma la qualità é mediocre. La critica che faccio é che manca un menu ai tavoli con il prezzo relativo ai piatti che …
I returned after many years, and perhaps there's new management. The dishes were a bit disappointing, lacking the flavor of the past. It's a shame, it was a historic restaurant for Cremona.
Trattoria located on the outskirts of Cremona, not far from the stadium. We booked a last-minute table on the veranda, which, with its plastic windows, was a bit drab. We started with a trio of handmade tortelli, which were good but, in my opinion, a bit overcooked. The roast beef with potatoes was tasty, while my mixed boiled meat was good but rather dull (two slices of tongue, one of beef, one small piece of chicken, two teaspoons of salsa verde, and poor-quality mustard). Service was extremely slow, so much so that we saw diners skip their courses to leave. The hostess insisted that the dishes were freshly made and it was very busy (since when are roasts or boiled meats freshly made?). The quality/price ratio was poor.
nel menu non c’è scelta sono disponibili solo 5 piatti rispetto ai 30 che sono scritti da menu, non ci tornerei in questo posto
Two stars, reluctantly. I had lunch at this restaurant on Saturday, November 15, with my family. We made a reservation for six, arrived, sat down, had lunch, and everything went well. Good food, good service, and the two waitresses were very nice. The real problem arose when paying. We politely asked for separate bills; I would have paid for four people, and my sister-in-law for the other two. The owner was already confused by this request. I listed what I would have paid, she checked it off, and with a calculator, she calculated the amount due. My total is €198. I'm speechless. I look at my husband and say, "Excuse me, but €198 for the four of us? That seems like a lot." The owner overhears and, looking very annoyed, grabs her calculator and says, "Look, I'll recalculate it." She starts recalculating, calculates, and says, "Just like that, we're already at €40, but let's keep going." I calmly tell her she can continue. She continues, and lo and behold, the bill is €128. She changes her attitude and says, "Actually, I made a mistake; it actually seemed very high to me before." Still polite, I tell her it's no problem; to err is human, I pay, and leave. Now the point is, I really do think that to err is human; it can happen (even if it's a €70 difference). The problem is the attitude. She almost made me look like a starving person who, after eating the world, asked for a second check of the total. She was the first to notice the mistake and told me that she had indeed immediately realized it seemed very high. Therefore, my two stars are truly regrettable. The food, I repeat, is simple but good. The price controls are very good, and they served us quickly, too. P.S. One last negative note: I still haven't figured out why the veal with tuna sauce at my table arrived without capers, while the table behind it did. Too bad.
Me and my African colleagues got a rude welcome from the lady.
