Thank you to Elly and all the staff in a friendly and well run hotel. This was our second visit to this lovely place. Very close to the beautiful lake Orta. Easy to get to from Milan airports. We shall be back again no doubt.
Eu Adaptors don't work here need the Italian ones Gorgeous place Lovely breakfast Quaint and vintage / royal feel
We had a lovely stay in this charming hotel, it is located in very quiet peaceful area.Staff vas extremely helpful and kind, dinner in the restaurant had amazing Italian food and for the breakfast we had a good selection .The rooms were very clean with a comfortable beds and the view was amazing. We will definitely stay here again
Enjoyed espresso with fresh orange juice. View over the lake 🤩 Lovely team at the restaurant 👌 Good value ☝️
Easy,no frills place. We loved it. We were on a budget and this hotel made our stay at Orta & Maggiore possible. No TV in the room, what a blessing❤️ Lovely breakfast and dinner, big servings! Try the tagliere (cold cuts & cheese board). Friendly staff & management.
Is place literally in the mountains, nice and big. Breakfast amazing.
Ideal location, set between Stresa and Orta. Basic accommodation but clean and has all we needed, staff can not do enough for you, they're great. There are plenty augritourismo to find. and if you love views take a short trip up to the Mottorone where you can eat or just for a coffee, great.just take it all in.
We stayed here two nights and it's a beautiful hotel on a historic location. The hostess was very charming and helpfull all the time and made us feel at home right away. The room with balcony is furnished with antiques and ever charming. There's a swimming pool and a very spacious terrace outside with a fantastic view. I'd say it's also very suitable for families with kids. Enough parking space too and a perfect base to explore the surroundings and all the attractions of Lago d'Orta and Lago Maggiore. We will definitely visit this hotel again.
Lovely hotel, nice spacious and quiet rooms. Great dinner and breakfast with a very nice view. But what really makes the day are the hosts. Such warmth and genuine care for and interest in their guests. Recommend to stay if you’re in the Orta region.
Cozy place, a bit vintage but charmingly so. Family friendly, clean rooms and a nice pool. Good breakfast, great coffee, friendly staff. We had a really tasty porcini risotto for dinner. There is some motorcycle noise during the day as the Hotel sits on a scenic mountain road, but in the evening and especially after dark it's nice and quiet. The location means getting there involves driving up a rather steep road with some hairpin turns.
Charming little hotel with very friendly staff and a lovely terrace. The surroundings are great too. Perfect spot for hiking, MTB or just chilling
Very nice stay with excellent food. Hostess was such a darling and she did everything to make you feel welcome and loved. We are coming back for sure!
Went there for improvised lunch and were oh si pleasantly surprised by the top noch service. I recommend the risotto (rather than the pizza) which is made with mushrooms from the region
Thank you so much for the wine - we took home...we enjoyed it with some Italian friends recently - and it was a great company on our table!! - Looking forward to meeting you again - Kind Regards, Robert
Hotel Madonna DI Luciago is a very nice place. Big rooms, wonderfull view over the mountains, and a Nice pool with clean water from the mountains . The staff is very nice and the service is perfect. There is always a smile and a good comment. I Can fully recomment this hotel. We had 3 wonderfull days.
Genuinely one of the nicest places I have stayed. A very quirky hotel with lots of ornaments. Extremely friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. If you get lucky and mama is making lasagna make sure you buy two portions because it's is one of the best things you will ever taste.
This is a very attractive building in a great location among the mountains of north Italy, close to the Swiss border. There are superb views all around and it is well worth walking around the local area. For a summer stay, there is plentiful outside seating for both drinks and dining. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and extremely hard-working! There’s a small swimming pool and a number of sunloungers. The rooms are old-fashioned in keeping with the style and age of the property and comfortable enough, although the bathroom was a bit small. Breakfast is good and plentiful and you have to have coffee from their fantastic and vintage coffee machine!
Fantastic service, clean rooms and a nice cold pool with fresh water from the mountains. The place seems anachronistic, but it is kind a charming. Don't expect modern quality, minibar, TV and strong wifi, but step into another time, with wooden panels, religious art on the walls, and great personal service.
