Delicious food combined with a spectacular view of Lake Garda. We were lucky to be seated on the front tables. The waiters were very kind - attentive and polite. The lasagna is a must to order - combine it with a Caprese salad upfront, finish with strawberry tiramisu and thank me later.

Walking around and found this restaurant for a cappuccino and sat outside by the water for a while with friends visiting. What a great view, the service was fantastic and the bathroom was being cleaned when I went to use it and then didn’t have any toilet paper so I told them and they brought it immediately. A lot to watch from the water to the people walking around.

Gemma Restaurant was a wonderful surprise in Limone. The atmosphere is spectacular, the service was excellent, and the view is simply breathtaking. Molto curata la cucina, i piatti sono ben presentati e oserei dire abbondanti. Si sente la qualità dei prodotti, ho trovato particolarmente buoni i ravioli di brasato con zucca che in bocca risultano saporiti ed equilibrati, ottimo il coniglio ripieno con polentina delicato e ben servito. Inoltre posso dire che il servizio è curato ed il personale è gentile. Prezzi nella media e forse anche un pochino sotto, considerando la vista dalle vetrate del lago che aggiunge anche un tocco romantico. Consigliatissimo Anche solo per una pizza o per un aperitivo.

Cenetta romantica per due, anticipata da 2 drink nella piazzetta. Non si può definire aperitivo perchè i drink vengono accompagnati giusto da qualche patatina, ma il Limoncino Spriz è veramente ottimo. Sicuramente gustarlo seduti fronte lago regala un dolce momento di relax. Non avevamo prenotato, ma mentre ci gustavamo il drink al tramonto, la responsabile di sala ha avuto la cortesia di riservarci il primo tavolo interno al ristorante, sempre affacciato sul lago. Abbiamo cenato in compagnia di un simpatico cigno che passava sotto la veranda e abbiamo potuto ammirare la luna sorgere. Ho amato l'atmosfera di questa location. Il ristorante è preparato per persone celiache, così ho potuto mangiare delle fantastiche linguine con sugo di pesce senza glutine. La porzione senza glutine era molto abbondante, tanto da dividerla con il mio ragazzo, che aveva già ordinato un piatto di ravioli di pesce e, a detta sua, sia la pasta SG che i ravioli erano molto buoni. Per secondo abbiamo ordinato la grigliata mista per 2 persone ed il pesce era molto buon, cotto in modo perfetto. L'unica pecca è stato il fatto che, avevamo richiesto un calice di bianco per accompagnare il secondo, invece ci è stato portato subito, ancora prima che arrivasse il primo. A chiusura del pasto abbiamo ordinato il caffè, qualità amabile e ci è stato offerto il limoncello, davvero ottimo! Anche l'olio che viene messo a disposizione sui tavoli e di alta qualità, per chi non soffre di celiachia, consiglio di assaggiarlo su del pane, né vale la pena. Il conto finale è stato di € 134,00 per 2 persone. Non è poco, ma considerato quello che abbiamo ordinato e la location, direi assolutamente nella media come prezzo. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Ristorante consigliato per una serata d'atmosfera.

Ristorante con splendida terrazza sul lago nella caratteristica piazza garibaldi. Accogliente e super preparato lo staff. Cibi ottimi e di qualità eccellente. Di certo la qualità è l’ottimo servizio si paga e di conseguenza i prezzi sono in linea.

La posizione perfetta direttamente sul lago, rende questo ristorante il luogo migliore per gustare un buon pasto per chiunque faccia visita alla splendida località di Limone sul Garda. Il menù è ampio e offre una vasta scelta culinaria sia per chi predilige la carne e il pesce, sia per chi ama i primi e le pizze. Queste ultime meritano un elogio: croccanti ai bordi e ben farcite. Ho gradito un po' meno gli abbinamenti tra il dolce e il salato sui piatti di pesce (non amo particolarmente accostare il sapore del mare con creme dolci agli agrumi), ma si tratta solo di un gusto personale, motivo per il quale non la considero una nota di demerito. Il servizio è stato cordiale e veloce e la pulizia precisa. Il costo dei piatti è in linea con ciò che propongono i luoghi turistici, forse un tantino alto sulle bevande. Un'esperienza comunque positiva.

Ristorante affacciato sul lago!!!!con una vista mozzafiato. Abbiamo mangiato i bigoli....veramente ottimi. Abbiamo preso anche un antipasto di misto tutto molto fresco e di qualità. Nonostante il pienone perché era il 1 gennaio servizio veloce e personale gentile. Prezzo leggermente alto ma comprensibile per la posizione stupenda. Lo consiglio

Couldn't get a better position over looking the lake. Menu is ok, aimed at tourist population. I doubt Italians would eat here. Nevertheless, prices are good, food is tasty. Worked my way through a lovely dessert menu. Gets really busy as it's popular and the service staff do get a little impatient as they try and cover all the customers. Became my local when staying at hotel all azzurro.

We had a nice dinner here and can recommend going here. The view is amazing overlooking the Lake and rest of the town. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The food was very tasty, but the portions were somewhat small for the price.

Esperienza ottima. il locale è tranquillo, con vista meravigliosa sul garda. Ci sono anche opzioni per celiaci. Il senza glutine è piaciuto. Il prezzo è giusto per ciò che viene offerto.

Stopped here for drinks, excellent draft Forst beer, my partner opted for a couple of soft drinks. Given how busy they were, we were served rather promptly. Bill came to 22.5 euros. Handed the big guy who collects the money 30 euros. He said, "was okay?" we said yes, and he said thanks and kept 7.5 euros as a tip. Had no problem with giving him 2.5 as the younger staff had kept us hydrated despite being insanely busy. Don't believe in making scenes but will be more wary at Ristorante Gemma as don't like being fleeced like that. "Was okay?" to us meant drinks, service etc. Not robbing us face-to-face. Tourists be wary.

In short: Beautiful setting but inconsistent service and underwhelming food portions. 🌄🍽️ Ristorante Gemma is nicely located with great views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. 🌄 The table setup feels a bit fancy, which initially gave the impression of a more refined experience. 🍽 Service, however, was very mixed — some waiters carried themselves with a classic, upright posture and cloth over the arm, while others seemed a bit slow and disinterested. A middle ground might better suit the atmosphere. 🤷‍♂️ Oddly enough, for the first 30–45 minutes of our visit, Arabic music was playing over the speakers. It didn’t really match the setting and had us wondering whether we were actually in an Italian restaurant. 🎶❓️ Upon sitting down, we ordered some water which the waiter poured for us — a nice touch. We were also given bread, but no plates, which made it tricky to do a proper olive oil, salt, and pepper bread dip. 🍶 We ordered one starter — the burrata — and asked for it to arrive with the main dishes so we could share it as a kind of side. Despite this, it was brought out far in advance of the mains. Not a big deal, but a bit disappointing since we’d made a specific request. 🤷‍♂️ The main dishes arrived about an hour after ordering. The wait was a little long, but we noticed many other tables had it worse — some had food quite quickly, others seemed to wait even longer. ⏳️ Overall, the food was decent, but the portions were very small. The ravioli dish had just six small pieces with a bit of sauce — it felt more like a starter than a main. The spicy pasta was green in color but otherwise not memorable. The pasta with burrata had only a miniature amount of burrata and was mostly tomato sauce, which came off bland. 🍝 The lasagna was the highlight — flavorful, satisfying, and finally a portion big enough to feel like a main meal. Definitely where the kitchen shines. ☀️ I had the “typical steak of beef” expecting something in the range of a 200–300g veal or beef steak. 🥩 What I received was three thinly sliced pieces of well-done meat, a bit bland on their own. I ended up adding a good amount of pepper and made myself a kind of pepper-meat slip. The fries served with it didn’t look great and were poorly plated, but they were crispy. With olive oil, salt, pepper, and some parmesan, they ended up doing the job. 🍟🧂🫒 I would strongly recommend going with lasagna or just some starters for a snack, while enjoying the view. 🏞

Purtroppo sono costretta a mettere 2 stelle. Siamo venuti qui a pranzo per mangiare una pizza. Location sicuramente bella, tavolo vista lago. Ordiniamo le pizze e dopo 45 minuti di attesa ci vengono servite (nel frattempo i tavoli che si erano seduti dopo di noi stavano già mangiando). Arrivano le pizze e sono fredde. I condimenti sono stati messi sopra prima di uscire dalla cucina senza essere minimamente riscaldati. Quando il cameriere chiede come mai abbiamo avanzato le pizze, rispondiamo che erano fredde, e lui alza le spalle e si scusa. Se si chiede solo per formalità é meglio non chiedere. Chiudiamo con due caffè, anche quelli non senza lunga attesa. Conto direi salatissimo vista la qualità del cibo: 13.50€ per una pizza cotto e funghi 12.80€ per una capricciosa E soprattuto 4.50€ una bottiglietta di ACQUA NATURALE. Mi spiace ma non basta avere la bella vista sul lago per gonfiare in questo modo i prezzi!

Beautiful views! Especially if you get a table by the water. The food was okay but very overpriced for what it was and small portions. The lunch left us all hungry.

We got two appetizers, one king crab and one raw seafood plate, the presentation was gorgeous and the cucumber sorbet in king crab platter was so refreshing, however we both found the plates a bit too small for 23 Euros. Then as main dish got ink pasta and egg pasta with croaker fish pieces, the croaker pieces could have been all held in a dessert spoon and again, for the 19 Euros we were expecting a little bit more fish. Overall a nice area but makes me think maybe we didn't choose the best dishes.

Allora, vista lago stupenda.. ti rilassi sicuramente ma ti aspetti anche di mangiare bene. Arriviamo iniziando con un aperitivo, visto che i cocktail mi piacciono, prendo un moscow mule. Si presenta bene, bicchiere di rame come dev'essere.. 8€ e sapeva di acqua e zenzero. 6€ birra forst. Stuzzichini? Cestino di patatine fiappe/vecchie e il sospetto che fossero del tavolo a fianco pulito poco prima. Vabbè, decidiamo lo stesso di rimanere a mangiare, vista la location. I piatti arrivano dopo un'eternità, ma non è un problema, non abbiamo fretta. Burrata con 4 acciughe contante. non merita più di una stella 16,80€. Premetto che amo il piccante la pasta era abbondante si, ma veramente immangiabile 'chitarra a.o.p' 13,80€. Tartare di carne 14,80€ forse quella un po' si salva. 15,80€ per 5 ravioli. I piatti sembrano anche belli e invitanti, si presentano bene. Personale chiassoso, ragazze comunque educate, spiego dispiaciuta della pasta immangiabile, visto che il ragazzo mi chiede e poi alza le spalle. Grazie. Se chiedi per proforma non chiedere e fai prima. Ho preferito rinunciare al dolce. Acqua panna 4,50€ 2 caffè 5€. Buono l'amaretto Coperto 2 persone 5€. Visti i prezzi e location le aspettative erano alte ma è stata una delusione totale. Sconsigliato. 89,70€ spesi malissimo.

Pessima esperienza. Arriva la pizza al tavolo bar affianco al nostro, chiediamo di ordinarne anche noi e ci dicono che non è possibile. Arrivano dei ragazzi in un tavolo affianco chiedendo se fosse possibile ordinare delle pizze e gli viene detto di si e fornito il menu. Oltre alle pizze normali, fanno pizze baby ma non si puó chiedere una wurstel e patatine baby anzichè baby normale. Le cameriere non sono gentili e sembra che gli si faccia un dispiacere ad essere lí. Peccato fosse uno dei pochi locali aperti o avremmo cambiato posto volentieri.

Worst service ever. Arrogant waiters, got my order wrong multiple times, and the steak arrived more than an hour late. I had to repeat my order three times before it was finally served. Had to repeat my order at the cashier in order to pay. The atmosphere and the views are amazing, and the food itself was good — but the service completely ruined what could have been a great evening. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
