Pasticceria Rossini Via Repubblica Reviews
Le paste migliori e la crema chantilly più buona di Verona la trovate qui. Personale gentilissimo interno non molto grande esterno con diversi posti a sedere. Lo consiglio.
The pastries and croissants are excellent, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. The owner is a truly wonderful person. Congratulations!
Excellent wines. I enjoyed the Bardolino alla spina and the welcome.
An authentic pastry shop offering products with the flavor of times gone by. Soft, homemade croissants (unsurprisingly), generously filled with delicious creams (also unsurprisingly), well-made pastries, and good coffee; all sweetened by the kind and friendly service of the ladies at the counter and Giorgio, the owner. A special mention goes to the single-serving Sacher torte: exceptional!!
We decided to stop by this place and tried two brioches, a Sicilian cannoli, and two coffees... good but average brioches (but the croissant was full of filling), a truly excellent cannoli (it's a shame the regular-sized ones were only available for takeaway), and a decent coffee. Quick service from a very cheerful guy and a well-kept and elegant atmosphere, with a wide selection of pastries.
Excellent. I always buy the zaleti and the fisherman's sandwich for breakfast, and they're very good. Sometimes I stop for a good coffee. Always crowded at the tables. Very friendly staff. These places keep the neighborhood alive. Thank you.
I had a reception prepared for my birthday: it was a huge success! Everything was delicious, fresh, and of excellent quality. I had some leftovers, which I put in the freezer; it was also delicious thawed. I had the cake made with lots of cannoli filled with various flavors: a great idea, practical, and very popular. Highly recommended!
Sooper
Really very good Krapfen with a cream filling with zabaglione.
The breakfast was very good, the pastries were fantastic, and as for the service, I hope you're served by the waitress who's often there (I think her name is Elisa). She's the only one who always greets you with a smile, and she's very kind and helpful. If she hadn't served us, the atmosphere would have been like a funeral; the cashier was rude, and the rest of the staff would need to take a hospitality course.
Buona la brioche, ottimo il servizio, posizione strategica in una bella piazza. Prezzi più che ragionevoli (siamo stati serviti al tavolo senza l'applicazione di sovraprezzo). Da provare.
Four months ago, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, my friend and I stopped by this pastry shop in the afternoon to celebrate the last day of Carnival. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a cappuccino with barley coffee and six apple fritters. The fritters were good, but the cappuccino left a bitter, burnt aftertaste in my mouth. I love my cappuccino hot, but they served it almost cold. On the other hand, the place is clean and tidy. As soon as you enter, you notice the slightly dated decor; it feels like you're walking into a 1970s-era establishment. The outdoor seating is nice. To be honest, it's a place for a quick coffee; it's not suitable for families with children, it's not welcoming, and the decor isn't very modern.
Buongiorno, avete gelati? No. Una coca zero? No. Allora ha un succo al pompelmo? No. Un'aranciata amara? No. Un sorbetto al limone? No. Abbiamo tanti dolci però... È vero, ma ci sono 36gradi........
I understand this is a very difficult time for everyone and the distrust spreading among residents themselves due to the decline in public order, the neighborhood itself, in sad social decline, but... I was looking for a different bar, out of the usual crowd, but PERHAPS, because of a "bad day," the kindness I received means I'll never return. Without further ado, I paid, consumed, and left, sadly annoyed by the inhospitality I received. I'm sorry, and I understand the tension we all face daily, but I avoided the usual "war between the poor."
Small pastries are absolutely not recommended. They are inedible. Very hard shortcrust pastry, super heavy creams full of who knows what fats and above all it tastes like the old stuff. I threw everything away
My girl, don't rush a customer 20 minutes before closing if they're manageable, quick, and willing to give you their money. It took me two minutes to get ten pastries (even though they'd already been taken away). I've been coming to this pastry shop since I was a child; you're neither particularly cheap nor the only ones making pastries.
I used to frequent this pastry shop often, but unfortunately I won't be returning after a truly unpleasant incident. During my last visit, a young waitress, blonde and curly-haired, addressed a group of customers who had just entered (young women with their mothers) in an extremely disrespectful manner, using an offensive and inappropriate term to describe them ("the herd has arrived"). I find it extremely serious that such discriminatory and disrespectful comments can be made in a public place. It's a shame, because the quality of the products doesn't make up for the lack of respect shown toward customers.
The girl is very pretty, the boy on the other hand has caveman manners, I would think you were Rossini.
...sitting at a table, waiting to order a cappuccino...almost 20 minutes passed, with the waitress bustling around, not even deigning to say hello. I stopped her, and she brusquely stated that I needed to go to the register first so I could then order at the table. When I went to pay, I pointed out the mix-up and was told, again hastily and somewhat rudely, that a sign posted in the window outside explained the situation sufficiently. In reality, the sign, at knee height, was behind the chairs... The cappuccino wasn't bad, but I won't be back. I prefer a piece of junk...but with a smile.
REALLY SORRY!! I've been a customer for years, but lately something's obviously not right. The staff is always kind and friendly. The owners, I'd say, are definitely less so. I ordered a cake (for 20 people) for my 5-year-old son's birthday. As expected, he got sick the day before the party. I called the bakery the day before, and they told me the crust had already been made. I said, "Well, I'll pay for the crust." And then they immediately told me the cake was already finished (the day before). Anyway, to make a long story short, the owner didn't even want to come to the phone. P.S. In the end, the cake was even soaked in alcohol.
