Their all you can eat lunch is really good quality. It’s fresh made, not like traditional buffet restaurants. I especially like their fried rice noodle and rice cake dish. Their lunch is really good value. Portion size is small, but you can order as many as you want.
I tried the all-you-can-eat menu for lunch. I ordered mostly Chinese dishes, which I really enjoyed. I'll be back.
Chinese restaurant with a Japanese menu. Good selection of dishes. I chose the hot mixed appetizer (spring rolls, fried wontons, shrimp toast, fried shrimp, and puffed shrimp), crab cakes, rice noodles with meat and vegetables, and sweet and sour pork with steamed rice. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The table service was excellent and punctual. The dishes were served just in time for the previous course, and despite the food being freshly cooked, there was no wait. A delicious jasmine tea accompanied the meal.

Very good all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet restaurant. Ristorante Ruben offers a varied selection of fresh and tasty dishes, all at a very reasonable price. The service is fast and the atmosphere friendly. For me, it's clearly the best place less than an hour from Nice to enjoy a quality Chinese buffet.
Still one of the few Chinese/Japanese restaurants that maintains the typical style of old-fashioned Chinese restaurants; clean and well-maintained. The food is delicious, although the selection is limited at lunchtime, but you'll still leave feeling more than full. I recommend trying the shrimp with vegetables; they're delicious. Service is fast, and all the staff are friendly and cheerful. The prices are very reasonable; you can eat for €15. I highly recommend it!
Very good and affordable! Portions aren't big, but they are super cheap and I liked that I could order more different things and try more dishes than just have one big portion. We had rice noodles with shrimps and vegetable, chicken in mango sause and salmon sashimi. Everything was very good.
Very good food at low price. Very much under-rated restaurant. Their chinese food is the best in the area (including Sanremo). I think the food is better after re-opening.
Sushi is decent but we liked their Chinese food better. Very happy to find this restaurant, having moved recently to Bordighera.. Very good value.

Overall, a good Japanese-Chinese restaurant. The all-you-can-eat price is average (11 euros for lunch and 17 euros for dinner), but the menu could be more extensive. The location is beautiful (especially the room where you can eat sitting on the floor with a cushion and a low table). The staff is very friendly and polite. The sushi is tasty but sometimes falls apart. The dishes are varied and change from dish to dish. If you find yourself in Bordighera, this is one of the few Japanese-Chinese restaurants. Recommended.
The food we ordered, both Chinese and Japanese, was good for the price we paid with the all-you-can-eat service. The real problem was the service time: we had to wait quite a while before our drinks were brought, not to mention the food, which took over half an hour for the first course.
Avoid Japanese. Chinese is also good, but Japanese is terrible. uramaki, which are rice balls without fish, and tuna hosomaki, which is the color of worn tires. The rating isn't lower because if someone wants to eat Chinese, they can do so with dignity.
Best priced all you can eat in the area. Good for if you are with teenagers or people that can eat kilos of average food for 2 hours in a row. Friendly people. Some items were really good, others without genuine taste.
