Petti't Bistrot Via Silvio Pellico Reviews
We had a lovely lunch here. The fresh pasta and guinea fowl main courses were both excellent. Additionally, they were easily able to accommodate gluten-free dining.
Awesome food, wine and service. We stumbled upon this resteraunt after tackling to hike/walk from Montforte D'Alba to Baloro. Pasta was excellent they also had a great wine list with local wines and the service was brilliant. A must try!
This is an amazing restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. The terrace offers bar tables overlooking the vineyard and the village—seating is limited in this area, but it’s well worth the wait. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. Their zucchini salad is very refreshingly and one of a kind.
Amazing experience. If we are ever back in the area we are definitely coming back. The food was super super yummy. The views were amazing. There was also a guitarist basking right under the arch on the hill, so not only we had great food with a spectacular view but we also had beautiful live music. The staff were also amazing - really going above and beyond. And the recommendation they made to visit another village, Neuve was spot on. It ended up being our favourite. Thanks so much for the amazing experience!
The starter (caponata) was one of the best I ever had. The view is amazing Very Nice staff We were very well advised for the wine Great value for money
In Barolo, just before the castle. Fantastic view over the landscape when you sit on the balconies on the backside. Fantastic girls with great knowledge of wine and food. You can sit there for hours eat, drink and dream! Really nice apretivo. It's like a food and wine tasting at the same time ! If you are in Langhe this is highly recommended!
A fantastic experience in the heart of Barolo! We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon with friends and were welcomed warmly. The food was absolutely impressive—the homemade seafood ravioli were outstanding, and the rest of the dishes were just as exceptional. We also enjoyed some great bottles of wine and had an amazing time. A truly memorable lunch with excellent food, wine, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
This is a very unique place. They have 2 levels of bar style seating overlooking a striking territorial of the Barolo countryside. The menu is pretty straightforward for the area but everything was well executed and tasty. I read some complaints about the service in other reviews but we did not experience that. If you don't come here for the food, come here for the view and to sit outside on the edge of building while enjoying a bottle of wine and some tasty offerings. Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful - Petti herself and the rest of the team. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine outside in the sun, and she provided free nibbles - good approach. Barola can be a bit pretenti…

The food was very tasty and good (we’ve had antipasti uovo zucchini and the primipasti gnocchi), the glass of wine very nice too. And we’ve had this lunch with such a beautiful view. It was just a pity that we waited for a long time before someone takes our command, and then a long time again between the different meals. Otherwise highly recommended !
Petti't Bistrot is a hidden gem! The staff is friendly, making you feel right at home. The wine selection is superb, offering a variety of choices to satisfy any palate. And sitting on their outside terrace, with a view of the Langhe landscape, is the perfect way to enjoy your meal. It's a delightful experience that combines good service, wine, and scenery. Prices are average, no expensive considering the location.
We went to the bistro for lunch today. We waited over 30 minutes for our glass of wine and bread. Although we politely asked if we could have some grissini in the meantime, our request was not fulfilled — even though the grissini were already prepared just three meters away from us. We would have liked to order a second glass of wine as well, but since we spent 30 minutes staring at an empty table, we didn’t have time for that. What a pity.
A hip place with decent, but not unforgettable food. Reserving a table through WhatsApp was nice and efficient. We were seated on a narrow balcony where we could only sit in a row -even though the scenery was great, it was quite inconvenient with children . The service was slow and not very personal; they could not help with choice of wine (do you want red or white is not the question you'd expect in Barolo), neither were they interested in if we wanted dessert or coffee. It is easy to find a place with more to your euros in the surrounding Piemonte.
