Miscusi Via Urbano Terzo Reviews
This restaurant completely won me over. They serve fresh, delicious pasta at a really good price. You can watch the chefs making the pasta, and the selection of pasta dishes is generally very impressive. The innovative way of ordering and preparing food is testament to their gastronomic expertise. Definitely worth a visit!
We spent the last evening of our stay in Milan and wanted to have some pasta. The ordering process was fun and interactive — you scan a QR code on the table to choose your dishes — and the staff was very friendly. We got our food faster than we expected; it took about five minutes from ordering until the dishes were on the table. We had carbonara and meatballs with tomato sauce and parmesan, and tiramisu.
Everything was amazing especially the customisation choices of choosing everything you get to eat on your pasta with a range of choices and different pasta types. The food looked and tasted amazing and I would recommend to anyone. We had to use a QR code to order instead of paper menus. Since you choose everything the price is very reasonable and good value for money. The food was of a good quality too. Amazing would come back.
Miscusi – Where Italian Tradition Meets Modern Warmth I love the atmosphere here — cozy, modern, and full of Italian charm. The glowing wheat decoration by the window perfectly reflects their “from field to table” philosophy. Fresh handmade pasta, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe make Miscusi a perfect spot for anyone who wants to experience authentic Italian comfort food in a contemporary way.
Really nice place with a cozy atmosphere and fast service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Prices were fair, and the restaurant was clean and well-organized. It would be even better if they offered more vegan or vegetarian options, as there were no clear vegan cheese alternatives listed. Overall, a great experience and definitely recommended for authentic Italian pasta in Milan.
They have a students discount but only on weekdays. You can get pasta for 6€ with the discount. Otherwise you pay from 12€ up for a meal + I think 2-3€ for water. You have to order through a website which you can get to by scanning the QR code on the table. You can choose to get bread to suck up the sauce for free. And the service is somewhat ok. But the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. You even see the man making your pasta.
Not your fancy Milanese pasta restaurant, rather a “simple” place to eat pasta. It is possible to make reservation online and even order ahead which might be convenient for some. You order and pay via QR code which is also nice as sometimes people need a bit more time to put together their own pasta - yes, you can mame your own dish by combining the ingredients in menu. I really enjoyed the Tricolore pasta - slightly spicy and not too heavy. The carbonara was nice too. We tried their tiramisu which was not bad either, but profiterole was certainly tastier! The prices are decent, the service was nice and we received food relatively fast. I would recommend everyone who does need a fancy trattoria and is looking for a descent pasta.
I ordered the Ragu pasta, and while the taste was good, I found the portion a bit small, I was still a bit hungry after finishing it. That said, the overall experience was positive. What I really appreciated was their digital ordering system. You simply scan a QR code to view the menu, customize your pasta, place your order, and even pay, all through their website. It’s super convenient and eliminates the need to wait for staff to take your order or bring the bill. Another nice touch: unlike many Italian restaurants, they don’t charge an additional service fee. The price you see on the menu is exactly what you pay.
Decided to visit Miscusi after seeing the many good reviews online and the various branches around Milan. We walked in to a quiet day which was good as we had the option to sit inside or outside and we chose outside since the weather was good. The waiters were all quite easygoing in a nice informal manner and the entire ordering process was done via an app. We ordered the pistachio pasta but personally I thought it was on the blander side and the combination with the pistachio didn’t work that well with me, I would’ve expected a deeper flavour so that was slightly unfortunate. However we wanted to try other pastas so got the gricia also, that was the star of the show for me as thoroughly enjoyed it, well seasoned and the notes from the cheese mixed in was amazing with a nice texture from the pork. Lastly we shared a tiramisu which was my first tiramisu of the trip and was really great also and super light, luckily we came during a happy hour too so was €3 for a spritz. Overall would go Miscusi again but would be more specific on the pastas that I choose as evidently some can be hit or miss.
