Chak'Ramen Via Venti Settembre Reviews
We found the restaurant by accident while walking around Torino and it was amazing. I’m a big anime and japanese cuisine lover and everything was super tasty! The interior and atmosphere is beyond great, everything anime based. Even my friend, who isn’t a big ramen lover, liked the food. Highly reccomend the place (waiter was also cute 😁).
Best Ramen in Turin. Excellent food and cosplay available for free are really funny
Nice food and huge portions, lovely atmosphere.
Great for kids and animals fans. Restaurant seating sections with different anime themes. Anime costumes available to borrow at the entrance. Big menu with digital ordering system and quick service. Prices - not bad.
Lovely place for Anime, DBZ, One piece and Yugioh fans. The place is anime themed and the food is really delicious and not expensive all things considered. We had fun and ate well, and they even have costumes you can put on!
Nice concept, the atmosphere of the restaurant is based on anime and manga. I love the idea that you can choose an anime cape to dress with during the meal. The vegetarian miso ramen was bland, clear, not much taste, I believe there's room for improvement. For the rest we had good gyozas and the staff was friendly.
The food is decent, better than a lot of places in Torino, however, I give it 3 stars because I feel I've had better Ramen in torino for a cheaper price. However, the ambience is amazing! Beautiful place! The staff is very kind and helpful, they even helped us take a couple of nice pictures! Overall, am I going to suggest this place to someone? Yes!
Amazing atmosphere, average ramen, super tasty takoyaki and gyoza
All right, I would point people towards the photo. We can see by the meat that this is in no way the correct style of meat. The excess of greenery is unusual for ramen. Far too much pickled roots. And most disappointing of all was the broth which was completely without depth or flavour. One compliment is that the oil used to fry the spring rolls was very clean and fresh tasting. You can see by the skin of the edamame that this is not the freshest
My wife found a piece of sponge in her ramen. Its sad, but It’s things that can happen in a kitchen. The real problem is not the sponge itself, but the fact it indicates this restaurant doesn’t use machines to do cleaning AND drying of the dishes. Unfortunately the broth had a foul smell, that I recognize when you use the same type of cloth for washing and drying the plates. I appreciated the gesture as they discounted the total after I showed the piece of sponge. The decoration inside is nice, but whoever is in charge of this is in for the money and not for the love of ramen. Other than the foul smell, the ramen are soaked, the broth is too liquid and lacks the richness that you get with a more careful blend with bones. The result is a very watery ramen. The edamame was also outdated and I was ashamed I had to give this as a meal for my daughter. Despite the nice decor I cannot endorse this shop. The staff was nice and tried to be understanding. But overall I don’t think the owners really love Japanese culture, the attention to detail and hygiene are key in Japan, this is a real shame. I think other customers should beware before making the decision to eat here.
Location is nice, food not so much
I can see why it's popular for the location but the ramen is not good. This feels like someone saw that ramen was a trendy food, thought "I can make money out of this" and decided to open a ramen place without knowing anything about the food.
